    MERRIAM HARDWARE
My mower had little power. It couldn't cut even moderately thick grass without bogging down. I took it to another shop and they thought they had it fixed but it wasn't. Had the same problem. I then took it to Merriam. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate on what it would cost to repair. I gave them the OK to repair it and it works great now.

Work was great, and the owner took the time to answer my questions. It took a little longer then expected (they estimated about 2 weeks and it took about 3-1/2 weeks). That said, it was just before the growing season began, and they were crammed with everybody's lawn equipment who waited till early spring to get the work done (me included). In the future, I'll drop ours off in the fall!

Rob Grant is very professional. He returned phone calls promptly and gave me an estimate prior to doing the the work . He provides pickup and delivery which is a great convenience. He did the work in the time promised and everything seems to be working well.

    SAVING YOU TIME
It was absolutely great! Mark came and picked up my mower the same day I called, Tuesday 28 February, and returned the mower that Friday, looking brand new and with a nicely sharpened blade. He also showed me how to periodically clean out the air filter and gave me some other maintenance tips that were much appreciated. He replaced the sprinkler head at the same time he brought the mower back. It was all so quick, easy and so reasonably priced. I will definitely call Saving You Time for any future mower maintenance and lawncare needs.

Tucker Turf and Small Engine Repair
Picked up my riding mower to fix it, kept it for 3 weeks, returned it with the same probkem. Charged me again to pick it up and fix it, even though the technician told me it was a simple problem that they should have found. Poor communication in terms of how long it will take to do the work, poor customer service. I won't use them again.

No other shop could make the repair as quickly as he could. All of them had longer return dates. My experience at the shop was fine. However, he never did figure out exactly what was wrong with the clutch. I spent about 300. A year later the mower wouldn't start. I took it elsewhere and they had to rebuild the carburetor again, and I finally got the clutch fixed. In all fairness, this mower had sat unused for three or four years, so it might not be fair to say he did an inadequate job on the carburetor. So I wouldn't rule out using him again, but I will definitely compare prices before selecting him. He is very nice and profession and I would like to see him do well. I enjoyed visiting with him. So unless I'm willing to haul my  mower out of town to another mechanic, RG would be my choice in the city of Olathe.

    Mower Doctor
The mower quit working and I thought I needed a new belt for the transmission. HE told me he would look at it  within two days and warned me that it would be at least a week before I got it back If I chose the have him fix it. He determined the carburetor needed to be rebuilt and the Transmission belt was fine, but a bolt had fallen out of the clutch assembly. It cost me $167 to fix and I got it back on time. I even noticed that  he had replaced some bolts I was missing on the body of the mower at no charge. He was considerably cheaper than the $300 I would have paid elsewhere. This guy is very polite and personable. He is easy to talk to. vI will definitely return for any future needs.

Rob did a great job fixing a 30+ year rototiller.  Even though certain parts were no longer being made, he was able to get it started and provided me with some tips to keep it working.  Rob is in demand so ask when you will be able to get your equipment back. I will use R & G again.

    Fixin' Lawnmowers
Brent (owner) was polite  and professional.  He ran into some problems as service on this machine was overdue. But he was tenacious and kept me informed all along the way.  There's no doubt I would recommend him AND use him again in the future.

    Fixin' Lawnmowers
The owner was very astute in quickly eliminating potential issues and determining the root cause of the issue.
The adapter needed to be ground off and I brought the mower home and did the grinding myself.
They went above and beyond expectations by telling me where to find the parts information that I needed and giving me contact information for local parts stores.
