    Dauenhauer Plumbing
Brandon was so prompt, professional and NICE! Replaced Kohler flapper with Kohler part. No service charge like other companys. They were able to get out next day and honored Angies List coupon! Amazing! Thank you Dauenhauer and Brandon for awesome work!

Sean has been my "go to" for several plumbing issues, and I've always been pleased. This last time was to repair a previous DIY job, which could have been embarrassing. It was not, and he had it fixed up in no time.

    Dauenhauer Plumbing
Very responsive company. We tried to fix the leak initially (we took that chance), but it did not work and ended up putting a whole new line in from the street. They were very professional, caused a minimal amount of mess (water lines make a mess) and let us know exactly what to expect. My reason for the B rating on cost is that they are not the cheapest, which you really don't want to hire for something as important as your plumbing. We did have issues on the second pass due to freezing temps which necessitated a 3 week delay, which was obviously not under their control. I would definitely recommend them again for major work like this. I have not used them for smaller jobs yet, but intend to call them with my future plumbing issues.

Tom Drexler Plumbing Air & Electric
Our technician, P.J. Hardin arrived early and ready to work. He carefully reviewed the work needed with me, provide alternates to job, then a written estimate. His work was carefully and professionally done, cleaned up his work area and explained how the piping was set up. All works. We will use this companys services again; they are not the cheap guy on the block, but gave excellent value for the cost.

    KENNY POWELL EXCAVATING
Called several plumbers, all were unavailable for at least a day. Kenny Powell was contacted and were out to the house within the hour. Work diligently carefully removing landscaping and making repair. Subsequently a second leak was detected further down the yard and was also fixed timely and professionally. Quick and dependable. Highly recommend and would use again.

    Griffin Plumbing & Piping Co
Nick ran his camera in about 3 feet and said it would not go further. Ran in from other end (clean out plug) and was able to go in only about 1 foot. He said that he would have to "snake" out the line but he did not have time to do it at that time. I ran a water hose from the clean out plug and was able to push it in about 10 feet. ran the water hose from inside the house and found no obstruction.

They came out and assed the problem. They fixed one problem in one bathroom and they thought they had it fixed and they realized it was another issue and they did not raise the cost. They are a really good company. I have used them for other needs.

Kinser & Kinser Inc Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing
Kinser & Kinser was able to schedule the appointment within two days for first call in the morning, which they said would be 8:00 am. They called just before 8:00 to say they were on their way and arrived about 8:15. George Mckinney, the lead plumber, and his assistant were very professional. They looked at the job and gave me a price, $375, that seemed reasonable. George said it was a fixed price for extending a gas line to a stove. I had priced out the parts and they came to about $150 or so at Home Depot. The only other estimate I received was $679 from Dauenhauer. The Dauenhauer plumber said that they didn't estimate jobs based on time and materials but on the job as a whole, or something like that, although he did say that the parts were about $300. George and his helper were done by about 10:45 am and did a nice job. I was very happy with the work. The only thing I wish Kinser & Kinser had done differently was to tell me when I called that they had a fixed price for the work I wanted done.

    Champion Waterproofing & Piering LLC
Met with Brian for an estimate. Got 2 other quotes, Champion was the least expensive so I chose them. Initially I was told it would be 2 weeks before they could do the work but an opening. Came up and they moved me up. They were very flexible and got work done in a timely manner.

    New Circle Mechanical NCM Services
Provider checked several things to come to the conclusion that he didn't know why the flames coming from the unit were so low.  He said it may be a valve, and since it was 2 p.m. it was too late to go to the parts shop and get a replacement, so we scheduled a follow-up. (I paid >$100 for this second visit as well.)  At the second service call, provider said he had done some research and didn't think it was the valve after all, that it must be the gas flow.  He checked a couple of pipes, turned the gas on and off, and said I needed to call the gas company.  Gas company came out and checked everything. Still no resolution to problem.  HERE is where it gets interesting.  The manager or owner of the company called me at work the following Monday to remind me that I needed to call the gas company.  I  explained that I was out over $200 to his company AND a visit by the gas company and still no improvement in the fireplace.   At that point, he became defensive and told me I had a sub-standard fireplace unit and accused me of rigging a unit to try to create a fireplace and ...  At that point I cut him off and reminded him that he had cashed two checks and had a service technician come out twice, so if his argument was that I had substandard equipment, they could have pointed that out before they 1) cashed my checks, 2) wasted my time, 3) had me contact the gas company.  The working fireplace, by the way, was installed prior to my purchase of the house and like I said, it works. I told him I had no doubt NCM had ripped me off.  At that time, the manager/owner said (QUOTE), "YOU took advantage of us." I asked him to repeat himself, which he did, saying that I had purchased an Angie's List coupon for a tune-up service, when instead I needed a repair. He said, "We have to pay for those coupons!"  It's been years since I've experienced customer service that bad.  If they couldn't improve the look of the flames, so be it.  But to call me at work, interrupt my day with a reminder that they had cashed my checks and not solved my fireplace problem, and then blame me, the customer, for their inability to do their job?  Unreal.  I will never do business with them again and I hope this review prevents others from being taken advantage of.
