Motorcycle Repair reviews in Wichita

It was a total disaster!  They took the entire month of July to do the work.  They kept telling me it was getting pushed back because they were working on bikes going to Sturgis.  Basically, people paying for fast to do, way overpriced oil changes that made them high profits took priority over fixing my bike.

When I did finally get my bike back I find out, the hard way (on the ride leaving the shop), that they had not even bothered to adjust the brakes and properly bleed them so my rear brakes barely worked nearly getting me killed.  To add insult to injury, sometime during this past month at their shop they had managed to break my right turn signal switch off.  Whoever did this however concealed the damage and wedged the switch back in place so it wasn't detected until I got on the road and it vibrated off when I got the bike up to speed.

When I called to complain about this situation they said they wanted to 'make it right'.  Their version of making it right was to trailer my bike back to their shop and keep it a few more days while they adjusted the brakes like they should have done in the first place.  They also refused to take any responsibility for the broken turn signal switch.  They offered no refund or other compensation for the excessive time and frustration and I end up having to pay another shop to repair my turn signal so they actually end up costing me more money and time than they have already.

I did send a letter to Harley Davidson corporate customer care department and I did get a response.  The response was basically that every dealership was independently owned and operated and responsible for their own mistakes.  After this experience I can say without doubt that I will never give my business to Alefs HD again, and Harley Davison in general has lost a lot of respect in my eyes.
