Ryan was very reasonably priced, had excellent follow through during construction, and completed the job ahead of schedule. He took our vague ideas, offered sound advice and solutions, and communicated an extraordinary attention to detail throughout the design and building phases. Our office built-ins are solid, attractive, and exactly what we needed.

    ASHLEY FURNITURE HOME STORE

    The day the sofa and love seat came, the delivery guys were nice, and very quickly put the furniture in place.  They briefly tried the sofa and love seat to be sure the reclining was working.  It seemed fine.  I went back to work, and when I got home the sofa wouldn't recline at all.  I called right away and left a voice mail that we had a problem.  Well, 5 phone calls later, (within 3 days) and they still didn't have a record that I had called!  They even gave me a "code" for a manager to call me back.  No manager ever did call me back.  Plus, the sofa is higher on one side than the other, which is nonsense for brand new furniture.

    Anyway, I made so many phone calls, and interestingly enough, when you call the number for the receipt from the store, you NEVER reach the store, rather, folks in other states.   There is no calling the store after you pay and get your furniture.  It is a disgrace.  This was the third and last living room set I will ever buy from Ashley.

    After many phone calls, and my disgust, they finally send someone to fix the sofa.  He was able to get the sofa working, but it is still not in line, meaning the right side sits a clear 2" higher than the left side.  It is noticeable and I hate it.

    And, the fellow who came doesn't work for Ashley, nor do the delivery folks, nor do the folks that arrange the repairs, so no one takes any responsibility for anything that is wrong or goes wrong.  And they all tell you the same thing:  "everybody who buys from Ashley has problems".

    I am done with them!  Do NOT buy anything from them, and if you do, keep your fingers crossed that nothing is wrong, or you will have a month long nightmare of making daily calls to see if anyone is doing anything to resolve.  And they don't give a hoot if you are satisfied or not.

    Our daughter's crib was damaged in a move and Weathersby Guild was contacted by our moving company to make the repairs. The owner, Jeff Walton, showed up the next business day to a**** the damages. While still at my home he contacted the moving company with his report and took the broken crib all within in one hour. He repaired the crib and had it back to us a few days later as promised. We could not tell where the damage was at on the crib and this is impressive because one side of the crib had been snapped in half. When we reassembled the crib we couldn't even tell which piece was the damaged piece. I was so impressed that I asked for a quote on several other pieces that we need work and I plan to use Weahterby Guild for these repairs in the near future.

