    I had my son via scheduled c-section in 2011. I was so happy to leave the hospital, I was ready after just a day. The policy is that they don't take the baby to the nursery unless there is a problem. Luckily our son was healthy but I just had surgery and my husband and I were tired, just a few hours would have been wonderful. I also felt really really pressured to breast feed. I did want to do it but I felt so pushed into it that by the time I got home I gave up. It wasn't nice pressure either. Another issue I had with them was minor but annoying, they don't (or didn't at the time) have wipes. They have these little dry cloths that you can wet and use. When I asked a nurse why, if these were better than wipes and she said nope! They are just cheap! I really liked my doctor and they only deliver here so I may go back next time but if I had a choice I would go elsewhere.

    As far as all the doctors appointments I have had, Anthem has been sending me all the statements that I've needed, and through my work they have really made an effort to make sure we know about all the resources that Anthem has available in general and through their website (and I mean that the Anthem representatives have made the effort, not just my work HR department).
    When I called customer support with questions about how my coverage worked with the high deductible plan and the newly added co-pay, the representative that I spoke with was very thorough in making sure all my questions were answered. She really did a great job in helping me understand my coverage.
    I'm not very impressed with the amount of paper that Anthem sends (I know I can set-up to have paperless statements, but I haven't done that yet). They will wait a certain amount of time before sending statements so that they can send statements all at once if you have a bunch of services done close together. But those statements will not be combined together on one statement - it's a separate statement for every service. I have received very thick stacks of paper from them and it makes it harder to sort though and seems incredibly wasteful.

    went to family practice doctor who sent me to hospital...when I got to the emergency room I was quickly admitted and a doctor saw me immediately. ended up having a angiogram. Was released the next evening. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

    It was good as most hospitals, I really didn't get much satisfaction, they treated me but didn't diagnose it. I had to go to another doctor for that. The ER was good, I was there for quite some time and they admitted me. They did a pretty good job, they didn't really find out what it was but they did treat me and ease the pain. I had no problems because they treated me right away. I have insurance so I didn't really get a bill from them. I will use them again because I don't have much of a choice.

    I went there 4 different times and I saw 4 different doctors.  I was really impressed by each of them.  The office staff was amazing.  It is urgent care, so it is a step up from family care.  I had something where it wasn’t seriously enough to go to the emergency room, but at the time I needed to go to the doctor and it needed attention.  It was an urgent care situation.  I was supposed to get in each time when I went in and when I needed to go back two days afterward for follow-up, they told me that some of them were really busy at this time of the day.  I did not have to wait at all, their hours are really extended.  Their office environment is really nice.  I was really impressed with them.  They called and followed up to make sure how everything was going and told me what to expect and what to look for.  They were really good.

    They did the least amount of work they could possibly do. The billing clerk comes in when you are very sick and wants payment. They slack in their responsiveness. I was a nurse for 42 years so I know what they should have done. They did an xray and bloodwork. They didn't even do the correct bloodwork! They didn't do anything else, didn't even give an IV.

    My overall experience was very good. Everything was set before itself, as I had made a pre-registration and so, I went well ahead of time. Everybody was very good. They tell you everything in detail nowadays in the hospitals. They also ask you what you are doing about 15 times an hour to make sure that everything is done in the right way. They were very professional and everything was taken care of when I went in there. It was exactly like what I had expected. They got my surgery done and took me to the room. I am now trying to learn to walk again. Everything was performed very well and their service level was very good. I had some issues about the billing. I made sure that everything about my insurance was set well ahead of time. I wanted to make sure as to what was going to be covered. There is lot of about surgeries and more to others such as crutches, walker, some other equipment and other treatments that you have to do later. You also might have to do some therapies later on, but I had a couple of surprises when I was checking out on stuff that I was getting billed for and I didn't know about it. So, I wasn't very happy with the billing part. I would visit the hospital in the future too.

    I passed out due to kidney problems and was taken to the ER by ambulance. When I got there, the nurse was not very friendly. The ER was not busy at all so its not like she was too busy to give me decent care. She made me put on a hospital gown but then left my clothes and shoes at the end of the bed. She started my IV and it was very painful even after the IV was in (it shouldn't hurt after its in). When I was given liquid potassium to drink, I requested it be mixed with some kind of juice and the nurse was snotty and annoyed. I told her to try it, lol. I drank as much as I could and then she wrote in my chart that I refused to drink it unless it was mixed with juice. Have you ever tried liquid potassium?? Its impossible to drink without it being mixed with something!! Any nurse with a clue would know that. Even though the IV was started, they never infused any fluid, even though I was dehydrated. Shouldn't it be decided that they are going to infuse fluid before they start IV? I was sent home a few hours later since they pretty much had no clue how to treat me with my kidney disease. The doctor was nice, but not knowledgeable about my kidney disease and my kidney doctor was never contacted.

    They are taking care of my mother and the children were making the decisions on her health care. Some of the siblings did not agree with the care for their mom. The hospice nurse was called for a meeting and I felt her role in the meeting was improper and overdone. The meeting went bad and she didn't hear the request I was looking for. I feel the nurse needs training with the family issues. I was not happy with the outcome, as I had called the hospice nurse supervisor and asked for guidance to the nurses on this topic. I felt the supervisor did nothing with my request on providing proper training to the nursing staff on dealing with family meetings.

    Overall it has been very good. When my wife and I first went there we had an orientation and he spent a lot of time with us. He seems to know his stuff. He is careful to follow up on test results. He seems very capable and we have been happy so far.
