"Beware! I wish we had checked online reviews before my parents went to this doctor. I consult with them on medical issues. If you do check online reviews, you will" see that he has been rated below average and poor. Now, we know why! He was rude to the point that he yelled at my parents. They are the sweetest people and very educated. They tried to explain that they had seen other doctors and inform him of what they had been told. He would not listen and continued to bully and berate them. When the visit had gone completely downhill, they told him that they would not see him again. This doctor had been rude to my dad on several occasions before the final visit. This time he had family present to verify the unbalanced behavior of Dr.
. We will never know the reasons for his rude and scary behavior, but can help others to avoid this doctor at all costs. I trust Angie's List reviews and hope that you will too! We have never had this kind of experience before. We admire doctors and this was an unusual experience.

The benefit is not in "choosing" a provider that is listed on AL - it is in using AL to screen potential providers before choosing one by looking at their ratings and reading the reviews prior customers havae posted, so you get a preview up-front of what people like or dislike about them. You can also google the doctors names combined with the word - complaints - to see other blogs and comments about specific doctors - there are also a few medical-specific review sites out there. In dealing with a specialist like a neurologist, your regular general medical provider can also provide recommendations. And be sure if your insurance company requires it (almost a certainty) that you have a referral from your general doctor AND insurance company pre-approval IN ADVANCE of the first visit if you want his/her services to be covered by your insurance.

He lied to me. He DID discontinue the fentanyl, as he'd said, "Okay", but he DID NOT return my effective pain medicine anywhere at all closer to my historically-effective
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
as promised--he plainly told me, "Okay", nodding, just as he'd done in agreeing to my request to discontinue fentanyl, but when I contacted the mail order service, he'd called in the same arbitrarily-reduced, undertreating
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
in direct contradiction to his promise to me. And for the week or so he'd promised to provide me with medicine to tide me over for the week or so before mail order arrived? He called in a grand total of 10 pills! Not only violating his 3 a day promise but providing even LESS than the 2 a day he normally undertreated me with! FURTHERMORE, I never was able to get ANY of that interim Rx because Bustion &

& ofc. REFUSED TO RETURN CVS' & my calls about a
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
technicality that prevented CVS from filling the order! He left me high & dry. What the other reviewer said about his incompetent assistant
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
is 100% true. She returned none of my valid calls on any of these valid issues. I even sent messages through their electronic patient/doctor message system & was utterly IGNORED. Unable to function, untreated for a week because of gross incompetence & lack of concern for patients & complete refusal to communicate, even with CVS!! I've endured his terrible bedside manner &
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
's incompetence for years but never before has ANY doctor flat out lied to me like Bustion did. NOR has any other medical professional of any kind ever refused to communicate with me or my pharmacy, neither to fix his error, nor about the boldfaced lying & continued undertreatment of my worsened condition in spite of being fully aware it had cost me my job & was preventing me from getting a new one. He never remembered which treatments I had & hadn't tried, though I'd years before filled out the paperwork for him to get my records and had answered the same questions re prior prophylactic treatments nearly every time I saw him. He violated my trust and failed to meet minimum standards of medical competency, preferring to ignore certain patients at will. Maybe he hates migraneurs--I don't know. But he has no compassion or oppenness to patient input--I provided him with neurological studies backing up my historically-effective treatment on day 1, but 'twas ignored as he without explanation undertreated me and now has lied to me and refused valid communication, even from CVS! Avoid at all costs.

I developed a lack of confidence in this doctor. I was under his care for about four years. He told me I would be in a wheelchair in a few years, and scared me. My condition has not changed in the past few years, and his comment was so unnecessary and certainly not true. Maybe he is the doctor for you, but not for me and my family.

It was a great experience. Look all the time necessary and ask all the right questions. I don't think I have ever been more impressed with a doctor than I am with her. Had to wait several months to get an appointment because I was a new patient, but worth the wait. She addressed my questions before I needed to ask them. I have confidence in her and feel very fortunate to be under her care. Highly recommend her.

Good luck getting a response. The frustration with trying to reach someone is beyond measure. You can call at 8:30 or 4:10 and the answering service is already turned on. Just yesterday I left a message at 11:44 for a return call and 22 hours later I'm still waiting to hear back. As much as I like the doctor I'm shopping a new practice that can respond when they have messages from a patient. It makes it very difficult to do business with a practice that can't return or bother to answer a call.

He is very personable and was able to diagnose my condition right away. He ran a lot of tests on me and was very helpful in helping me with my condition and was able to perform effective treatment.

Dr.
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
is an incredible doctor. He is kind and compassionate and really listens. He also offers encouragement and his bedside manner is wonderful. I had suffered with an issue for my whole life and just thought I was stuck with it. He identified it during our first visit and the
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
treatment that he recommended improved my quality of life tremendously. I have been seeing him for several years now for different issues that have come up, and I am very pleased with the care that I have received. His hours vary, so day and evening appointments are available. His office secretary is very friendly and professional. His office is warm and welcoming. Whenever I need to speak to him he always returns my call within the same day. He really cares about his patients and treats them with respect. The only bummer about his office is that he does not accept insurance, but he does work with insurance companies to help get medications approved, etc.

It probably has been 2 years roughly since I have been seeing Dr.
Salina Neurologists Provider Name Locked
. He has been helpful. Anyway we decided that since I haven't changed that much in a couple of years that I have been seeing him. The next time I see him it will be to see him for some change in the condition. I would grade him an 'A' on everything. If I have any problems or any changes then I will certainly contact him.
