    It went great. My wife and I were traveling from our home in Eddyville, KY to Paducah, KY in April of 2013 when we ran out of gas at I-24, exit 7. The vehicles gas tank had been filled the day before and we had only traveled about 90 miles so there obviously was something wrong in the fuel system. We were at a loss as to what to do so we contacted Mike Smith Toyota where we have our vehicle serviced regularly. Within minutes, the service department had deployed a tow truck and had our vehicle in for repairs which were performed the following day. In addition, the service department, knowing we were out of town, provided a loaner vehicle to complete the things we had planned on our trip to Paducah and to provide a means of returning to our home. The service department found that a rodent had chewed the gas line on our vehicle thus causing the loss of fuel in our vehicle. As indicated, we have our service work normally done at Mike Smith and the service provided has a always been superior.

    We have bought 4 trucks from this dealership. If you want to deal with an honest car dealer, this is the place to go; he looks and finds whatever discounts there are out there to save money for us when we purchased the truck. He does his homework. We will continue to use this dealership when we are in the market for a new car or truck.

    Their labor prices are kind of high. Even if I drive a car I keep it for 4-5 years. They are pretty good. When I probably do my next trade then I would probably end up going to them. I like them. I just know that some of the cars that they advertise it looked like they need my business. They will be the next person that would get my business. My mom had a call out, and they were good. It was my mom's office truck and now she actually saw him put maintenance in it. Eventually you have to put maintenance in the truck, but it will not last forever, but she didn't have any problem. When I have a call out I would like to deal with them, but I wouldn't really be looking for it.

    My husband bought a new car over a year ago and thought we had gotten a good deal. I took my mother to get a new Kia and not only did we wait for the sales manager for an hour, he walked in, said "what can we do to close this deal?" and did not want to negotiate price, color, anything in any way. He wanted her to sign for a car, site-unseen, in which we declined. Thoroughly shocked that the service on a weekday was worse than a Saturday morning. Their sales staff was friendly and apologetic, but didn't know enough about any of the vehicles to give many details. The sales manager then proceeded to what I assume was his office, leaned up against the wall and mouthed "can you believe this...". We were parked right in front of the window and I read lips due to my hearing.... I'm not saying do not go to this dealership, I'm just saying to not let yourself get pushed around. We ended up buying my mother a 2013 Sorento locally because the salesman worked hard to make my mother happy without pushing us into anything.

    Its was pretty normal, nothing to write home about. I received a recall notice so I called up Paducah Ford. They gave me an appointment date and time. I dropped the van off the night before appointment and later that day they called me to let me know it was ready to go. I have not had any issues with the van at all and the service dept did their job as expected.

    Scheduled oil change with emailed coupon. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment time. Oil change should be fairly short procedure but car was gone over and hour and a half. Service technician came out with a list of "suggested" services, most of which were based on odometer reading and had already been completed elsewhere. When went to cashier, the price charged was without the coupon discount. When I called their attention to it they changed to coupon discounted price. Shouldn't have had to point out problem to the correct price agreed to at time appointment made. I had the feeling they were out to extract the maximum possible revenue from me. I understand they are in business to make money but I prefer it when businesses at least try to appear they are willing to balance their interest with mine.
