    Excellent service! The staff at Betty's were super helpful! Very knowledgeable of their profession, took the time to explain how to care for the flowers I sent my mother and printed out a directions for care on the back of her card. The memorial day flowers we're amazing they always have the absolute BEST selection and quality! Always have 50 or 60 sprays to choose from and they are always beautiful! Very friendly staff, creative and outgoing people! Will never use anyone else! The beat everyone's prices and the quality is top notch!

    The staff was very friendly and knowledgable and even used their computer to help us plan the layout for our flower beds.  They then helped us pick out appropriate shrubs and flowers for the beds.  Their prices are extremely reasonable and their shrubs and flowers are doing very well in our gardens.  We will definitely return to them as will continue to improve our landscaping.

    Please Advise, if you are ever trying to get a loved one a bouquet of flowers, NEVER EVER order from Betty's Flowers in Corbin. Those people have been so unprofessional and rude that I am very surprised their business is even open!!! I ordered my wife Sunflowers and White Roses per her request for our anniversary and had them delivered to her job. I call her to find out that the flowers truly were a surprise, as there is not a single sunflower or white rose in the bouquet but it's a mixture of wild flowers and such... stuff you could honestly get at Walmart for like $10! I figure maybe thy sent her someone elses, but it has her name and note on the card. So I call Betty's Flowers and the lady there that day said that the one who took down the order simply wrote and quot;fresh arrangementand quot; so that's what she made and said that our money's worth was in it. I asked her if she could deliver the right bouquet to my wife (who wasn't happy), but she said they sold all their white roses the day before. So I ask for a refund and she says I'd have to speak to the owner who wasn't there and so she took down my name and number. The owner never called. I called the next day and talked to the original florist I ordered from who admitted her mistake and said she could send out sunflowers and lilies but that they were still out of white roses. I told her my wife specifically wanted sunflowers and white roses and that I'd just take a refund and find someone else who has them. The owner still wasn't there so this time I left him two numbers to contact me. So I call again today and the owner finally answers. I summarize the issue, tell him I can bring this bouquet up there and get a refund. He was extremely rude from the get go. He said I had offers to get a replacement sent out the last two days but I didn't take them and that by now, the flowers probably weren't worth the return (and he's right on their worth as they are already wilting in only two days time!). He refused to give me a refund or replace them with what was ordered. He then said he didn't have to hear this and hung up on me! How can someone operate a business like that??? And does anyway know anything I can do about this? I've already opened a complaint with the BBB. These people should stick to funerals because the people involved are already generally sad and disappointed. Seriously, never order from them. It's ridiculous...

    For your future floral needs, I would like to recommend that you NOT use Beth at Etown Florist. I met with Beth, the owner of the company, on July 26, 2011 to discuss wedding plans and 10 weeks later had STILL received no communication from her. 10 WEEKS!  At the time of our first meeting, she said that she'd email me a price quote the next day.  I didn't receive anything following day, but wasn't worried at that point and decided to give her a week.  On the multiple occasions that I attempted to call after not receiving an email or call from her, she was never in the store and no one else at the shop seemed to have any answers. Still having not heard from Beth, I called her today, 10/5, to remind her that my wedding is in 10 days and ask why I have not heard from her. She stumbled on her words for a second then claimed to have emailed me. I informed her that she absolutely did not email me. She said she'd get her folder concerning my wedding and we could go over the final plans. I told her that was not necessary because I have already found another florist who understands a bride's needs and would be better able to communicate. It's stressful enough being a bride, you don't need to worry about your florist not showing up or having no idea what they're going to charge you. I understand that I was not her only client, but 10 weeks with no contact is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Since sharing this problem with others, I have heard that she's shorted people bouquets and shown up late to other events. So actually, I want to thank Etown Florist for doing me a favor with their lack of professionalism. It led me straight into the hands of a great florist (Flowers Flowers) who wants to give brides a beautiful, stress-free day! Our floral budget is a pretty generous amount, so this company really lost out on a good paycheck and the possibility of a lifelong customer.  However, I will forever sway people away from this company after the rude treatment I received.  If I hadn't called Beth again today, I wonder if she would have even contacted me at all before my wedding.  She was not apologetic at all, very rude and snide about it.  I don't know if she simply forgot about me altogether, or if she planned on waiting until the last minute and quoting me any price she wanted because I wouldn't have had another option.  Someone who has been in business for as long as she has should be more understanding of the stresses a bride has to go through and not make this another problem.   Communication goes a long way.  If she didn't have an answer for me, a simple call or email to say so would have been fine.  If she couldn't fit me into her schedule, she could have just said so.  With the name "Etown Florist", people think that she must be the best florist in Elizabethtown, but such is not the case.  It seems to me that she treats people however she wants to just because she stays busy.  But hopefully people will start to let her know that her behavior is unacceptable and give business to some of the other florists in town who genuinely want to help!
