ASUNSHINE MAINTClarence and Lynette did a wonderful job on storm door and front door repairs to my dad’s home. They communicated with me as needed and were on time and friendly to work with. I knew right away they were reliable and honest, and the repairs went just as Clarence had predicted when he came by to look at the work to give me an estimate. ASUNSHINE MAINTI am happy to offer this review of Sunshine Maintenance. Maybe you can relate to my past experiences with residential service people: More often than not, it seems like the most important thing to them is get in and get out as fast as possible. Cutting corners, ignoring details, doing the least they can get by with is the norm. Everything those types are is everything Clarence and Linelle are not. They are not sloppy, they are not moving at breakneck speed to get the job over with. I am amazed every time at the old-fashioned pride they take to do the job right. All of that while being careful to do no damage in my home. I have hired them for multiple appliance installations along with a utility room remodel that involved cabinet installations, removal of an unwanted laundry tub, cap off water supply and drain lines, and paint. This husband/wife team is totally professional in their work and nitpicky about making sure the appliances they install were not damaged in shipment (which seems to happen often). They have never been late for an appointment and I’ve always felt their rates are fair. I recommend Sunshine Maintenance without reservation.- Michael W.

ADan HandymanDan has done an excellent work laying a new tile in our dining room and kitchen. He had to replace several water damaged beams and worked in our crawl space to get the floor ready for new tile. He was very thorough and explained his work every step of the way. FD&D Home Repair and RemodelsIt's been a terrible experience so far. They started painting and I have pictures of how bad of a job they did. They don't have enough help and they started last Tuesday and have only been to my house 4 times and they never stay more than 4 hours or so. I would not recommend them to anyone. ACloud Nine Solutions did an excellent job! We had clear communication ever through every step of the process. In running coaxial cable, routing can sometimes be an issue. The technician (Eric) consulted with me on everything. They did a professional job! I am very happy with the results and I would recommend Cloud Nine Solutions to anyone! NOTE: A competitor in Louisville wanted double the price for the same work!

DIn early May 2019 we signed a contract with Champion to replace the large leaking greenhouse window in our kitchen. Due to the nature of the design, the company representative told us the project would be assigned to the sunroom department rather than the window department. We gave him a sizable down payment and, based on the terms of the contract, felt certain that it would be installed before cold weather arrived that fall. As it turned out, this project would not be completed until late September 2020--SIXTEEN MONTHS LATER. This delay caused us extreme frustration, stress, anger, and many more months of water leaking into our kitchen every time it rained. We acknowledge that Covid-19 may be partially to blame for the delay; however, that does not excuse CHAMPION'S PERPETUAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH US. For months we felt ignored, disrespected, and that we were not valued as customers. Our phone messages to Champion were often met with no response and on more than one occasion, after finally being given an installation date, no one showed up or even called to let us know they would not be coming that day. Champion caused further delays and exhibited incompetence in several ways, such as: sending incorrect plans to our HOA, breaking the window glass at their warehouse, and incorrectly measuring the window openings THREE separate times. The measurement errors were not discovered until installation was well under way and required that the project stop while new parts were made. This took SEVEN WEEKS during which time we endured plywood covered window openings--AND NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER FROM CHAMPION. We would have given Champion an overall rating of "F" except for the fact that the actual installation crew was excellent, reliable, and caring, and we are satisfied with the finished product. Still, this was the worst home improvement experience we have ever had. We will never do business with Champion again and will definitely not recommend them to our neighbors.
