It went great. My son was happy. I was happy. She is a responsible person and I trust to watch him again.

    Whitsett, Dr. Christina
I had a dental checkup there 2 days ago ($123). They changed their name recently and got a new computer system so not even my name and address were in their records. Hmm. The checkup ended with a recommendation for a deep cleaning (scraping and root planing, 4 separate anesthetized sessions, ~$1,000) based on X-ray 'bone loss' and gum pocket measurements, and they identified 5 cavities that needed to be filled ($2,082 work recommended). Having had a strong recommendation from my brother to try the U of Louisville dental school clinic, I found their price for deep cleaning to be a good bit lower ($252 less, based on estimates), and I decided to go there for the work instead. This morning I went to U of L and was told I had NO cavities, and that I did NOT need deep cleaning. They explained several deep gum pockets in the back were probably misidentified by Integrity Dentistry because the gums themselves are rather think and high there, and that X-ray voids around several old fillings were questionable, but told me there were no indications of disease (NO need for the deep cleaning, and NO cavities to be filled). I question the competence of the hygienist, who took the gum measurements, and the dentist, who was a bit too quick to recommend a fairly drastic treatment for what the U of L professionals dismissed as not warranting ANY treatment at all.

    Louis Beto MD,DDS,DMD
It is now 26 hours post-op and I have experienced absolutely no pain, no discomfort of any sort. There is a very small amount of swelling in the area, but since I wear a beard no one even notices that. Dr. Beto asked me if I thought I would want a prescription for a painkiller. I declined and, so far, have not taken so much as an aspirin. I went to this doctor based on the recommendations of friends in our small town about two years ago for another extraction and was so pleased then that when my DMD told me the back tooth needed to come out, I did not hesitate in asking for a referral to Dr. Beto. He is an amiable gentleman who answers questions that you needed to ask but didn't know to ask. His entire staff is friendly, competent and professional in every respect, mirroring Dr. Beto in all the right ways. My blood pressure, when I first sat in the chair, was a little high for me. As the nurse efficiently prepped me for the sedation surgery and we chatted, I could watch the monitor and saw both my pulse and blood pressure drop steadily into what for me is the normal range. And, this was before the sedation was even started. I recommend Dr. Beto and his team to anyone who wants the best possible care with the best outcome.

    Lexington Clinic
Most of the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Some staff could use more training and more staffing is needed in some offices. The doctors have all been professional with excellent communication skills. I will be having ongoing treatment and feel comfortable under their care.

    The Eye Care Institute
The wait time was approximately 20 minutes from the time I arrived until I was taken to an exam room. The person performing the exam was very friendly and did a good job of explaining what was going to happen as she tested my eyes. Following her initial exam, I met with the doctor to go over the results. He didn't spend much time with me since it was determined that I was not a candidate for lasix. He did explain an alternative, which I wasn't interested in. He suggested I make an appointment for the following year for a basic eye exam in their regular eye department. He suggested I continue to wear reading glasses, as needed. He was professional and courteous.

    Lexington Plastic Surgery, PLLC
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I filed a grievance with The Kentucky Board of Medical License for unethical and unprofessional conduct, told my very unfortunate story and provided documentation. Following a review of an Investigation Report by a Kentucky Board of Medical License Investigator, it was the decision of the Panel that disciplinary action was warranted against Dr. Gerstle's medical license. He scheduled surgery at the Kentucky Surgery Center and didn't have the privileges' to practice there. I believe I was scammed. In addition to conduct unbecoming of a doctor he gave me horrible results from fat injections to my face. Visible line of fat under one eye and pads of fat under the other. My cheeks are asymmetrical. Awful! I would not recommend him to anyone. I wish I'd done my research & read Case No. 1866 specifically page 4 #12. Explained a lot for me. The last conversation I had with him was so disturbing.

Very knowledgeable & extremely helpful. The only problem is that you always have to wait & sometimes it takes up to an hour to be seen.

    Hartsock, Tom E DMD MS
Everything was great! Dr. Hartsock treated all four of my children and myself. He completed his specialty training at THE Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He is the ONLY Elite Invisalign provider in our area and one of 4 in our state. Some of us chose regular braces and some Invisalign. Super professional and he does great work!
