Great! He gave me suggestions for choosing the fabric. He was on time to pick up the bench and had a great suggestion for improvements. Returned a week later with the finished bench. I'm very pleased with his work.

He did an amazing job.  The piece was originally purchased for my aunt and mother in the early 50's, so it had some real sentimental value, as well as being a really nice piece of furniture.  My brother and I used it over many years in college and grad school, and amazingly it survived.  Joe restored it to its original glory.  His attention to detail was amazing.  Truth be told, Joe is an artist, and he treated my furniture like a work of art.  It wasn't cheap to have it done, but it was done to perfection and the price was worth it.

Overall great experience. Michael from Northern Kentucky Upholstery is very knowledgeable, highly skilled and extremely accommodating. He responded quickly to phone calls and emails, mailed leather samples to my house and brought over upholstery books. The chair was picked up from my house and delivered when finished. It was difficult to find an upholsterer in the area with documented experience working with leather. I chose Northern Kentucky Upholstery based on images of Michael's past projects for both furniture and boat upholstery. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The job was not as simple as slinging fabric over a chair and stapling and Michael's skill level can truly be seen in the detailed, decorative stitching of the leather seams. There is also added comfort in knowing what's in the chair. I appreciate the use of time-period/traditional materials rather than flame-retardant soaked foam. All-in-all, I highly recommend Northern Kentucky Upholstery and intend to use them again in the future.

My overall experience with this company was nothing short of fantastic!! Not only were they able to accommodate my crazy timeline and come the next day after calling but they also called early in the morning to ask if they could come early! Of course I was more than okay with that since it would allow my day of unpacking to go smoother. The 3 gentlemen arrived around 10:30 and got straight to work, even moving the truck (my husband was at work and I was not familiar with moving a 26' Uhaul) to help unload. Through the time, they continuously asked where I would like items, placed them properly in the rooms, were polite and very nice and gentle with ALL our furniture, even bringing to my attention some of the scratches the previous movers had caused in the unproper loading of the truck from our departure city. Now I know that they were a piano company as well which is why I had called them in the first place to make sure my grandmother's antique piano was properly unloading and brought into my new house. Let me say that they did an outstanding, respectable job with the piano! Compared to the other company who loaded it recklessly, I was blown away by the care these men took with it! They even asked me throughout if there were any specific boxes that needed moved into the house (I had requested them to place most boxes in the garage in order to help go through them easier) that were especially heavy as well as even tried to hook up my washing machine for me but was unfortunately rusted. At the end, it only took them 2 hours to unload the whole truck and place all furniture in the proper rooms and to top it off they also only charged me for the 2 hours of service that was completed instead of the required 3! One of the gentlemen also informed me that I was not charged the usual piano moving fee (I believe he said usually $125-200?) but at that point, I was so happy with the service I was provided that I would've paid it. However, I was extremely happy to hear that this fantastic company was cutting me a break for their services and fees! I would absolutely recommend them to all friends and family and done so already! Great experience overall!! Thank you for your time and dedication and care in your jobs!

I was very impressed with them. They are very experienced and proud of their work. They really believe in fine furniture and making things look as nice as they can. Originally I thought their price was high but after the experience I ended up having I wish I would have used their service.

Jim came out and gave me an estimate of $350 to fix a rip on the side of my leather couch, replace the sides of the seat cushions and put more padding in the back cushions. He said he was going to have to take the entire couch apart since it is a recliner couch because the cushions didn't readily come out. He picked up the couch and brought it back within a few days. The rip on the side of the couch was completely gone and the fabric that he used to fix the sides of the seat cushions could not have matched more perfectly. He fixed the top stitching. The back cushions looked great too. He also moved an existing couch for me to our basement so I could replace it with the newly fixed couch at no charge.
It was like getting a brand new leather couch for $350. I highly recommend and will use in the future!

We have a nice bedroom set and some of the dresser drawers' had broken runners.  The date and price of the service are estimates because this was several years ago. I do remember they quoted us a fair price, completed on time and the quality was very good. I would definitely use them again

The work was exceptional. The dining set was purchased at an antique store in 1990, due to the age and after 3 moves there were many scratches and faded spots and the furniture looked very worn.  Naiser provided service many years ago, so details are not fresh; but the finish on the furniture still looks fantastic.  Dining set looks as though we had the refinish done a year ago rather than approximately 8 years ago.

Beyond perfect!  Each piece I have had done is of what I consider to be museum quality.  I visited his workshop once and he spent a significant amount of time hand mixing various finishes and apply test strips so I could pick out exactly the color and finish I wanted.  Nothing but the finest materials were used to repair as needed.  Everything took time but it was finished right on schedule.  I would go on but I cannot offer anything but praise and the reader would think I was related to Joe or something.  If you want craftsmanship of the highest quality, this is the place to find it

They showed up on time, but with 2 extra people rather than the 4 we were quoted and we were then expected to pay for those 2 extra people.  We were told it would cut down on our moving time.  Honestly, it didn't, the $900 we were quoted became $1500.  It then became harder to coordinate the movers and direct them where items went once the truck arrived.  The truck was also not the size we were promised.  Our move was a temporary one, so we rented a 2nd garage to store extra boxes, bikes etc.  With the unloading being done by 6 men, it was impossible to watch and make sure that heavy boxes were not placed on fragile boxes.  Everything that was "Fragile" was clearly marked.  Even though I commented that items were not being stacked properly, (they were literally just shoving items, not paying attention to sizes).  Anyway, long story - short:  we have a 2 drawer metal filing cabinet sitting on top of boxes of expensive Garden Railroad trains.  We have heavy boxes sitting on top of china.  Heavy items sitting upon Rubbermaid storage totes that are bowing under the weight sitting upon them.  My husband has had to pull everything out of the garage and restack the entire garage.
One good point - they were careful for the most part with furniture.  Our expensive custom entertainment center did receive some deep scratches to the base.  They were touched up, so they are not as noticeable, but better care could have prevented this.
Bottom line:  We will not use them for our next move, nor would I recommend them.  The best I can say is that they did show up on time and the men were very polite.