    Very disappointed the co-owner of Mattress and More lied to us several times! Did not expect that out of a co-owner. I could understand if it was one of there salesman. Buyer beware!! Always get everything in writing!! We were shopping for a mattress to replace our 13yr old Springair pillowtop set. We looked at the top sleep number beds and many more and was about to make a decision but wanted to look at this stores inventory to compare. We stopped in another mattress and more location and the salesman was very helpful and non pressure. He mentioned we should try this Dr Breus bed that was made by a sleep doctor. It was similar to a tempurpedic and didn't have any springs, only latex and foam material. The dispaly ad said as seen on Dr. Oz show. My husband liked it but I wanted to do some research on it first before spending 2200.00 for a new mattress set. We thanked the salesman and left. I did research and found out that only Mattress and More carried the Dr Breus bed in our area as exclusive seller and we couldnt shop other stores for prices on that mattress. During my research I found there is an outlet center for Mattress and More on Taylorsville Rd. I also seen on there site that they have a 10% off coupon but you have to print it out and take it in at the time of purchase. We were going out to dinner and was in area where the outlet center on Taylorsville rd was and since it was close we stopped in to see if they had any bargains. We were greeted by the co-owner. Hedgie and the store was a lot smaller than the other store we had visited the week before. I asked where the discount mattress's were and he pointed to a few Sterns and Foster at the front but said they would not have a warranty. My husband tried out a few and then went to the Dr Breus beds and again liked them. I told Hedgie that I seen online they had a 10% coupon but I didn't plan on buying today and didn't bring it. He said well if you say it is on our website I will honor that if you buy today. Also the website says free delivery on mattress. So we decided to go ahead and do the purchase. We only bought the mattress not the box spring but we priced the set at the other store at 2209.00. It was late and we were tired and had my mother waiting in the vehicle so kind of in a hurry. He only worked up price on a computer not in writing and told me the amount to write the check out for. We did the paperwork and he added a mattress pad protector to the bill to maintain the warranty and I wrote out a check. He said it would be delivered in several days. We left the store and went to a local restaurant for dinner. I looked at the receipt and noticed we did not get the 10% off and was charged a delivery fee also! I wanted to drive back to mattress and more but my mom was tired and hungry so we decided to go eat dinner and then stop by store in an hour on way home. When we stopped by the store there was a sign on the door saying went to the bank be back soon. The store was locked. We were surprised and I called my bank to see if I could put a stop payment on the check. They told me yes and even if check was deposited I could call by noon the next day and still stop payment with no worries. This was about 630pm. I thought I would leave Hedgie a message and see if he would correct or credit our bill and if not i would put a stop payment on check. I called his cell and left a message. A few hours later he called my cell and left a message appologizing and said he would of caught it the next morning. Not to worry corporate office would send us out a refund in 7 -10 days and said the refund would be 235.00 including the 40.00 delivery charge. The next morning early he called me again to say the same thing and I spoke to him. I was ready to put a stop payment on my check at a cost of 30.00 and have him redo our bill to reflect the discount but after he reassured me again that corporate would send us a check in the mail in 7-10 days for the amount I took his word because he was a co-owner!! Needless to say after endless calls and no check a month later I finally asked him to delivery us a low profile box sping in leu of the CASH refund, thinking the box spring was 200.00 but something is better than nothing. He agreed and told me he had to order it and for me to call him back the following week. This went on for several weeks. Each week telling me it hadn't come in and to call back that Friday. I finally called another store and asked a salesman if I wanted to buy this Dr Breus bed do you stock them or have to special order? He said we have them in our warehouse and can get one out the next day!! I knew then that i had been had and was being put off til I would get tired of calling about refund and or box spring in leu of refund!!! I'm in sales and gave this guy the benefit of doubt and he blew it. I never called him back to yell or go off on him over the phone. I figure Angies list is word of mouth and the negative review will be enough. (I may call him to tell him I posted a review on Angies of my experience). In fairness to the other salesman at a different location I spoke to, he was so nice and helpful over the phone and told me that if I wanted an adjustable bed base that most insurance company's will pay for them!! I told him I would contact our insurance company and see. Thanked him for information. I was very impressed with salesmans knowledge and passion for his job and the company he worked for!! Sure enough our insurance company will with a doctors written request. So that information was worth a million!! Night and day difference from the service I didn't get from the co-owner! I wished I had dealt with this awesome salesman that worked on commission rather than the co-owner!! He got out of paying a salesman a commission cause he sold mattress to us and then lied about giving us a refund in mail and also box spring in leu of refund and kept lieing about it not coming in yet!! I'm a sales professional myself and in business many years and have always kept my word. If you deal with this company, make sure you do NOT ever deal with Hedgie a co-owner!! No service and all lies!! Get everything in writing before walking out the door. The warranty is worthless too because they charge a restock fee of 500.00 or 20% of purchase price if you decide in 60 days you want to swap mattress for another type if you can't adjust to new mattress. Buyer beware! I could of pursued this and got nasty with the co-owner but decided to post here instead to let others know. We will purchase an adjustable base elsewhere and have our insurance pay for it thanks to the information the other saleman offered me over the phone!! Mattress and More will loose that sale!! They are about 1200.00 to 1600.00. The co-owner could of mentioned that to us and made an additional sale if he was helpful and knowledgable like his one saleman!! What a shame!

    I have always loved the west and everything that comes with it. Since I live in Kentucky, I wanted to make my cabin at the lake as western looking as possible. I thought what better way than to have authentic Aspen furniture from the Rocky Mountains. I've seen number of homemade aspen furniture in Colorado and surrounding areas but I believe Kyle Ostrand to be one of the best. Kyle builds his furniture out of dead standing Aspen trees, he personally cuts and handcrafts them into beautiful furniture. As a Carpenter/ Contractor in Kentucky I know quality when I see it. The average person may not be able to tell a big difference between the many different furniture makers but if you take a closer look you will see. Some things I noticed that set Kyle's furniture apart are his creativity and craftsmanship are outstanding. The drawers are made of solid pine with 3/4 plywood bottoms. You can literally stand in the drawers of our dresser. He doesn't use the cheap drawer slides like most people. He uses 100 lb drawer slides that will easily last a lifetime. The entire bed, and all sides of the furniture are sanded to a smooth finish. There are no rough edges other than an elk rub or two. The drawer fronts are cut out of one huge piece of wood that appears to be cut out with a jig saw in to two pieces... so the grain of the wood matches along the entire front of the drawers. He finished the furniture with a danish oil and some type of lacquer on the tops of the dresser. I have been more than satisfied with the furniture. Every visitor that comes through our house is amazed at the majesty of our bedroom set. Thanks to Kyle we have the most beautiful Aspen furniture east of the Mississippi.
