    I use Shawnee Mission Urgent Care.  I was there probably two weeks ago.  It was past doctors hours so I figured I would just stop there.  It was very good.  They're affiliated with my hospital.

    They had great home health care. We contacted with them several times for my husband for post-operative and rehab. He had surgery on his spine and also had brain surgery. They were great and patient, that was wonderful. It's a great place to be. They take care of you beautifully.

    I had a bad experience with them. I used them quite a few times this year and last year. They are too expensive. I don't know why they are charging that much. After using my insurance for each visit I still have to pay, like, $400.

    I had gone to several Rheumatologist who were awful and not helpful. I was referred to Dr. Barron. He is a world known Neurologist, but was acting as if he was my Rheumatologist. He sent me to multiple doctors to get a correct diagnosis. He is wonderful and I continue to use him as my Neurologist.

    We paid our co-pay, checked in 10 minutes prior to our appointment time, and had to wait 15 minutes past our appointment time until the medical assistant took our son back to the "triage" room, which is really where they just get weight and vitals (no triage is done here). Who does triage in this place anyway? Their website states they are "emergency/urgent care", so you would think they would take the emergent/urgent cases first, i.e. airway/breathing problems before someone who comes in complaining of a splinter in their foot, but what do I know?
    They have refreshments for the patients while they're waiting to be seen, and the medical assistant - actually, i'm not sure if she was a medical assistant or someone trained of the street - asked me if he'd like some popcorn to eat while he was waiting. Are you serious? You want to give my asthmatic child some dry popcorn? He is already having difficulty breathing. Please get the doctor in here ASAP so that we can get out of this place. Such a joke, honestly. We waited another 15 minutes, then the doctor came in with a different medical assistant who took his notes for him on a tablet, and he did his quick (and I do mean quick) exam, sent our son down for a chest x-ray, and we came back and waited some more. It is convenient that they have the capability to do radiology at this facility; I will say this is one of their only plusses. Doc came back in many minutes later with a diagnosis and treatment plan, then was off to print scripts and such. Tablet girl came back with the scripts and a disc with the radiology images (okay, I'll give them one more plus), and we were off. Let's not talk about the pharmacy issue... okay, let's... two of the scripts were wrong and the pharmacy didn't receive a call back from Nason until 4:30 that afternoon (our appointment was at 10:20 that morning).
    Checkout was easy, as they make you pay your co-pay when you check in. One more thing about the co-pay... we received a bill a month later stating that we did not pay our co-pay. Excuse me? I called the business office and they stated they had no record of payment, so I would have to pull my bank statement showing record of payment and send that in with the invoice. Done and done.
    First impressions are everything. Our family will not be returning to Nason.

    I like the doctors and the nurses. Therefore, I like the staff. They are fairly efficient. There are a lot of people there. Once you go there, the doctors see you real quickly. In terms of price, for me it is free. I would say it is good. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.

    We arrived at about 7PM and were seen by Dr. Daugherty within 20 minutes of arrival. The medical staff was very efficient and very good with my 5-year-old. Kid focused! After the diagnosis, the Dr. told us she would submit a report to our regular pediatrician's office so they would have record of the problem and the treatment. We would definitely visit this clinic for after hours services again.

    I cannot say enough good things about the people at the Shawnee Mission Urgent Care Clinic at 9040 Quivera, Overland Park, KS. I was in my car looking for treatment for pink eye, experiencing extreme difficulties in vision as I tried to find someone to treat a condition I was all too familiar with as someone who works with many children every day, When I found the Shawnee Mission Urgent Care Center, I cannot say enough good things about Mary, the person who answered the phone, repeatedly reassured me and calmly repeated directions as I was new to the Overland Park area and had no idea where I was! I am so grateful for the kindness demonstrated by the entire staff. Thank you, Shawnee Mission Urgent Care!

    My father had a kidney infection at 11:00 in the morning. It took 5 times to catheterize him. Finally the emergency room doctor was able to catheterize him at 7:00 p.m. They got him to a room that night. He was in a lot of pain and 5 attempts to catheterize him was very astounding. My only complaint was the emergency room. The care in the emergency room was very poor. I would not use the emergency room part of the hospital ever again.

    I have been to them before. The staff is good, and generally I am seen pretty quickly. However, Dr. Parkhurst provided the worst medical care I have ever received. He diagnosed me with something that I already told him I had. When he examined me, he handled my foot very ruffly, even though I told him I had a nerve problem there. All I received was a prescription for pain, but no additional guidance. I didn't learn anything new and didn't receive any new information. I left the office crying because he had inflicted so much pain during his exam.
