House Painting reviews in Crestwood

    Bloomington Painting and Cleaning LLC
When I relocated from Indiana, these guys were such a blessing. They helped with everything in my home top to bottom from the move, to the cleaning, to the painting, and even more. I cannot recommend them enough! As an older lady, let me tell you, it is not easy to do this labor. It was well worth paying them to handle it all for me! I wanted a neutral color on the walls so my home would sell easier, and they made it beautiful. I have never seen a refrigerator so clean either!

No complaints! Planning to have them come out again to do more work on other window frames and various trim around the exterior of our house. Fair price, great follow-up. Looking forward to working with them again.

    Briteway Painting
Everything went fine with them. They were easy to access and quick response. They were reasonably priced. There is basically 2 people; there is the owner who really does do the work...well, not with me and then they have people that do the work for them who did the work at my house. They could have been a little bit neater in their procedure.

    Briteway Painting
The painters arrived promptly each day.  They worked efficiently and professionally.  This is the second time we have used Briteway Painting and plan to use them again.  Mick responded quickly to our call for an estimate.

    Briteway Painting
Based on the Angie's List reviews I had better expectations of Briteway painting. The work on my house was done by 2 workers that were sub-contracted to Briteway. They did all of the work. The female spoke no English. They were not aware of the total scope of the work and I would estimate the wood repair of my window sills as average at best. The house's vinyl siding and wood trim was to be power washed, the wood trim to be primed and painted with two coats. It was power washed. Some spots on the vinyl siding were missed. I think That I got two coats of paint, but the way the work was performed I'm not totally sure. Communication was difficult because of a language barrier. My biggest disappointment has been the lack of communication from Mick. A nice guy. He was very responsive during the contract negotiation but I had to call him to get any information after the down payment was made. He stopped by once for about 10 minutes to check on the work. And that's it. There has been no follow up communication from Briteway painting. No call to see if we were satisfied. No call to say thank you. Nothing. That's disappointing to me. Will I recommend Briteway Painting? No. Their work doesn't give me any reason to. Will I hire them again? Probably not. They weren't terrible but I didn't get what I was expecting. This was the 3rd time I have had the house painted so I know what's involved and what to expect. That's not what I got from Briteway painting.

Mark showed up on time to give the estimate. The quote was reasonable. The reading materials he left us were very helpful, detailed, and professional. Mark was very approachable, friendly and helpful. The work crew was very friendly and worked diligently. The final product is very impressive.

    CertaPro Painters of Louisville KY
CertaPro Painters did an excellent job.  They were efficient, organized and completed the work in a timely manner.  Dean Johns (owner) introduced me to the supervisor on the job and he kept me informed on a daily basis.  The house needed some wood repair before painting and Dean Johns arranged for the completion of this work prior to painting.  The work staff was courteous, knowledgeable and very well organized.  Supplies arrived the day before painting began and were kept neat and secured in the side yard.  The day of completion all supplies were removed and there was no evidence that the painters were even there.  Thank you again CertaPro.  I'm sure I will use you again.

They were very prompt at coming out when I first called them in April. Their estimate was reasonable for the work that they provided. They did a great job painting my deck. Due to all the rain they ran behind and it was a little frustrating because they would not answer the phones during this time. They ended up coming out a couple months later. They did all three coats in one day even though it was supposed to take three days. However they were very professional while doing the job.

    Painting The Town
The entire experience from quote to job completion was pleasant and without issue.

Skip arrived for the quote on time and in painters attire, and works each job with his crew. He doesnt quote jobs and sub them to the lowest bidder, he and his crew work diligently day in and day out doing what they do best, beautifying homes!

We scheduled the work with Robin, Skips attentive wife who runs the back office at Painting the Town. She is email savvy, and responds to messages at all hours of the day and night, to include weekends. The guys were scheduled to start at 8am, and were on time or early every single day. its rare to see a contractor this punctual, but we found it with Skip and his crew.

The work started out in various areas of the home, some guys painting trim and walls, while others identifying various nail pops and settling cracks that needed attention prior to painting. NOTE - Skip and his guys do NOT just quickly spackle in cracks or nail pops. Rather, they take the time to actually dig out, tape, and mud these issues so they do not reappear 3 months after the job is completed. This level of attention to detail blew my mind, and paid dividends in the end with flawless walls, no cracks, and an expert paint job that should last for some time. Another note, I was simply amazed at how Skip and his guys produce razor sharp edges between trim color and wall color, and wall color and ceiling color, all without the use of painting tape. These guys edge by hand, and are really darn good at what they do.

Part way through the job, we threw Skip and his crew a curveball by moving in ahead of schedule! They took this in stride, gave us a few days to get into the property, and returned ready to knock out the job while avoiding our belongings. These guys were extra careful in my home, covering everything and anything with drop cloths to ensure our floor or belongings didnt catch a stray drop of paint. They treated my home as if it was their own, ensuring they didnt mark the hardwood flooring, walls or damage any furniture.

The experience with the exterior work was no different. Skip and his crew arrived like clockwork every day at 8am or before, and put in multiple full days of stripping, sanding, scraping and painting the exterior pieces of the home that needed attention. Skip had a mission - he was going to revive a set of mahogany doors that were severely damaged by abuse from the sun. Skip stripped, sanded, prepped, stained and varnished this door and made them look like new. The before and after photos of this door are absolutely shocking, since I was fully expecting this door to be unsalvageable.

Skip, Robin, Robert, Bill and the rest of Skips team are all fantastic, and were an absolute pleasure to deal with! The guys are friendly, punctual craftsmen who really focus on attention to detail, and doing the job right the first time.

They were always prompt and courteous. Their overall work was very good. We called them after the work was completed when we saw a few minor things not done, and they came back and corrected any/all issues. We were very pleased!
