    Lawn Doctor Of Hardin County
I have a yearly contract with them. They come out 6-7 times a year with different treatments. The lawn looks great. They are very thorough. If I have questions, they will answer my questions.? Compared to some other services I have had, they do the job that they say they are going to do. They answer questions, if I have any. If there is anything I think they missed, they will come back around and redo it.

    Branham Yard Outfitters
We are trying to get some landscaping done for our home.  Since we are tight on money we asked for a different quote for each section of the house we were trying to complete.  Joshua Tree did that as well as an overall cost at a discount of doing each section individually.  They were very prompt in their responses.  Unfortunately for us, we came into some unexpected costs that caused us to not be able to move forward with the project.  We may still go back once we can afford it again, but were unable to at the time.  Other than that, the company was fantastic to work with.

We wanted to replace our wood deck with a stone paver patio and add a fire pit. Terry and his son were very responsive to what we wanted and very accommodating to all the changes and suggestions that were made. They are very friendly and easy to work with. Terry kept in touch with us and the entire project went very smooth. I will definitely use Terry again for my next project as soon as the wife lets me know what it is! We now have a much larger area to sit out and enjoy the backyard in and it is custom to us. Don't let the cost scare you off, for what terry did for us, it was well worth it.

Update 7/22/14. AS expected, no problems have developed, the work done is solid. The neighbors are raving about how good it looks.

    Smaagaard Construction
Both projects went exceptionally well. Ian Smaagaard was easy to work with. He arrived when he said he would (which is highly unusual for most contractors). He performed all work as stated in our agreement. He was straight forward and honest with any problems that arose. Ian worked with 84 Lumber to resolve the few issues which did arise which were not his fault. The deck project was the first of its kind in Hardin County. Each day Ian came prepared with a work schedule in mind and stuck to that schedule as much as possible. He was adaptable, as well, making changes and modifications that were unavoidable when necessary. Ian is a very patient person. Ian is honest, reliable and dependable! In addition, he takes pride in his work. He loves dogs as he had to constantly put up with my little Sam running around bothering him. His assistant, Mike, also was pleasant and capable. Both went out of their way to make the projects go smoothly. Our new deck, for the most part, is now maintenance free which was the main reason for the upgrade.
I would highly recommend Smaagaard Construction for any household project. He does quality work at a reasonable price. Most of all he is honest and reliable! Ian's wife, Kim, is a sweetheart, too!

There was only one guy that came down; he was good, reliable, and he did excellent work. They were very reasonable, quick, and efficient. I had a package deal; they had to start up the system and also pump out the system at the end of the year.

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 947
I initially contacted Scott's online requesting the free lawn analysis
in order to determine which services I needed to improve my landscape
    condition(s).  I received a phone call from a non-local representative
(Chicago) VERY promptly and was immediately provided an estimate
although no-one had ever visited my property to survey the conditions or
measure the property (it is my understanding that they charge by square
foot for lawn treatment).  The representative was VERY eager to have me
agree to contract for service and immediate payment but consistently
dodged my request to have the free lawn analysis fulfilled.
Ultimately, I was advised that someone would visit my property the
following week but no specific day or time.  No one called, no one
showed - I was home EVERY day ALL day.  I called the local Scott's in
Louisville that week to inquire as to when I may expect someone and was
told someone would visit the NEXT week although they had a service
person in my area THAT day which I requested to have visit THAT day -
they agreed.  Disappointment in the lack of knowledge and ability by the
technician (although he was very nice and I do not fault him at all for
following orders) is putting it kindly.  Even the technician did not
understand why he was sent to my home by his company.  He was clearly
ill-informed and ill-equipped to perform a lawn analysis due to his
inexperience with the company. I guess he was sent simply so they could
say SOMEONE showed up.  The technician admittedly could not even
identify crabgrass, poison ivy or poison sumac, all of which were major
concerns on my property.  I was also interested in the tree and shrub
service - he had NO knowledge of that service or treatment.  I was
advised that my interest in service would be reported to a manager and
that a "seasoned" technician would be visiting my home NEXT week.
After no additional contact from Scott's by the next week, I again
contacted them to inquire as to what day I could expect them - I was not
on the schedule for THIS week as I had expected to be after the first
technician visited.  This day, I was told it would be yet ANOTHER WEEK
LATER.  After complaining of delay after delay with no results, I was
assured that a "seasoned" technician would visit my property later THIS
day.  No one EVER showed up although I made arrangements to be home again ALL day with no phone call, no nothing to follow-up.
It is a real shame that a ready, willing and able consumer is practically
begging for services and getting nothing but empty promises and poor
business practices.  Apparently, customer-service is not even an afterthought for this "business".  I really like Scott's products, but unless and until this company attempts to EARN my business by following-up and following through, I have no interest in pursuing their service(s) any further.

    Ray's Tree Service
I love them. They are great. I was impressed. They did just like what they said they are going to and cleaned everything up. They did a good job and it was very difficult place to get into. They were here at the time they said they're going to be, gave me a time limit and they finished up within that amount of time. I could have gone lower with the price but I trusted them more than the other one.

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 5150
I pay them annually. I was coming home from work and was following a truck. It was a white truck and it said TruGreen. I didn't know what it was. I saw this guy with a big hose who was working on my neighbor's yard. I asked him what he was doing because I had never heard of TruGreen. I asked him to come by and give me an assessment of my property and see what he could do to get me started and that's how it happened. They are excellent.

They were great and wonderful.  They went right to work and worked all day long.  they cleaned up after they left and they were very nice.  I was not afraid to have them here and trusted them.
