    Byron Property Inspection Inc
Very pleased with John and his team of professionals. They arrived early to both appointments and put on shoe covers to protect the hardwood floors. They carefully documented all issues found, including many things we did not notice during the initial walk-through. They taught me what to look for, and how to maintain certain mechanicals. They identified some expensive problems, which helped us decide to reject one house and proceed with buying the second house. Afterward, the online written report was clearly summarized, easy to understand, and let me forward a copy to my realtor and the seller's agent for review.

Things were fine. Scheduling and communication were weak. Phone calls go to their answering service. Took a day off work because the crew said they'd be there at 9 for the second day of work. They didn't tell the office. The office assigned the crew to a different job. Mike from the office ended up coming over to do the work a couple hours later. Once he was done, no one told the crew they came by saw the work had been done and just left without saying anything. So my only complaint is poor communication (both internal and with me). But overall happy with the work that was done and Mike made sure things kept going when the crew didn't show, so I really appreciate them making an effort to make things happen.

Nick is an amazing man. I don't use the term "never" very often, but I will use it to describe my experience with InspectorNick. Nick was very professional, thorough and completely transparent with his expert perspectives on the condition of my property. Following the inspection, I needed to clarify sections of his report as my agent and I prepared our Addendum Of Unacceptable Conditions. Without hesitation, he responded, in writing, to my questions. I have "never" worked with an inspector that displayed all of the elements needed to be the best. Those elements are: Technical expertise and experience, exceptional customer service skills, and a profoundly grounded use of interpersonal skills, based on a well refined set of values. I would recommend Nick's services to anyone wanting a complete and accurate view of their potential home purchases. Nick's website is InsepctorNick.com! Landon went above and beyond what the inspector first discovered to find our bigger problem and take care of it. His price was well below other's prices. He came when he said he would and kept me up to date on his progress. I am more than satisfied with Landon's services and recommend him highly. Very polite.

    Dog Gone Mold
Dog-gone Mold guy came out and priced the work at close to $2000. I took a second opinion of Certified Water and Mold Restoration guys and they did the work for about $600. i would not recommend Dog-gone Mold to anyone

Came out to give me an estimate. He was very honest and said that it would not be professional of them to do the work until I took care of the water problem in the crawl space first. After all of the rain we've received this summer, I've come to the conclusion I need to install a sump pump. We visited for awhile as he listened to my concerns and he gave me a reference to call. I was grateful for his honesty and insight. He estimated cost as a minimum of $2,000, it's a rather large crawl space covering the entire foundation. Please note, it wasn't cost as the reason work was not done, I need to take care of other issues first.

Kevin is a very pleasant and competent person to deal with. Performed a thorough assessment of the suspected problem. While he was here he checked all 3 floors of the house for good measure. His conclusion is that there isn't a mold problem. He explained what he was doing and why during the inspection. If we ever have a water or mold problem in the future we will for sure engage his company. He didn't try to sell us something that we don't need, that is the type of professional that he is.

    Certified Radon

They did an awesome job from the start to the finish.  The initial radon test showed a radon level of 5.5.  Note - the builder installed a passive system when the house was built two years ago and had the vent pipe sitting on top the footing.  So nothing was venting out.  So Certified Radon drilled a new hole, patched the old hole, added new piping and added the vacuum pump to activate the system.  After activating the system, the radon level dropped to 3.5.  At no additional charge, they came back out and vented the garage (large three car attached garage) to the active system.  After the garage was connected, the radon level drop to 0.6.  All of the interactions with the company (from the office people, to the field people, and to the installers) was outstanding.

    They are good people!

The owner/manager paid us a visit to assess the problem.   His evaluation was very professional, and the information he shared with us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.   On the scheduled treatment date,  the owner returned with two crew members and went over specific instructions with them.  The entire process involved meticulous labor and took two days.  This included sealing off the infected area and extracting mold from the surrounding air space using special equipment -- and wiping down all surfaces, including  all exposed beams and other surfaces.  All mold-ridden insulation materials were then removed.  Crew members were also very professional, polite, and hard-working.   They went out of their way to insure that every detail was taking of.

Recommended to have it removed, and what is needed to complete the job.  The other area was below the window seal in the wall, he would have to cut the drywall out, and if so they dont replace it. He was very professional, knowledgeable and clean cut, and prompt.
