BEWARE CADCO HEATING AND AIR. I've been patient for 2 weeks and now I'm angry. CadCo has allowed us to go without air for 2 weeks, no updates on our part unless we call. Came on Monday, supposedly fixed problem, but air out again in hours. Called at 4, close at 4, will come tomorrow (Tue). No call Tue, we had to call, said can't come today, will come Wed. Came, told we need a part, that part would take a week to come in, but would put us on Fri afternoon appointment just in case. We had to call Fri to find out not coming. Monday, no call. Tue we called, told us the part would be in Wed but the tech was "on vacation" and were trying to find someone to install, Friday at latest they said. No word until we called Friday around 3 (they close at 4) and wanted our money back so we could move on with another company, we would be willing to buy that part so they aren't out money and we don't have to wait for next company to order. Apparently Tech came by at 11:30 (they are supposed to call 30 minutes prior to arrival) and no one was home. He was not given our number until I called to complain--Mind you they have taken or verified my number EVERY TIME I have called over the past 14 days. Now they admit that original tech QUIT and apparently took the part with him because they can't find it! No offer of our initial $80 back that we paid for the first fix that didn't take, no offer to do the upcoming $300 work for free, just a "I'll go check the warehouse and see what I can put together tonight." And then we NEVER HEARD BACK until 3:30pm Saturday. At that time we didn't need them because I got on FB Saturday morning, a friend saw my post and came out and HAD IT FIXED IN 2 HOURS!!! Me and my 2 year old and five month old had patiently waited TWO WEEKS on this company! My friends gave me several recommendations. Air Extreme (Terry Callihan), their company will give you a window unit while you wait for your part. I also recommend Jeff Roark HVAC Repair and Installation 606-836-0974. I had forgotten about him, but he came and repaired my grandmothers heat over 10 years ago on Christmas Eve/Day while she was dying and surrounded by family in her home.

Horrible. Technician said the condensate pan was rusted through. Talked me into a new a/c unit. When they removed the air handler and condensate pan, we discovered the pan is plastic, and it was leaking because the furnace/air handler they installed 5 years ago was put in wrong. They tried to say someone else had fabricated the air handler, and they didn't do it. I recalled, later, they did all the fabrication, because the previous furnace had burned. They offered a discount on the new unit, but I sold the house without anything. This was handled poorly. I was not planning to change the a/c before I sold the. I've used them for more 20 years, but they really lost my business with this.

Restored heat on the January 2014 service call and stated he would order the part that was needed for the furnace. October 2014 he was contacted again about the part and said he would order it. Several weeks later we were notified that it was in and could come in a couple days to install the part. Never heard from them again.

Service tech checked system added freon, it was a pound low. Service was prompt even during a mid May heat wave in the 90s. Service tech was Very courteous and knowledgeable. Said our unit was older but it still had life and did not recommend replacing yet. Very pleased with the experience.

This is my third review of this company. The initial one, when the unit was installed, was very good. The second one, not so much. I would like to retract that second review at this time. It was a total miscommunication between both parties. What had happened was this. The unit was shipped with the two internal circuit breakers (for the heat) in the off position. Doug and his man didn't think to check them. So, when the summer ended and the heating season rolled around, we weren't getting good heat. Some, but not what I thought we should be getting. Long story short, I knew that he was busy, he didn't show on the day he said he would (or so I thought), I gave him another day then called and was informed that he had indeed been there the day he had promised. I had left a note on the front door asking him to call me at work when he got there. He didn't see the note because he went straight to the unit, took the side panel off and set the breakers. I apologized to him for losing my cool. So, with that being made public, I would highly recommend this contractor.

Ashland Furnace has always done a great job for me. Their cost is not out of line and their technicians are knowledgeable and excellent to work with. I have never had any regrets in hiring them. They are punctual and do their best to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

I live out of town and needed to have the furnace replaced in a rental house where my daughter lives. The office was very good about understanding the problem of me being out of town and were very accomadating with scheduling and initial visit with my daughter. They inspected the house and said they would call me with an estimate. I expected to receive the call that evening but had to wait until the following Monday to hear from them. The estimate was reasonable so I contracted the work over the phone. Appointment was set up . On the morning of the appointment, I was on my way to the house (which was 3 hrs. from where I live), and received a phone call from the installer that he would be late, due to someone calling in sick. I was pleased that he called. I arrived at the house and found that they had been there, performed some work and then left to pick up some more parts. Now this is the part that I was not very happy about. The man who performed the initial inspection should have told the installers exactly what would be needed. They were gone over 2 hrs. However after they returned, they were both very pleasant, polite and informative about the equipment they were installing. They worked very hard to get the furnace in quickly. I was overall very pleased with their work. They cleaned up everything, offered to vacuum the carpet and took away the old furnace. I would definately use this company again.

They were very prompt when called and even though the motor for the unit had to be ordered it was sent over night and was installed in two days from the time they received the call. It was a very warm time of year and the company made sure that we were not without air any longer that possible. A++++ to Ashland Furnace.

Initial call for help resulted in repairman on 8/4. Recommendation to replace >25yr old unit made. Installed 8/5 took 6 hours. Heatwave in SE United States caused many units to fail. Placed call at 6AM to answering service after family couldn't take it anymore. Got the name off of the old furnace that they serviced in 1989. Initially operator thought they didn;t provide service to this area. The repairman and office were very expedient in getting back to me. The coordination was seamless throughout. They had a 12-mos same as cash payment plan with a down payment of $871. I only wish I had the chance to compare cost with other companies.I could not because this is a 2nd home and I'm too busy to attend to this at a later date. To tell the truth the "Family Owned" business and prior use of this firm convinced me that these guys were trustworthy.
