We've been extremely happy with Professional Pet Nanny. They have been very professional setting up our visits and it is very easy through the website. The owner is very hands on as well. She has taken the time to talk with us to understand our dog sitting needs. The pet nanny leaves a note after each visit detailing what happened on the pet visit. We even get a text update after the visit which is nice so you know how your pet is doing while you are away. You can tell the pet nannies really love their job and care about your pet. They also help with reinforcing training if you let them know what your pet needs to work on (i.e., no leash pulling, sitting, etc.).

It was awesome! Above and beyond what any "normal" kennel would offer. You don't have to pay for every extra and add on, and we were very comfortable knowing that the girls had a lot of attention and were well taken care of. I even got pics/texts to update me!

I have been going to this Vet for many years with multiple pets- 2 dogs & 5 cats- and have been pleased with the care.  The reason I gave a C for responsiveness was because I called on a Sat a.m. requesting an appointment for my 18 year old cat who was urinating blood.  The staff member who answered the phone told me they were booked and could not see him, but would see him on Monday.  I ended up going to another local Vet, Crescent Springs Animal Clinic, where staff were very happy to fit me in that day, saying "we always try to get a sick animal in".  I feel that when an animal is acutely ill and your Vet clinic is open, they should try to fit them in.  I did not think this was something that should wait until Monday.  Aside from this, Dr. Golatzki and assistant Amy are both very caring and empathetic people who take their time with you and put your pet at ease.

This is the 2nd time I have used Country Lane for my 4 and 15 year old dogs and this is now the ONLY place I will take my pets when I travel, even though it is a 45 minute drive each way for me to take them there.  The "resort" is set back in a wooded area and actually looks more like a "retreat for pets" and is warm and inviting from the minute you arrive (as opposed to overwhelming and sterile like some of the more recent "mega pet resorts").
The resort is truly "all-inclusive" and play time and medication are included in the price your are given up-front.  You don't leave feeling like you have cheated your dog because you can only afford 1 play time and 1 extra potty break instead of 4 like the owner checking in in front of you.  All dogs are loved, exercised, taken outside to be relieved, and treated equally.
Twice when I have been gone on extended trips, I have emailed Randy for an update because one of my dogs is elderly and tends to refuse to eat and lose weight when I am out of town.  Randy has emailed me back with detailed and positive updates.  Whenever I return to pick up my pets, they are happy to see me, but not ecstatic, out of control, and wetting themselves like has happened as some other "resorts".  I take this as a sign that they are glad I am back, but did not feel neglected, abused, frightened, or scared while I was gone.  This tells me they are given lots of love and attention, and makes me feel less stressed about leaving my "pups" in their care.
It it well worth the drive to get to Country Lane if you are looking for individualized attention for your pets, and a group of people to care for them exactly as you want them to be cared for.

We have been taking our dog to New Beginnings for a year.  We adopted our dog from a shelter when she was six months old and we were apprehensive and concerned about some of her development and behavior she was exhibiting.  We found New Beginnings on the web and saw that they offered tours of their facility.  We were greeted by the friendly staff and then taken  on a complete tour of the facility by Gabby.  We were very impressed with the cleanliness, neatness and organization of every part of the facility.  Gabby and Kathy answered every question that we had and when we left we knew that our little dog would be in very good hands.  The feeling that we have at New Beginnings is that our dog is as happy there as she is when she is home.  She is excited to go and see Bree and play all day.  When boarding, Karen and her staff are sure to find out what makes my dog comfortable and her likes and dislikes.  New Beginnings provides more than just a place to drop my dog for a day or two.  It provides a place where I can feel very comfortable and confident that they always have my dogs best interest in mind and that she is very well taken care of.  We went through a training class and it was very evident that a lot of what we were learning in the training had already been worked on while she had been in Day Care.  Karen and her staff are the best and we thoroughly love the New Beginnings experience.

Uneventful surgury.  In first two visits, leg was examined and procedure was explained.  Leg was x-rayed at 2nd visit.  I thought the efforts made to explain and reassure me were very good.  I then took her in for the surgury and left her.  I got updates on her condition afterwards, along with an invitation to call anytime to check.  When I picked her up, the discharge instructions were clear, but again was told to call with any questions, which I did do.  There was a follow up visit within a week (or 2?), then in 6 weeks to remove stitches and take x-rays to check on healing progress.
Location was easy to find, facility was clean and appealing and staff was very friendly and helpful.
An additional note:  this is not just an emergency clinic.  It is also a specialists office, which is how I used it.

My dog has a sensitive stomach so I had to buy expensive food plus medications. The vet also corrected a few other issues including a pulled muscle. I liked the vet a lot. I appreciated that my dog was a new patient and they were able to fit him in within a day.

When we first called they were not able to get her in for I believe three weeks. We had the doctors email address from before and had email her told us to call back and this was a revisit not a new patient and they got us in that Monday. Both times I have been please with the service except for minor thing this last time I had to wait an extra twenty minutes to check out the assistant had taken another patient first before coming to see me for instructions that the doctor told me was going to check on just to give her about five minutes. Dr. Schwartz is a wonderful doctor I would recommend her to animal owner.

Bottom line, if you're overly concerned about upfront cost, try some place else. If your primary concern is ensuring that your pet receives the best care possible, then go to Towne Square. Unlike other vets in town, Dr. Zekoff seems to stay up-to-date on
the latest advancements and research in veterinary medicine. My dog was sick for months and he's the only vet that recognized that my dog had a unusual parasitic infection. Other vets just kept prescribing antibiotics, some in potentially dangerous combinations, and didn't even bother to run the appropriate lab tests. One vet prescribed a dangerous combination of antibiotics and the package insert for one stated that it should only be prescribed as a last resort given its high propensity to lead to antibiotic resistance (and the dog didn't even have a bacterial infection!) and it should never be used in combination. I referred a colleague of mine to Dr. Z as a last resort for his dog that hadn't been eating for months and was wasting away. His previous vet just kept prescribing more and more Rimadyl for arthritis the dog didn't even have. Dr. Z immediately recognized that the dog had severe dental issues and basically saved the dog's life as my colleague was very close to putting the dog out of his misery. It's 4 years later and the dog is happy and healthy thanks to Towne Sq. You know the old saying, you get what you pay for. Sure, it might be a bit more expensive upfront but ultimately I feel I save more money going to Towne Square because I get the right diagnosis the first time around, rather than paying repeatedly for months of misdiagnosis that could potentially be fatal. Dr. Z cares tremendously about animals and takes his job very seriously. He doesn't just rush in and out during visits, he takes his time thoroughly examining the animal and getting a complete picture of its medical history. His concern for animal health is further evident in the newsletters we receive routinely that are chock full of information and must take him a significant amount of time to write. Additionally he runs the non-profit United Pet Fund.
