AMurray Window & DoorThis a wonderful company. We wanted to buy locally and are so glad we did! The owners, management and installers were professional, prompt & provided excellent Knowledgeable information about their products. They showed up on time, the installation was completed quickly, (nine old windows removed and new windows installed in about five hours. The owners/ managers came to our house during the installation process to make sure everything was going ok. The installers cleaned everything up and hauled the old windows away. We are extremely happy with our windows and the entire process. We would highly recommend this company!- Patty H.

ADistinctive Design RemodelingIt went really well. Our project manager Ian Baker did a great job of coordinating everyone and communicating with us. We knew who was going to be there when and what to expect as each day progressed. The contractors they choose were a pleasure to work withand did a great job. We needed some extra work to try to tie somethings together and was able to hire some of there contractors outside the job to handle these matters. I'm definetly considering hiring them again for some basement remodeling in the future.- Rita G.

ASOUTHEAST KENTUCKY DOORS INCAfter another local business wouldn’t return our phone call on a Friday night, over the weekend, or Monday, actually never did. Even after leaving our contact information on their Emergency Service line 06/14/19. I did a Google search and fortunately found Southeast Kentucky Doors. I gave them a call and within the hour they were at our home and fixed the garage door. From the person who answered the phone, to the workers, everyone is very professional, and I would highly recommend them! Thank you Southeast Kentucky Doors for being an upstanding and outstanding company to work with. We now know who to call going forward when we need garage door work done.- Tina W.

AHouse DoctorsBart is a very professional handy man who knows how to delegate work to his staff. He contacted me within 2 hours after I sent an email through House Doctors and was onsite by the afternoon. He was very honest with me about the price and work expectations. In addition, he informed me he was fully ensured for any damages and if one of his guys got hurt on the job. Bart's team was awesome! His guys are respectful, easy going, and very knowledgeable about their trade. They surprised me at how fast they tore the old wall and ceiling down and put up everything new (about 3 days total). Plus, the guys were great with my youngest who insisted on helping out where and when he could. The price was a little higher then we had budgeted but considering how great the wall looks I'm not complaining. They started on Wednesday and were done by Friday with some minor cleanup the following Monday. I am definitely using House Doctors for all my future home repairs.- Brian D.

ABrandon Neal came to look at the door in need of repair and provided an estimate of the work to be done. He was very informative about the products and explained in detail why certain products are recommended. He also explained how my existing door is not well insulated resulting in higher energy cost and what their doors are made from that would help to reduce energy cost. No services have been performed yet, however an agreement was made to have services performed in a few weeks. Great experience so far!

ANeeded 14 windows replaced in the house I am living in and they were on time and answered any questions I had. Installers were on time. They had it scheduled for 2 days of work but had it all done in one day and cleaned up after themselves you would have never known anyone was there if it wasn't for the awesome looking new windows.

DIn early May 2019 we signed a contract with Champion to replace the large leaking greenhouse window in our kitchen. Due to the nature of the design, the company representative told us the project would be assigned to the sunroom department rather than the window department. We gave him a sizable down payment and, based on the terms of the contract, felt certain that it would be installed before cold weather arrived that fall. As it turned out, this project would not be completed until late September 2020--SIXTEEN MONTHS LATER. This delay caused us extreme frustration, stress, anger, and many more months of water leaking into our kitchen every time it rained. We acknowledge that Covid-19 may be partially to blame for the delay; however, that does not excuse CHAMPION'S PERPETUAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH US. For months we felt ignored, disrespected, and that we were not valued as customers. Our phone messages to Champion were often met with no response and on more than one occasion, after finally being given an installation date, no one showed up or even called to let us know they would not be coming that day. Champion caused further delays and exhibited incompetence in several ways, such as: sending incorrect plans to our HOA, breaking the window glass at their warehouse, and incorrectly measuring the window openings THREE separate times. The measurement errors were not discovered until installation was well under way and required that the project stop while new parts were made. This took SEVEN WEEKS during which time we endured plywood covered window openings--AND NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER FROM CHAMPION. We would have given Champion an overall rating of "F" except for the fact that the actual installation crew was excellent, reliable, and caring, and we are satisfied with the finished product. Still, this was the worst home improvement experience we have ever had. We will never do business with Champion again and will definitely not recommend them to our neighbors.

AI wanted about 100 feet of fencing put around the back of my house to serve as a dog run. I had contacted several local fencing companies but they either did not return my calls or were booked for a couple to many months. I lucked out that these guys were in-between jobs. Kyle came out quickly and gave me an estimate that was less than I was expecting and more than fair. He walked me through the pros and cons of different kinds of fencing and I settled on split-rail. I didn't want an expensive fence, but I wanted something a little nicer-looking than chain-link. He even gave me a small discount if I started the work sooner rather than later. They got started less than a week later on a Tuesday, and were only delayed by a few days when several rounds of thunder storms came through. Even with the rain they had the posts up and in concrete by Friday so they could set over the weekend. The fence was up by lunch on Monday. They returned Tuesday morning (due to a materials delay that was beyond their control) and finished the entire job by lunch on Tuesday. Kyle, his partner, and the 2 men that helped them on this job are good, local guys from southern Indiana. They were honest, tidy, pleasant, polite, and honestly, fun to talk to the few times I went out to shoot the breeze with them. I hope they make it in this business for their sake and the fact that I would hire them again if the need ever came up.
