Tile Installation reviews in Roeland Park

Mark did a fantastic job. He was extremely responsive and professional. He came in, ripped out all of the tile in around a bathtub, installed a fancy anti-mold drywall system, and then re-tiled the entire area. He was flexible, courteous, and did really great work for an incredible price.

I am appalled by results. My grout lines are 1/16 but some are now more than 6/16 due to the shotty workmanship. I was willing to pay the small fortune in order to have a professional freshen up the grout lines. Unfortunately, the results are anything but. When I reached out to the individual that performed the work I was told that in time over the next year or so it will start to clean off of the tile and that there are not brushes small enough for 1/16 grout lines. This was NEVER previously told to me because I would not have proceeded with the work. I am devestated by the results for as much money as I spent and would do anything if I could go back to the way it was before.

Dan and his team do a fantastic job. The tile looks brand new and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Victory to anyone. Their work speaks for itself and when others see the tile and grout before and after they are simply amazed.

They were awesome. They came over to discuss the project beforehand, always arrived on time, did the work under budget, and worked around my travel schedule. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Unbelievable-- my bathroom looks 5,000% better

This was my first home remodeling experience and as a single woman I was very nervous about getting "snowed" by a contractor and that was certainly NOT the case here.

From the time I called for a consultation Jericho was friendly and professional. Rita, the Designer who came to my house to give me my estimate was friendly and accommodating. I was especially impressed that she arrived with samples for everything, it helped me visualize and feel more comfortable with the quote rather than others that just came by and took a look.

The Contractor that did the work was Pat and he was professional, friendly, prompt and just overall great. He had full access to the house throughout the project and was very respectful. Not only did I trust him to come and go when I wasn't home, he left the house clean everyday. You only knew that he was remodeling the bathroom if you looked in there. He gave me daily updates and he pointed out a potential plumbing issue I could run into in the future and I really felt that he had my best interest in mind.

We did the remodel in November 2013 and during the cold spell in January and February the grout around the window starting cracking. Jericho didn't hesitate to come out and seal it back for me. I had an appointment for 8 AM today and no one was here at 8:30. I called the offices and long story short, there had been some personnel changes and my appointment had been missed. This is the first mistake they had made so no big deal. Within a few minutes, Pat called me, he had been in the office, heard that I called and was over here within 30 minutes, sealed the window and was on his way. That is service my friends!

You will get cheaper quotes from other remodelers, Jericho is not going to be the cheapest. However, remember, you get what you pay for with these projects. I love my bathroom and would recommend Jericho all day!

I had hoped the grout would be replaced instead of caulking but it was bigger job than I had anticipated.  Sam actually recaulked the entire shower though which was a nice bonus.  I really liked him and would absolutely used him again for handyman services.

My old bathroom still had pink, molding tile in the shower and octagon pink and purple tile on the floor. Scott ripped up all the tile, replaced the moldy boards that were left behind, and re-tiled the whole thing. He was efficient, worked around my schedule, and did an excellent job. He was able to help me decide what would look best in the bathroom and now it looks 100% times better. The price included labor and materials. Scott is now going to put in granite countertops in my kitchen, a tile backsplash, and may paint my cabinets. I would recommend him to anybody and will definitely use him again.

The service went great. We purchased a couple upgrade options from them. They were very personable, helpful and my wife asked them a lot of questions and they answered them all. Their price seemed pretty reasonable.

I found HM on Angie's list and decided to give them a call. I was doing a major bathroom remodel. I made an estimate appointment for two days after my initial call . Laurie was running late, but called me regularly to ensure she was on her way. I explained that I was doing the demo myself, and needed someone to install a new ceiling fan (vent to outside), install a new GFCI, all new drywall, and tile the shower. She understood completely and offered to skim coat the ceiling too. Everything went well, and later that day I had a quote that was very reasonable, given the scope of the project.
I soon had a schedule from a project manager, with dates and names of who will be doing what on which day.
Throughout the process, they played well with my plumber, who often had to be in the same area as the workers.
Day 1: Ceiling fan and GFCI. Electrician was thorough, prompt and polite. The only minor complaint is that he didn't clean up, I would recommend that HM makes that requirement for future jobs.
Day 2: Drywall. HM subcontracted this out to another company. They shimmed the walls first, then installed cement board around the shower, and drywall elsewhere. No complaints.
Day 3-4-5: Tape and mud walls; skim the ceiling. This contractor was from the same company as the drywall guy, and he did a good job. Some spots on the wall were not quite as "paint-ready" as promised, but overall he did well. He worked for 3 days on this, it was pretty tedious.
Day 4-5-6: Tile. I was lucky to get Marc Graham for this. It was the most challenging part and I was worried about how it would be handled. But he did it like a champ. Very tedious work and he made it look amazing. He also fixed the previously installed electrical switches and outlets (on day 1). Because of the added wall thickness due to shimming, the face plates wouldn't fit properly. He also helped install trim and window casing.
Overall, a great company with reasonable prices. Make sure you request Marc, he can do just about anything, and can also quote the job for you.
