Greg was responsive and was able to perform the survey I needed within a few days of my call. He was extremely professional and the markers he set were great in determining the property lines for a fence we're building. I would highly recommend Greg for this type of work as he is excellent and extremely affordable.

They are very good. We are very pleased with the price they gave us. It was a very good experience. They don't try to oversell. They won't try to come and do things that they shouldn't do. They are just a mom and pop organization that is concerned over us and not just not getting the job done. They do a good job. They are very nice. We would use them again.

I purchased the Angie's List deal to have my yard mowed. I was able to get in touch with Kyle, who said he would send be over within a few days to give me an estimate on my lawn. Eight days later, I received an email with a quote for my lawn. I wrote back within two hours and accepted his price, and asked him to please start at his earliest convenience. He said he would be over the next Monday. He did come over, saw the yard, and realized the person he had asked bid on my yard had estimated it $10 too low. He said because it was late and he needed to leave town the next day, compounded with rain earlier in the day had pushed him behind schedule, he did not mow my yard...and he did not tell me.
I checked in a few days later to see what was going on, we exchanged several emails and finally Friday night, he came over. He explained the situation, said this wasn't how he normally like to do business.  He mowed my yard and said because the person he had bid my lawn came in $10 under, he wouldn't mow it again....even though I offered to pay him $10 more.

Meyers Aquascape is an excellent company to work with. They generally send the same employees each year to take care of our pond so they are familiar with it and what our needs are. They are extremely quick to respond when we have problems and will always work diligently to get things fixed quickly. Always have great suggestions for us and willing to answer any questions we have about maintaining our pond. The price varies depending on needs but generally is is $400-600.

Our walk behind gas lawnmower would barely fire up before running rough for a few seconds and shutting off.  We tried all of the tricks we knew to fix it, but were not able to.  I found Don's on Angie's List and called them for an estimate.  The man I spoke with was very helpful and explained their service and repair packages to me.  We took the lawnmower to them (but they do offer pick up) and they cleaned the carburetor and serviced it.  During our previous at home attempt to fix the mower, we had put in a new spark plug and air filter.  Rather than charging us for additional new parts, Don's used our new, clean parts in their repair job.  They were honest, quick, and very friendly.  Our mower works great and I would be happy to have Don's service it again.

Our estimator, John, was wonderful to work with and was very flexible about coming to the property and giving us an estimate.  Once we mailed the signed contract back we were scheduled for about 2 weeks later.  I really want to give this company higher marks, but because of the reasons listed below cannot.  While the work they did on our tress was flawless, their less than careful attitude toward my outdoor furniture, lawn decorations and raised bed garden were not.

We work third shift, so after letting the workers onto the property in the morning and giving them payment, I returned to bed and they were left to work largely unsupervised.  Once I woke and was able to inspect the job I found that they had not put any of my patio furniture back in place, had not returned lawn ornaments, did not reattach my hose and had nearly destroyed my raised bed garden (though perhaps they didn't think anything was wrong with the garden.)  They did clean up the excess branches and wood chips, but for $800.00 I wish they could have been more careful with my personal items.

I'd recommend their service, but only if you are available to supervise the job and make sure they return the work site to its original state.

The work looks great. I would recommend them to anyone. My wife and I are going to Florida and they are going to take care of the new plaintings while we are gone, I think this is exceptionally nice of them.

Initially I contacted Gary Jolly in mid-May and described to him the work I wanted done. He gave me an estimate over the phone, but I wanted to set up an appointment to make sure. After an hour, when he did not show up for the appointment, I called him. He had a conflict and was very apologetic, and we rescheduled. The estimate he sent me a few days later was slightly higher, but I needed to have these shrubs removed so I could put up a fence, and some companies would not come because the job was too small. So I appreciated their willingness to do the work, and I thought the amount was reasonable enough. When I got this estimate in the mail, I left a voice mail message that I wanted his company to do the work. After not hearing back for several days, I called him again, and he immediately scheduled the work for the following Monday at around 9 AM, the last week of June. Two men and a younger boy--maybe 8th or 9th grade--came. They got here around 9:30 and worked for about 2 hours. The men did most of the heavy work; the boy mainly hauled debris to the trailer. They did a good job of clearing the hedges--a very thorny job--and the ivy. They were unable to cut the tree down quite as far as Gary had indicated, but they got it almost to ground level and cut slashes in the trunk to help it decay faster. They brought grass seed and straw to cover the bare soil--an extra I wasn't expecting. They knew I was planning to put in a fence and suggested that I might want to wait until the fence was in, or the new grass would be trampled. I agreed that this was a good idea, so they left the hay and seed for me to use later. They also cut a fallen limb in my yard so that I could bundle it for the trash. I was in the house as they were finishing up, and I went outside to check things over, but they already had left. There were some small pieces of debris they missed when raking the yard, but I was going to do some more yard work myself, so it wasn't a problem. Both Gary and the men who came to do the work were very nice and I would hire them again. The only downer to this is that recently suckers have started springing up from around the tree trunk again, so I'm trying to find a way to take care of that.

I have had several complements on what she did. It worked really well. It made my home a lot more appealing. She is very earthy, she cares deeply and she is a very plant oriented person. She made some good recommendations because she is very knowledgeable and very reliable.
