    Initially I was satisfied. This place was very clean and organized. Joe took the time to understand the problem and answer any of my questions. I thought it was fair that I was charged for several hours of work even though they did not find a solution to the problem. My opinion changed when I investigated the problem myself. I pulled the taillight sockets and immediately noticed they were burned. After replacing the sockets and the connecting wires the problem went away. The entire process took less than 90 minutes. I don't understand why the most obvious cause of the problem was overlooked and the mechanic spent 3 hours looking for other problems.

    I went to KY auto service to get new brakes and it was phenomenal service! Very welcoming and polite from the office workers to the mechanics they were all very nice and respectful. They got the job done quickly and efficiently.

    I was very happy with the service that a got with them. Super friendly and price was more than half what a dealer wanted. Bobbi in the office explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable with the shop doing the work.

    Within a week, not even a week of having my car, I had to spend $1200.00 to have something fixed on it. They're a little more costly, I think, than other places.  They split the cost on some of the repairs.  Technically, since I only had my car a week they should have paid all the cost for the tire rods.  They did respond to me, they didn't blow me off. This is the second car I've gotten through them and both times, within a week, we've had to have something replaced on them.  I would not use them again.  My mom had the same problem.

    I purchased one through them three years ago and it had transmission issues I had to pay to get fixed.  And after, every few months having to put money in it and it blew a gasket, I traded it in. I would tell people not to go there.  My mom first went and got her car and I went two days later and got my car.  My mom's car broke down.  So she had to pay that car off, plus buy a new car and put that together on one bill.  Then my van; I had it 4 days and the transmission went out in it.  Then they charged me $2000 for my transmission and I only had the thing three days.  Then I heard a knocking in it.  I took it back in and they said, no, no everything's fine.  So I took it someplace else and you know that anchor bar that's underneath your car, mine was broke in half.  It could have killed me and my kids.  These two times are the only times I've used them.  This times been better.  I got a newer car.  I went for a 2011, something with a lot less miles this time, hoping it would be a lot better.  Like I said, within a week I had issues.

    On Labor Day my car died as I pulled out of my house. I was sure it was my transmission, but due to the Holiday everywhere was closed. I called another local shop right when they opened at 8am the next day and was told they'd have to call me back because they had a line. After 30 minutes and no call back, I called Ernie's. They had a tow truck to my house within an hour to pick up my car. A few hours later they called me and let me know it was a broken axle, and not my transmission. The quote was $373.16 which included the tow. I gave them the go ahead and my car was fixed by 235pm, just 6 hours after I initially called them- the day after a holiday. My total was $365.71, a few dollars cheaper than quoted. They were extremely efficient, gave a fair price, and got the job done. The other place finally called me back after Ernie's was already working on my car. Ernie's has definitely gained a loyal customer!

    Called and the gentleman told me they would not tint on home. The man was oppositional and terse throughout our conversation. It was hard to understand how exactly they did business and about the tinting process. The conversation lasted 5 min and at the end he refused to service my cars or my house. I remained calm but he did not. It was odd. However, he did recommend a professional that could help with home installation.

    That was excellent. I would give it all A's as well. I would use them again. They were wonderful. In fact I had called there a couple months before I bought it and told him what I wanted and what I wanted to spend and they didn't have it. He said he would call me when they did and he did.

    I bought my care there so I have a [maintenance] package, so there was no charge. I would give them an A on everything. I like the convenience. You can drop it off if you want to or you can wait, not a long wait, and there's hours from morning through evening. I think their last appointment is like 8:00. I like that you can schedule online.

    We have three vehicles and they had some deferred maintenance. I've used this mechanic for probably 5 different things in the past several months to help catch up on these issues. The shop has been great. They do good work very quickly, and at a fair price. It's a bit out of the way, and the shop isn't much to look at, but that helps them keep their prices reasonable. Today they replaced the door lock latch assembly for two doors, repaired the rear window defroster, patched a tire, and replaced headlights. The price was $587, which I think is fair given the work done. Also, I like Bobbie, the woman running the shop, quite a bit. She is knowledgable, and is a straight shooter.
