Boarding reviews in Erlanger

We have been going back to them for quite some time, I want to say for about 5 years or so. They are affordable. I would pay more money to have a better facility for my cat and my dog; they have a better facility. Instead of putting my cat in a cage, they have a condo that's nice and spacious. They do have a program where I can pay per day and they have a one to one play time kind of thing. A lot of boarding places do not have that. I am willing to pay money to get those services.

My cat, I don't think likes going anywhere else but there. They are very responsible. I can rely on them. My dog passed, I don't have her anymore. She was fine. They do have a program and we can pay; they have someone to play with the cat.

It was awesome! Above and beyond what any "normal" kennel would offer. You don't have to pay for every extra and add on, and we were very comfortable knowing that the girls had a lot of attention and were well taken care of. I even got pics/texts to update me!

This is the 2nd time I have used Country Lane for my 4 and 15 year old dogs and this is now the ONLY place I will take my pets when I travel, even though it is a 45 minute drive each way for me to take them there.  The "resort" is set back in a wooded area and actually looks more like a "retreat for pets" and is warm and inviting from the minute you arrive (as opposed to overwhelming and sterile like some of the more recent "mega pet resorts").
The resort is truly "all-inclusive" and play time and medication are included in the price your are given up-front.  You don't leave feeling like you have cheated your dog because you can only afford 1 play time and 1 extra potty break instead of 4 like the owner checking in in front of you.  All dogs are loved, exercised, taken outside to be relieved, and treated equally.
Twice when I have been gone on extended trips, I have emailed Randy for an update because one of my dogs is elderly and tends to refuse to eat and lose weight when I am out of town.  Randy has emailed me back with detailed and positive updates.  Whenever I return to pick up my pets, they are happy to see me, but not ecstatic, out of control, and wetting themselves like has happened as some other "resorts".  I take this as a sign that they are glad I am back, but did not feel neglected, abused, frightened, or scared while I was gone.  This tells me they are given lots of love and attention, and makes me feel less stressed about leaving my "pups" in their care.
It it well worth the drive to get to Country Lane if you are looking for individualized attention for your pets, and a group of people to care for them exactly as you want them to be cared for.

We have been taking our dog to New Beginnings for a year.  We adopted our dog from a shelter when she was six months old and we were apprehensive and concerned about some of her development and behavior she was exhibiting.  We found New Beginnings on the web and saw that they offered tours of their facility.  We were greeted by the friendly staff and then taken  on a complete tour of the facility by Gabby.  We were very impressed with the cleanliness, neatness and organization of every part of the facility.  Gabby and Kathy answered every question that we had and when we left we knew that our little dog would be in very good hands.  The feeling that we have at New Beginnings is that our dog is as happy there as she is when she is home.  She is excited to go and see Bree and play all day.  When boarding, Karen and her staff are sure to find out what makes my dog comfortable and her likes and dislikes.  New Beginnings provides more than just a place to drop my dog for a day or two.  It provides a place where I can feel very comfortable and confident that they always have my dogs best interest in mind and that she is very well taken care of.  We went through a training class and it was very evident that a lot of what we were learning in the training had already been worked on while she had been in Day Care.  Karen and her staff are the best and we thoroughly love the New Beginnings experience.

The service was exactly what I was looking for. My dog came
home well trained. The go-home sessions helped me be ready to work with him and
the polishing classes make it all even better. I would highly recommend. My dog
loved Virginia and the other workers. When we went back for a class he was so
excited to see them ? it was obvious he was treated well when he was there.

Wonderful job.  Dogs are soft and the coats look great.  The people are very friendly and obviously love dogs.  Felt completely comfortable leaving them there.  Will definitely go back.

When it comes to entrusting my three dogs to a boarding kennel, Country Lane Pet Resort is the only place I will take them.  I have been using and recommending Country Lane for a number of years. It's never easy leaving your family member while you're away, but Randy, Mary and the Country Lane staff treat your pets like they are a member of their family.  The facility is always beautifully  maintained and has a way of making both dogs and humans feel at home. The staff takes the time to know each dog and understand their personality and needs. Dogs are given ample time to run outside in secure, open areas.  The sleeping areas are very clean and secure.  When you pick up your pets, you always receive feedback on how they did during their stay.

I am a professional dog trainer and two of my dogs are trained for search and rescue, so I am very careful about who I entrust with my dog's care.  It's a relief to know I can leave town and know my dog's are in the best care possible. Thank you Randy and staff for your amazing work!

I have been boarding my dogs with Almost Home for several years now and wrote a report when I first boarded them. I just had another great experience and thought it was time to write another report. I had been embarrased about one of the dog's long nails and was surprised to find both their nails all clipped when I picked them up. I told Patty that even when muzzled, Ralph would try to nip me. She said she muzzled him, too, but had no problem at all. As usual, they looked health and happy and even had nice nails this time. I suggest to dog owners: don't think that your dogs care about the fountain in the entryway of a kennel. What they care about is having familiar faces and being taken care of by people who know how to handle dogs. Almost Home doesn't have the young kids working who come and go like some other kennels and the owners love the animals and keep an exceptionally clean facility.

Our dog has stayed anywhere from two to ten nights and each time we drop her off and pick her up she is quite happy. We especially like that all dogs are treated equally well at Country Lane unlike other places we considered where your dog is treated well only if you are willing to purchase things like walks, time outside, and treats. Instead of agonizing over how much we kindness we are willing to pay for each time we have to go out of town, at Country Lane we know she is going to be treated well at the fixed nightly rate. We are so happy that we drive about 40 minutes each way to Country Lane even though there are places just 7 minutes from our house.
