I gave him their vaccination records and he gave them back to me, said he didn’t want them. He put my cats in the dog kennel. Had never been around dogs. He showed me a cat room after 2nd week he cats were there. ??? They were on concrete slabs with worn out old boards for perches. He would not let me put carriers in the pens. They were neglected. They were fed because I saw crusty old food dishes in the afternoon. Always dirty. I brought beds in so they didn’t have to sleep on concrete and he called me a crazy cat lady. He apologized the next week. Had no names on the pens. I brought in index cards. Spilled water not cleaned up. I had paper towels. I cleaned it. He got onto me about parking, said I blocked his sign. Been park there for three weeks. Said he had customers coming in. So what was I? I made a face. He said don’t take it personal. I thought not another dime. I took them out and found another kennel. Kitty condos, no dogs, ac and bright and clean. They took their records and checked them in. Put their names and emergency number on the condos. Rude man. My cats dropped weight. I could feel their ribs. I would never recommend, at least not for cats. I regret not taking pictures so you could see where he put them. He had empty pens in the cat room but put mine in the other building. That bed was clean. After one week. 10.00 a day x six cats x 7 days x 3 weeks.

I took my French bulldog there as she had gone into labor. My regular vet referred me there as they could not help after hours. The "Doctor" led us to believe she was competent. They said they were taking our dog back for a C-section. We waited for what seemed like hours and then the nurse came out and said they just started the operation. What had they been doing for the past several hours?? It was later the nurse came out and said the puppies were not breathing but had heartbeats. The "Doctor" came out and told us the puppies died because they were under anesthesia too long because she took care of non-emergent patients while our dog was under anesthesia. All four puppies died!! They had no respiratory effort because they had been under anesthesia too long. We were devastated. Obviously, we contested the bill. The "Doctor" said "OK". She and the front desk clerk said we had to take that up with the "practice manager". The "Doctor" did not give us any pain medications nor antibiotics "because you are not paying". We spoke with the "practice manager". She was the most rude, nasty, hateful and uncaring person we have ever met. She refused to refund any charges. We had to take our dog to another vet because she would not stop crying and was in pain. This new vet said she had a wound infection. He gave us pain medication and antibiotics and he warned us to "never go to that vet again". This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! THIS IS NOT A QUALIFIED EMERGENCY VET CLINIC!!! THEY DO NOT PRACTICE UP TO STANDARD OF CARE. THIS IS THE WORST VETERINARY PRACTICE EVER!!! IF YOU VALUE THE LIFE OF YOUR PET DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

I requested that she be cremated and ashes be returned to me. The receptionist checked me out and told me they would call me in 3 -4 days. On the 4th day, I had a feeling something was wrong. I had a friend call on my behalf and indeed my feeling was right. They had not even sent her to be cremated and that I wouldn’t get the ashes back for another week! I was and still am devastated. Accurate information is critical to the owners when dealing and mourning the death of a beloved pet. I advise anyone and everyone to stay FAR FAR away from this place of business.

I have been using Dr. Bob for years.  He is hands down the best vet I've ever had.  He is dedicated, caring, honest and a heck of a nice guy.  I completely trust him.  His #1 concern is the care and quality of life of your pet.  His #2 concern is you and your pocket book.  If he tells me that something is needed, I have no doubt or hesitation that it is in my pet's, and my, best interest.  That means so very much when you are faced with a pet health concern or crisis...  Also, see the reviews for the Cincinnati Central Animal Hospital, which was his previous location/practice.   It is at that location that I first found him through Angie's List and he resolved my cat's health issues, researching and consulting with Ohio State to find a mix of medications that would work, after multiple vets before him had given up and said there was nothing they could do.

Our toy poodle is 16 years old. He gets nervous easily and has sensitive skin. Gentle Touch Grooming did an excellent job of cleaning up Scamps. Our little guy would be itchy for a week after a couple hours at the previous groomer. He had no problems at all after his visit to Gentle Touch Grooming. We know the owner. He is a man of caring and integrity. I recommend Gentle Touch Grooming without hesitation.

I hired A1 Petsitters to walk my dog, Bart, while I recovered from rotator cuff surgery. I live in an apartment and had to have someone that would be there early to take Bart out and come back again later in the day, seven days a week. I would manage getting him out the rest of the time. I wanted someone I could depend on.  I had no experience with a dog walking service and found the site online.  I called and talked to Terri (Owner) explaining what I wanted.  We set up a time for her and LeeAnn (employee) to come and meet Bart and me.  Many of the services I spoke to charge for the first meeting/evaluation.  Terri does not. I ask for references which Terri gladly gave me.  Every reference I called spoke highly of the service and I was repeatedly told how good they were.  The meeting went well and I chose to hire A1.  LeeAnn came every morning.  She was always on time.  Even with it being some of the worst snow storms and lowest temperatures of the awful winter, she was there!  Bart is 13 years old, spoiled and was very protective of me while I was healing.  Both Terri and LeeAnn were patient with him and coaxed and talked him into taking walks with them.  He was not keen on leaving my side.  Even to go out.  His whole routine was changing and they were great with him!  Terri would come every afternoon and take Bart for a walk again.  I don't think Terri ever failed to ask if there was anything she could do for me.  She offered to pick up groceries- whatever I needed to help out.

The care provided by these two ladies was so much more than a "service".  I witnessed every time they walked into my home and the way they acted with Bart. These ladies genuinely care about the pets they are caring for.  This is not just a "job" for them.

Getting Bart taken care of was one of my greatest worries about having the surgery.  Thanks to Terri and LeeAnn it became the least!  I knew he was in good hands and that allowed me to concentrate on healing.  I would hire A1 Petsitters again anytime!

I've been taking them to the service for about a year. They have a mobile unit and they do home visits and do the dog care at your home. My mother has had them come to her home to do her pet's checkups and vaccinations. I spend about $400 on some visits recently. I've been using them for about 6 years. Their mobile unit is something people would thing is going to be pricey and inconvenient but if they give it a try they might end up paying less.

Very good. Spoke with vet several times while my dog was there. They called me just to let me know how she was doing. She had good care and it was not extremely expensive. All the vets are very nice and informative.

Terri has found her calling in life around her love for animals.
In addition to pet-sitting and dog-walking she assists with
training and is active with local shelters to find good homes
for deserving pets. She is very thorough, professional and
responsible. I  learned about her business not long before
departing on a 10-day vacation. It was good fortune as I
was contemplating boarding my two adopted cats. It was
good for the cats to remain in their familiar environment.
Terri or her associate came twice a day for feedings and
play. I plan to employ her for another trip this spring.
