Mark was great to work with and the product was excellent. Mark and his workers were all professional and friendly. Promptness and communication were exceptional. Will definitely hire for future projects.

We have done a lot of renovating to our home, and one area you need an excellent contractor for is drainage, especially when your home is built on the slope. Stan Drainage is a great value, and I would recommend them for three reasons: First, they are technically competent, its why theyve been in business so long. Second; they keep you apprised of their schedule, walk you through each step of the project and explain what materials and techniques they use before and during the project. Lastly, they stand behind their work and never fail to address your concerns. The following paragraph briefly outlines what they did for us with photos. Our basement leaked as the people who flipped the house did not understand how to correct it properly. We contacted Stan Drainage, and they reviewed the areas we had problems with water intrusion in the foundation. They provided a timely quote and worked when they had a break in the weather. Understand that they will need dry weather when doing this project, so be patient, its no different than putting on a new roof. They excavated, repaired the leak points in the foundation, sealed the foundation, replaced the tile at the footer, corrected all the downspouts, installed window wells, and plumbed the front of the garage to account for the flash off the driveway. I have enclosed some photos of their work in process through the completion of the project. Recommend you give Stan Drainage call when considering this type of work. Kevin Sari, Home Owner

We had to wait about 2 months to get the project completed. It is a small family business that keeps pretty busy. The crew came and in one day they removed the old concrete and placed footers. The next day they poured the concrete, and did coloring and stamping (that we chose from samples they provided) to provide a beautiful texture. This crew worked hard, they were friendly, and did quality work at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the wait.

After bragging on Danny and Aquaproof to an architect we were working with today, I decided to drop by and do a follow-up review on the work that was done 5 years ago in March 2013. We had catastrophic basement issues and Danny and his team did incredible work with a creative solution. Knock on wood (concrete?), not one time since 2013 has a drop of water gotten in and we could not be happier. We have had some very wet springs in our area in recent years and it has held up great. We were given a lifetime warranty (even if we move, it goes to the new owners) which gave us a lot of confidence prior to the job. Two different friends have had their basements "repaired" by some more high profile companies, only to have both of their basements have to be redone due to leaking after the jobs were complete. I really cannot recommend Danny and Aquaproof highly enough! Again, I am writing this 5 years after our job was completed. Excellent communication (if Danny was going to be even 15 minutes late, he would call -- but he was always punctual) and customer service. This actually was the highest bid of all the quotes we got but we've never regretted going with Aquaproof. Most certainly a case of getting what you pay for!

The owner himself, damaged my privacy fence with equipment, and he left for the day and failed to inform me when the damage was done. The next day, I had to approach him about what happened, he did apologize and we both agreed that it was an accident. He assured me that it would be fixed and we both agreed he could square up when they were finished, in case there was more damage. As the project went on he did not have the proper permits to complete the job and I was worried about him being on my driveway with heavy equipment that he had been asked not to be on, in which they continued. I then asked if the company had insurance and who it was with, the owner never gave me the information. In fact, I spoke with him a couple of times about just paying me for materials and I would fix the fence myself. He kept putting me off until the next day. Well, needless to say I have not received the money for the materials. The fence company estimate was $350, I was only asking $50 for materials and I was going to fix it. There were a lot of issues that were very unprofessional, so it very much did not surprise me that he damaged a brand new fence and walked away without taking care of it. Very, very poor business practices.

Paul did an excellent job on the drive. He was also very prompt, kept me informed of when he would come due to a lot of rain at the time of services. Price was very competitive. Will recommend to anyone who asks.

I dont understand how this company can have an A+ standing with the BBB. If you ever need concrete work done, DO NOT USE Everlast Concrete! I hired this company to replace a small front porch, steps and walkway to the porch. I was told that it would take 3-5 daysit took them 4 weeks. The very first day, I told that the job would cost 50% more than what was quoted. Then day two they wanted additional money to rent a machine. I was having my walkway, steps and porch stamped but was told on day one of construction that the stamp I chose and they quoted me for, could not be used for the steps. I was told to pick another stamp that was smaller. When I picked another stamp, they then told me I had to BUY the stamps (3 of them) and I would have to pay for them. When I said if I pay for them, then I was going to keep them, they said they would split the cost with me and they would keep them. Long story short, we used the original stamp design I had chosen and skinned the steps instead of the stamp and it didnt cost me anything. They first told me 30% of the quote before they start and the rest upon completion. They asked for the second 1/3 when it was time to order concrete; saying it was their practice. Of course, I should have made sure everything was in their contract, but it wasnt. Marc miscalculated on the concrete amount he needed and ran out during the pouring and had to have the concrete company bring more. Since my concrete was tinted, I was concerned about the color not matching. I was told not to worry it would match. Guess whatit didnt match at all. They had to dig up the section of the mismatched walk and redo it. And again, it doesnt match. Also, they work when they want to, not when you are expecting them to. They DO NOT clean up after themselves; through water bottles in the yard, leave tools laying for days, and I even had a dump truck left against the front of the house for a day (very attractive). They are full of excuses when you end up calling them to find out where they are since they said they would be there and are not. This has been one of the most stressful situation I have ever had. I have now been told by another contractor, who I trust explicitly, that my railing cannot be done down the front steps as expected because Marc did not make the steps uniform. They are all different heights ranging from 5 to 7 . I am honestly trying to decide if I am going to sue, the job is that bad. This job needs to be done by someone else.

Very pleased with quality of door and installation would definitely recommend. Best price of three estimates- 545 dollars all in. Others were as high as 825 and couldn't get to me for three weeks. John is great to work with!

I contacted Mr. Fugate to request an estimate for replacing the walkway, driveway and garage slab at my home. He arrived promptly for our appointment. After our discussion and his review & measurements of the area, he offered a price estimate followed-up with a written, detailed statement of work. He provided timely responses to all my questions. Mr. Fugate exhibited a very customer-focused attitude and provided a fair, reasonable estimate. He did not attempt to over-estimate the amount of concrete needed for the project and did not attempt to sell me a thicker slab of concrete that would have been needed for a private residential property. I found him to be a business person with integrity. These traits enabled him to stand above several other providers who also offered estimates but disappointed me by exhibiting one or more of these customer-unfriendly behaviors: not responding to my questions in a timely manner, not providing a written estimate in a timely manner, over-estimating the square-footage or cubic-footage of the area being replaced, over-pricing the job without reason or justification, providing a vague statement of work, which allows opportunity for nickel-and-diming the customer after work begins. Since I had not experienced any of the above concerns while working with Mr. Fugate, I was very comfortable in my decision to hire him for my project. Once the work dates had been established, Mr. Fugate honored the scheduled work dates and arrived early on each work day. We were blessed with warm, sunny, dry work days. Mr. Fugate and his team worked steadily each day in order to complete all required work for each day and to keep the project on schedule. The job started on-time and it finished on-time. From start to finish, Mr. Fugate and his team were hard-working, skilled and respectful toward me and my property. I was extremely happy with the results. The work team did not depart my home until after I had performed my review of the finished work and after any questions/issues had been addressed. Many of my neighbors have offered compliments regarding the results of their fine work. A few neighbors wanted to know who did the work as they also require concrete replacement on their properties. Now that weeks have passed and the new concrete has dried, I remain very pleased with my new driveway, walkway and garage slab. I enjoyed working with Mr. Fugate and his team. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and his crew for your (the reader) concrete project. I sincerely thank Mr. Fugate and his crew for providing me with a finished product that compliments my home and will be appreciated for many years!
