K&O Electric is the most amazing company to hire for any electrical needs in Northern Kentucky. I called Sunday night and they where there Monday morning!!! They where in and out in no time, extremely professional, and just nice guys. It's hard to find contractors that you are comfortable with to do work in your home. Highly recommend, quality work, fair pricing, and there when you need them...A+A+A+ Jason and Dina Park Hills, KY

He came, looked at the job, said he had multiple ideas and would get back to us with a quote. After a few months we never received a quote, we called to remind him and he never bothered to call us back, very upsetting.

Bernie and his crew were great. They came in and removed an old pear tree that had partially fallen down. They cleaned up the fallen debris and took down the rest of the tree and hauled it away in just over two hours. Due to recent ice storm they were very busy but came Thanksgiving morning to do the work. We couldn't have asked for better service and professionalism.

Bernie Gripshover was a blessing! Besides being the lowest price, he came in the darkness of night to remove a tree leaning against my house. After Duke removed the limbs over my power lines they left the remaining limbs too weak to support the weight of the tree and it began to slide down my gutter toward my heat pump. I called & explained my situation & he was there within 30 minutes and the tree was down off my house within another 40. He is great! You won't be disappointed if you hire him. Maggie in Edgewood.

The job went well, and I am extremely pleased with the finished product. I had three estimates come in for the job. One company said that they couldnt do the job for under $1600. Another came in at about $1500 and ALR Landscapes came in at about $1450. I was very impressed with Aaron of ALR Landscapes. A very soft-spoken individual, he took his time looking at the job and said he would have his estimate to me in a week or so. The steps had to be removed for him to get to the area to build a base for the pavers to be laid. He offered to take down and re-install the stairs after the job was completed for a slight fee. The other estimates I received would not take down the stairs and expected them to be removed before they would begin. Aaron came across as very competent and hard working. Aaron sent me the estimate and I mailed it back in. He was two weeks or so out and called me couple days before starting the job letting me know he was coming to begin work. He showed up on time and began the job. Ive learned from experience that there are some people you must sit and watch and others you can walk away and occasionally come back to check on progress. With ALR you can be at ease. Aaron removed the steps and took out the platform. He leveled the area and tamped in gravel for a base and put in the pavers. From inside our house we could hear him tamping the gravel for a solid base for what seemed hours. The finished product looked great. Far nicer than what me and my wife thought we would end up with when we began looking for a contractor. It rained heavily a couple days which turned a two-day job into a four day which is understandable. Also, my deck had a slight warp to it which was what I thought was caused by the steps sinking over time putting strain on the deck. With the new pavers in the problem did not correct itself. Aaron looked at the deck and said he could correct the problem by removing and putting in a new 6X6 for a slight additional fee. He put in the new 6X6 and corrected the warp and the deck looks completely level.

It took a few days to hear back after leaving a message. Got appointment set up. Joe did not show up or call. I called their office and spoke with Valerie. I told her he had not shown up. She said she would find out what was going on and call me right back. I never heard from anyone. If they didn't want the job, at least be professional enough to call and say so.

I got two quotes, for weekly ($105) and biweekly ($115). They cut my grass weekly until early July, when I asked them to come biweekly. They never showed up after that. No number of phone calls to the office helped. Yes, well have someone come out. And no one showed up. Called again and asked for the owner to call me. Yes, well have Andrew call you. Andrew never called. After three weeks, when my grass was a foot tall, I called another company. Terrible business people.

Larry Vaught is the designer we used and I trust him because I've used him before. He gave me what I thought was a good and financially reasonable solution to the landscaping problem that I had. The installers were really nice, too.

I contacted 3 tree services. Anthony got back to me the same day. One other took a week, the third has not contacted me. I needed some branches removed from a tree in the front of my house that were hitting the side of the house and the gutter in the front during high winds. I also have an ailing ash in the back that I wanted an opinion as to whether it was ash borer and an estimate to take the tree down. Anthony pointed out that the tree in the front had been severely trimmed previously and suggested I do the same. He called it "normalizing". That made sense in that I could then trim only as needed and it would be a few years before it would bother the house again. Plus, the tree will look more balanced than it had. He quoted a price of $250. The ash, being nearly against an 8 foot fence on 2 sides and over 30 feet tall presented a problem for removal. I'd been quoted $1k to $2k to take out the tree. I don't have that much money lying around so I asked about taking the tree down to where the trunk branched out. I would have a 9' trunk in the corner of my yard but I wouldn't have to take down the fence to get equipment in. Fortunately, there's an empty lot next door that Anthony could bring his truck into. He quoted me $400 to take the ash down to just above the top of the fence. Three days later he and hos crew were here. The ash was cut down piece by piece from the other side of my fence. Anthony said the wood was still good at the point he stopped cutting. He left a branch and some some new growth and is hopeful the tree will come back. Hopefully, without a bug problem. His crew then started on the tree in the front. Total time was 3 hours or so. I'm very pleased with the work done, Anthony's knowledge & professionalism, and will definitely call him again when I need that front tree trimmed again. He saved me a lot of money today.

When I agreed to work with A & A Lawn Care, I had clear conditions. One was that the trucks and trailers had to be parked on the street and not on our driveway shared with other homes. I was told this would not be a problem. What I got was two trucks with trailers parked on the shared driveway. I asked the lead of the crew if he was going to move them and he said yes, and then walked away and started the mower. So they weren't going to move the trucks. I stopped and asked again and was told yes and then back to the mower. Clearly, he could not understand what I was saying. I then stopped him again, knowing that I had a car coming back from service at the dealership that was clean, and asked he and the crew start in the back and opposite side of the driveway to prevent the wet grass from getting all over the driveway and my car. Of course, this was also ignored and they started cutting toward the driveway. At this point, I said enough is enough and I told them pack it up and leave. My yard is about one-third cut, so it's a mess. They are no longer welcome on the property. I have attempted to reach the company to discuss, but if a crew is on a customer site on a Friday after they close the office and there is an issue, you are out of luck. This is a poorly run business. I am sure the company will post some sort of rebuttal, but no one who will write that was there, so it is hearsay at best. Keep that in mind as you review this. In the end, the company ignores what is required by the customer, and employees that show up either cannot understand or comprehend clear statements.
