AAaron Vennefron Handyman ServiceAaron was great. He is sorta a Jack of all Trades. He is very nice and has a big heart. Not many people will bury your pets kindly. But they are part of your family and Aaron treated my guys as such. It is amazing how much talent he has. He fixes things , builds things, paints things. So far I have not seen anything he can’t do. He cleans up after himself and now days it’s hard to find people to do things that you can trust. I would recommend him to anyone. But I can say this if you get him to fix things for you I can guarantee you will use his services again.- Tammy C.

AI called Cecil Lock & Key yesterday morning, and the owner told me to contact Gary Leach, who did house calls. I called Mr. Leach, and he told me that he would come by in the evening after another scheduled job. About a half hour later, he called back and said that he could make it even earlier before his afternoon appointment, and he promptly came over to install a new front door lock and a first time bolt lock. He also re-keyed the two back door locks so that they all used just one key. He was quick, helpful, polite, and he did a nice job.

BThe technician showed up in the time frame designated. He was able to make extra keys in his van. I was not happy with what he charged me. I was charged for 6 locks but only needed 4 rekeyed since I had purchased one set of locks and had the rest matched to that one. I did not receive the senior discount and I was overcharged $75.

AHe said he would be glad to look at it and informed me up front that a significant percentage of this type of locks are defective. Fortunately, Patrick was able to reset the lock in a quick and timely manner. Price was very reasonable.

AIt went well. Tech arrived on time and was friendly and professional. Changed lock and made 3 extra keys (2 are included). Charges were $75 for call, $50 for labor, $20 to change 2 cylinders and $6.00 for 3 extra keys. Total with tax $161.60. I forgot to ask for my senior discount but the page says they offer 10%. It did seem a bit pricey to me but I wanted it done today and didn't have lots of time to shop around so I counted on Angie's List ratings to be valid!

AGreat job! I had disassembled an exterior touchpad-type of door lockset for what seemed would be an "easy" DIY adjustment to a loose thumbturn. After encountering some unexpected difficulty, I disassembled some more parts. Realizing that the thumbturn had no adjustibility, I proceeded to reassemble the unit, but I did it wrong so that the key got stuck in the cylinder. After some more fiddling and disassembly, the key cylinder totally fell apart and became a pile of tiny springs and pins -- the "tumblers" that fit to the pattern of the key. (Google images for "5-pin key cylinder" and look at the complexity of this little thing!) It seemed I had gone beyond "the point of no return". So, I called High Speed Lock expecting to pay for a new cylinder and key. Erik arrived on time, looked at my collection of parts, and said he could rebuild the cylinder. After a few minutes in his truck, he reinstalled all the original parts, except for new springs and pins inside the original cylinder housing. The original key still works, and the lock is back to normal. For a very reasonable price, I got great service and learned a few lessons too.
