Foundation Repair reviews in Crestview Hills

Excellent. They showed us the problems with the previous companies work and how their solution would fix our problem not requiring expensive outside excavations. They showed up on Monday morning and by the next afternoon were completely finished. The work team was professional, courteous, and worked like warriors. Could not be more pleased at this point.

Steve is professional does a great job and I never have to worry about the quality of work. It provides a lifetime warranty which you can trust. I've used Steve on a couple projects and I can say without a doubt he is the best foundation guy out there

After bragging on Danny and Aquaproof to an architect we were working with today, I decided to drop by and do a follow-up review on the work that was done 5 years ago in March 2013. We had catastrophic basement issues and Danny and his team did incredible work with a creative solution. Knock on wood (concrete?), not one time since 2013 has a drop of water gotten in and we could not be happier. We have had some very wet springs in our area in recent years and it has held up great. We were given a lifetime warranty (even if we move, it goes to the new owners) which gave us a lot of confidence prior to the job. Two different friends have had their basements "repaired" by some more high profile companies, only to have both of their basements have to be redone due to leaking after the jobs were complete. I really cannot recommend Danny and Aquaproof highly enough! Again, I am writing this 5 years after our job was completed. Excellent communication (if Danny was going to be even 15 minutes late, he would call -- but he was always punctual) and customer service. This actually was the highest bid of all the quotes we got but we've never regretted going with Aquaproof. Most certainly a case of getting what you pay for!

As a rule of thumb, I usually find that people who put their own name in the company name do the best work and this is no exception! Stan correctly assessed that our basement water leak was due to a crack in our foundation and quoted $400 to fix it. So he and his team came out after we remove the drywall and sealed it up. We left the drywall open for about two months and we had some heavy rains during that time. So far, so good and we reinstalled the drywall. He's going to be installing a french drain in our back yard soon too.

We had two companies bid the work. The first was a well known local "concrete lifting" company whose price was about $3,000 more. Fadi and his son Sam were great to work with through the entire process. Sam came out the day before to measure the height and the work was completed the next day in about 4 hours. They even took the time to cover our washer/dryer in plastic to keep dust off of them.

I called Jack Boiman Sons and Daughters because of past jobs they had done for me on another foundation. I was very impressed by their past work and knew that I could depend on the same quality of workmanship. An estimator, Douge, came out and gave me a quote. I had a crack in my foundation from the top of where the earth meets the foundation to half way down the wall. The rep explained that the insulation board would have to be removed; the crack chiseled out; a membrane installed to direct the water from the crack down to a spot below the foundation where the water would then flow, and the floor resealed. It sounded like a lot of work to me, but the rep said it would have been better to have two leaks because it was such a small job that for the minimum he had to charge me he could have done two cracks that size. I was impressed! The only bad part of the whole affair was that my work was such a small job I was told that Jack Boiman Sons and Daughters couldn't give me a definite day to complete the job and it was a half days work that they would do on a slow day between major jobs, and they had work scheduled months out. True to their word they did call a month or so later, came out and did the job. The guys were very courteous and didn't mind me watching what was going on. They also did a great clean up of the job site.

Once the weather warmed up a call was received that the crew would be there by 10 AM on 1/27/16. They arrived on time. Again explained everything they were going to do in detail and immediately went to work. A lot of trenching caused a lot of dirt. They kept the entire evacuation under control and even power washed the sidewalks and lower patio to remove any mud from the trenching or the workers needing to step on the walks and/or patio. I would not hesitate to use Stan and his crew again and personally highly recommend them for any of your drainage problems.

Steve (represenative) came to house and provided a full inspection of the basement and inspected areas where I had some cracks and water damage. Steve provided insightful alternatives to resolve the issue prior to resorting ot more costly measures. I appreciate Steve's honesty and the low cost alternatives he provided to resolve the issue. I would highly recommend this company and Steve to any others interested.

I needed to have some cracks in my foundation inspected and scheduled a visit with Aquaproof after reading many positive reviews on here. The day of the inspection came and I experienced a medical emergency and was not able to meet the inspector at my house. Normally I am very respectful of other peoples time but on this day I was sitting in an emergency room of a hospital and my mind wasn't on an appointment I was about to miss. As I got home the next day I found several messages from James at Aquaproof all sounding very annoyed that I was not home . His last message he made sure to talk down to me and tell me how rude it was for me to waste his time and gas by having to come out to my house and me not be there to meet him. Well sorry I was at the hospital James seems my priorities are out of whack. I mean really what a jerk I am. If you read through other reviews for this company you will see other mention having VERY negative experiences with James from Aquaproof. He was rude and one of the most UNPROFFESSIONAL people I have ever met. I called the office and asked to speak with the manager so I could let them know that someone like James is out there representing their company in a negative light. After going through the story and expressing how disappointed I was, she then went on to defend James and say its aggravating when people don't show up for their appointments. Well that was a "no duh" moment and I told her I completely understand, however in a service industry you should never take out your frustrations on potential customers. After pretty much blowing off my concerns she then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule.......ummm no thank you. I hope others have a better experience then I did but if you have the bad luck to have to interact with James you have my sympathy.

We had a MAJOR project that had been deteriorating for many years. Finally, it was time that it had to be addressed. One corner of our house was sinking and needed piers installed to raise it back up. Also, the block retaining wall to the basement stairwell was crumbling and caving in and we wanted it replaced with a new poured concrete wall. We also wanted a nice stamped concrete patio out back. We probably interviewed and got estimates from 8 or 9 different foundation repair companies. Only a few of them were capable of doing both the piering and the concrete work.

Mike Robinson was the representative from Basement Restorations that came out to evaluate our situation. He made us feel 100% confident that they could tackle all of this project themselves which is exactly what we were looking for. Before preparing an estimate for us Mike brought Joe Grooms to double check a few specifics of the project. Joe is the crew foreman who's team would be doing the work. We also got a great feeling from Joe and knew we would be choosing them to fix our house.

We had done extensive research on the different types of piers on the market and Basement Restorations was the only one who uses Stabil-Loc piers. Stabil-Loc piers go directly under the load of the foundation. Some other company's piers actually bolt to the side of the footer which puts unnecessary stress on the footer. The Stabil-Locs are more labor intensive to install but I feel they are the ONLY way to fix it right. Also, Basement Restorations give a lifetime guarantee on them that is transferable if you sell your house.

The project took about 2 weeks to complete and we couldn't be happier with the results. The crew was professional, hard-working, and obviously very experienced. Joe, Wade, Jamie, Dustin (and all the guys whose names I didn't catch) did an awesome job! Thank you!

Our foundation was raised and stabilized. We have a new rebar reinforced poured concrete retaining wall at the basement stairwell and an absolutely gorgeous stamped concrete patio! These guys went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied before calling the job complete. When we paid them the bill was exactly what was originally quoted down to the penny! No surprises.

I can't say enough good things about Basement Restorations. If you need foundation or basement work done, be sure to call this company first!
