  • came early to see if they needed to update the insurance forms since I normally see them twice a year. All records were same, so no updating needed. I was sent back early to get my general vision checked and found out that the last visit proved that my test results were normal for the optical test on my optic nerve and pereferial vision areas. So no new testing done on that. I was told that I woudl probably not be tested on my optic nerve and perferial vision again until next year as a result of them being normal this last visit. this visit on the 13th and the one scheduled in october 2012 would be dialation test only. Test went very well, was easy to do. Dr. Thon is my eye doctor and he is very good with children since he has two grown children of his own. Very easy to talk to and relate what has happend since last visit. He can tell you what to expect based on age and previous visits done for the next appt.

  • I have no complaints about them. This place happened to be more convenient. I basically walked in there and got everything done and maybe at any other given time you might have to make an appointment two or three months ahead. The convenience worked out and I don't have any problems. My mom has macular degeneration and she is almost 60 and I know I am going to have issues that I would have to go back to them for but right now it is fine. When you go in there you want to see good doctors. My family has used them for long. It is the trust factor and they are a pretty big outfit. There is no problem with the insurance it is mostly the timing of the availability and that is the only downside. The physician I had was Dr Jean Noll but she was not the founding father of it and there are a lot of different ones there too. There is a wait sometimes because they are so busy. The office environment is nice. If you do have a problem or emergency they do get you in which contributes to your wait. If you have an emergency they like you to call up. I had no problem with the billing because my insurance was co-pay.

  • I arrived at my appointment on schedule. I had to wait a little longer than I expected in the waiting room before being called back. Once I was settled into the exam room, Dr. Cepela's nurse arrived promptly to fill out the initial paperwork. His nurse was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Cepela arrived shortly thereafter. He was extremely informative, describing all the details of the procedure. He allowed me ample opportunity to ask any questions I had, and answered these questions at length. I will be scheduling a visit for a vision screening, and will hopefully be scheduling the surgery late summer.
