    Travel Concepts Inc
I was extremely pleased with the services provided. My agent, Carissa, booked us into top-flight hotels in great parts of town in both Greece and Madrid. SHe also found some excellent hotels for us in the Greek islands. She really took into account our interests (and various ages!) and designed a great vacation. She managed all aspects of the trip and it all went off without a hitch. We enjoyed tours, dinner shows and VIP experience from beginning to end.  She also handled one minor discrepancy with a tour operator and we avoided being overcharged. All the documents were packaged well and made the trip very easy. I highly recommend them for well-thought out travel planning.

    LOVE TO TRAVEL
We have used Love To Travel for maybe a dozen vacation destinations including Mexico many times, Jamaica, Florida Keys, and Dominican Republic. She is currently coordinating a group of about 30 going to Dominican Republic for us. While no vacation is 100% every time, I have to say I feel like Kim has done all the leg work to scout locations and iron out all the details that we wouldn't think of or be bothered with. We have been so pleased with the accommodations of the resorts she has booked us into and we have never had a problem with travel. The prices are fair and sometimes lower than we could find. And she has the patience to answer questions and prepares information in anticipation of questions. I feel like I am dealing with a person who has been there and done that and truly knows what to recommend based on experience.

We went to Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Sorrento, the Isle of Capri, and to a small hotel in a former monastery. Heather planned a spectacular start by having our own personal water taxi meet us at the airport in Venice. The water taxi then handed us off to a delightful young lady who escorted us directly to our hotel. Every hotel where we stayed was just the right size and was very romantic. Based upon her advice, we ended up staying at a fabulous 5-star hotel in Sorrento that incredible.
The only hitch on our trip was the tour of the Coluseum in Rome that I tried to ARRANGE ON MY OWN!
I whole-heartedly recommend Travel Concepts because they know this will be your trip, not theirs.

    Dream Vacations
No responsibility. The agent Kathy "forgot" to check out our documents (mistakes), "forgot" to book a hotel in Paris after the tour. Cosmos itself was a huge disappointment: poor quality (cheap motel like) hotels, no air conditioning on the motorcoach for TWO DAYS at 100F with no open windows, and a joke at the end - a $239.88 refund (by Cosmos - not by Preferred Travel) when we spent over $9000! No apology after. Silence. She got her commission from Cosmos - she DOES NOT CARE. Avoid!

    TRAVEL WITH TLC
I worked with other travel agents who told me my choice of agenda was  un-doable and not going to make me happy. Teri listened to my requests and was able to create an amazing travel plan for us. We started our vacation with my brother in Holland for three days. Then we rented a vehicle and drove the next 12 days across Belgium, France, Switzerland, and Germany. Then we completed our trip in Holland with my brother.
The car rental process was very smooth. Teri's team provided maps to each hotel location and an approximate cost for gasoline for us. This was very helpful! She also provided local things to do in each area and places to eat.
Then her team found us 4 and 5 star hotels along our route. We stayed at the following locations:
Hotel de Orangerie in Bruges, Belgium - it was magnificent.
Hotel Villa Lara in Bayeux, France - brand new and they upgraded us for free!
Hotel Lutetia in Paris - this was very well placed, directly across from the metro, easy access to the city and very elegant!
Hotel Regent Contades in Strasbourg, France - It was very sweet!
Hotel Krone Assmannshausen in the Middle Rhine area in Germany - this was a 450 year old hunting lodge and very charming.
Hotel Jumeirah in Frankfurt, Germany - they also upgraded us to an amazing suite!
Hotel Dom in Cologne, Germany - this was in the cathedral square and very nice as well!
The entire trip was divine. Knowing where we planned on staying each and every night was a welcome relief. I trusted that the hotels would meet our needs and they did.
This is the first trip we have planned with TLC, but I will be doing more with her help. I plan on many more adventures with the support of TLC!

