Basement Waterproofing reviews in Wichita

    C.A. Owen Construction
Courtney did an excellent job of making sure we were fully informed about our options for repairing our basement, he walked us through all aspects of the job and made himself available to answer our questions anytime. The gentlemen who came and performed the work were courteous and professional, they did a thorough clean up at the end of the job. I couldn't be happier with the results.

The new patio looks great. More importantly, when we had a heavy rain last weekend, there was no water in my crawlspace. Keeping that dry was my main goal. Courtney was easy to work with. He was honest about what he thought. He did not mind when I initially took time to consult another professional. His crew showed up on time on the days they were supposed to be here.

    Thrasher Inc
Thrasher employees had to come three times after water kept leaking in below an egress window. It is clear that not all employees have the same level of expertise; the very experienced lead employee on the third team knew immediately why the work from the second visit had failed and explained it to us in a way we could understand. While I am very disappointed that three visits were necessary and I have not dared reconstruct my basement, Thrasher was always pleasant and attentive when we notified them of problems, and the basement is completely dry now.

    Isham Waterproofing, LLC
Working with IWP was the most disappointing experience as a client to date. My husband and I used Shane Isham's company, IWP, LLC, for our foundation repair on a house we purchased 6/1/2016. Before he started work his crew dumped concrete from another job in our front yard, it is still there today (10/7/2016). We asked multiple times for a contract of some type. He promised to get the contract, but after many excuses and delays we stopped asking. We also asked for him to display the work permit on the door. Again, after many excuses we called the city ourselves to find that he had not requested a permit. Further investigation revealed that he hadn't even licensed IWP! We asked him to stop work until he had the proper legal documents. He had the documents after a week, but work did not resume for over two weeks, during which our basement flooded twice. He never provided a pump or any assistance to bail water out of basement OR open trench. When the trench collapsed he left us waiting a week for a second excavation. He over compensated while lifting the corner and caused even MORE damage to our brick facade! The seal plate won't lie flat now. We suspect that there is water under the basement floor due to the flooded trench, but only time will tell. They broke our water line and tried to get out of fixing it. It had a tooth mark in the pipe, clearly made from the excavator. That left us without water for 7 days, air conditioner had also been disconnected since work began - all summer. His crew is tiny and overbooked. They don't have the experience or equipment necessary to handle the job he bid. His web page states "IWP has a full crew with specialists for each discipline", which is a non-truth. Only two wo of his employees have experience, while the other two were young guys (maybe fresh out of high school?) with no experience whatsoever. Isham seemed irritated by our concerns, blamed US for the delays in the timeline, blamed his CREW for poor workmanship and was seldom on site. There are more details still that I will not elaborate on. I wouldn't recommend this outfit to my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would...

    Thrasher
Overall went smoothly. They were able to get me on the schedule and work done quickly after I finally selected a company. I had 4 bids on the work. KS Basement was the 2nd lowest. I went with them because of a longer warranty and included a sump pump replacement.

    C.A. Owen Construction
My wife and I had a wonderful experience with C.A. Owen Construction. Courtney (the owner) was always on time and spent his time to teach us about foundation repairs and how to do it the right way. Courtney and his crew answered all our questions, worked clean, quick, and went the extra mile. I highly recommend C.A. Owen Construction because they are a company who treats their customers with courtesy and respect.

    Dry Basement Foundation Repair
Jerry Duff came out and inspected my basement. He was on-time and extremely professional. We have multiple cracks and some efflorescence on the basement walls. He provided several options but in the end let me know that there were other, more affordable ways to take care of the problem myself. I was impressed by this professionalism. He did not pressure us into any unnecessary fix and in the end probably save me a lot of money. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    Basement Technologies - Kansas
They worked for 3 days drilling and injecting mud into the holes to provide support under the sunken sidewalks and driveways. Would have completed in 2 days if an engine on the injection pump hadn't blown. Finished the job and met me to look over the work and make sure I was happy with their work. We had a difference in what was bid and the bill and decided on a fair deal between the two prices. Very good guys to work with.

    MIDWEST CONTRACTORS
They excavated 64 ft of wall. They epoxied the wall inside and put a rubber membrane outside. They put in 7 steel beams to keep the wall square. They put in new french drains. They also installed a new egress basement window. They did a great job. We are extremely pleased.