    TRAVEL WITH TLC
Travel with TLC and Teri planned for us a rather "last minute" trip to Italy (we left in early August and didn't start planning wth her until mid to late June). We got TLC's information from Angie's List. When we first met with Teri, we had a very vague idea of where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. She was very helpful in guiding us to narrow the focus as well as suggesting activities and places to visit. Teri put together a suggested itinerary and after several e-mails, we arrived at a finalized plan. When we received all our documents, everything was together in a convenient and compact folder. We also received a detailed itinerary for each day that told us any information we needed. If we were meeting a walking guide, we knew when and where to meet him/her and had an Italy contact number for the person. If we were meeting a driver or getting a taxi after getting off a train, we were told where to walk once getting off the train and what signs to look for. If we had reservations at a museum, we had all the information we needed to get our tickets. Teri arranged our airplane and train tickets as well as a rental car for part of the time, and we had convenient vouchers to give to the hotels, guides, and drivers. We were extremely pleased with our trip and impressed with the package TLC was able to put together on a short timeline. Teri listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the itinerary, but if she thought we might not be happy with something we were considering, she didn't hesitate to share her thoughts. We appreciated this because we had not traveled to Italy before. When we take another such trip, we will be contacting Travel with TLC.

    TRAVEL WITH TLC
This is our first vacation outside the US. I had many questions about where to go in the Carribean, where to stay (resort, condo, hotel), how to get there, what to do there, etc. We have not even gone on our vacation yet and I can easily state that I am absolutely impressed with this outfit. The gang at TLC have been all over the world... Vicki is the Carribean specialist, and boy, does she know her stuff. Under Vicki's gentle guidance, we found a fantastic all-inclusive resort that will meet our travel goals: 1. have a great time, 2. eat exotic food, 3. sip "foo-foo" drinks on the beach watching the sunset, and 4. make memories. Vicki arranged it all... the resort, the airline and the travel insurance; and has been calming our fears about what we can do in case of a medical situation on our trip. I am keeping a journal on all of the "travel tips" she is telling us each time we chat on the phone. My general nature is to "figure this stuff out by myself"... and go for the cheapest cost. Well, I can see now, that that would have been a big mistake. There is so much to consider when taking a trip to a distant location and there is no way you can replicate the knowledge of an experienced traveler by looking stuff up on the web. Vicki was able to tell us, first hand, about the area we are going, what the beaches are like, where to go... and where to avoid. And Vicki was able to beat the lowest prices I found on the web. The folks at TLC never put me on hold, returned my calls within minutes and I always got the feeling that I was their most important client... when, in fact, I found them on Angie's list only a week ago. Fantastic outfit. Do your self a huge favor and call Travel with TLC the nest time you go someplace. As I stated, we have not gone anywhere yet and I am absolutely thrilled with this bunch.

    Acendas Travel
I needed to get to Portsmouth, Ohio, as soon as possible because of a critically ill relative. I always handle my own travel (I've travelled as a salesman for 30 years) but decided to use a travel agency because I needed a flight during spring break, and was having difficulty finding one. I selected this firm because of a good review on Angie's List. The agent found flights from Kansas City, to Milwaukee, then Columbus, Ohio where I could rent a car for the last leg of the journey. I had the agent book rooms and a rental car as well as, an accommodation so that the agent could benefit from the commissions. I prepaid $1,036.19 for my round trip flight and 4 hotel nights and rental car (compact). It was not until this transaction was complete and I picked up the paperwork that I discovered my agent had booked NON CANCELLABLE rooms and had booked me a departure flight with a connection in Milwaukee of 20 minutes between my plane's scheduled arrival and my connection's sheduled departure. This cliffhanger plane change was doomed from the beginning because my original flight was nearly an hour late. I learned I would be held over in Milwaukee and would not get to Columbus until very late at night. I immediately called to cancel the room in Portsmouth, OH. I was told that it was impossible because the room was booked on hotel.com and was non-cancellable. Had I booked the room with my credit card, they would have let me cancel the booking so long as I called before 6:00 PM. Thus I had to pay for this room and another room in Columbus, Ohio that night that I booked myself. Further, I paid for a rental car I did not use that first day, plus the rental car company demanded that I return the car 18 hours earlier than my paper work from the travel agency required. When my wife called to complain, we were essentially told it was the fault of the airline, the rental car company, and my fault for traveling at the last minute. Also, information about the non-cancellable rooms was in the paperwork which this agency did not provide UNTIL I HAD PAID IN FULL! That should have been up front.
