    Artistic Concrete Coatings
My wife and I hired Paul from KC Artistic Concrete to refinish our concrete basement floors during a remodel last year. At first, we were both impressed with Pauls experience, photos of finished work, and his prompt service. For around $8,000, he did an epoxy floor in our gym, sealed the utility rooms, and did a marble-type epoxy floor in the main living space. He even threw in a free sealing of our limestone bar since that wasnt done by the previous owners. His crew was very timely and professional during installation. Unfortunately, the color placed in the gym was wrong - ending up brown instead of blue. To Pauls credit, he refinished the floor at no cost, I think because we had picked the color number directly off of the companys website and the paint supplier had changed numbers without notification. This was a minor annoyance, but since it was redone to our satisfaction, no harm done. However, the reason for this lousy review has to do with the main living space. After the floor was done, it was the most beautiful concrete finish Id ever seen. It was like a single piece of glass-smooth grey and white marble with some other colors mixed in for accents. Probably the coolest thing Ive ever had in a house. About 2 weeks later, we started to notice some bubbling in the paint coating. Much to our dismay, the entire floor began bubbling, making that glass smooth surface noticeably rough to look at and to walk on. We had Paul come back to see what had happened and the bubbles turned out to be water underneath the slab, pushing up the coating from below. If you didnt see it immediately after it was done, you probably wouldnt notice until we point it out to you, but we certainly notice. It is ugly now and needs to be completely redone. Therein lies the problem. Paul assured us that he uses the best products to seal the basement and offered us a 10-year warranty. As it turns out, I didnt read it carefully enough as it states that Not responsible for water damage from leaking pipes, receptacles, or slab moisture transmission and/or hydrostatic pressure appearing on this project. What the warranty actually covers is beyond me as I specifically hired him to seal the basement from moisture and that wasnt actually covered. Shame on me for not reading carefully and trusting in a handshake. Anyway, we had another contractor look at the floor and the second opinion revealed that the slab should have been tested for moisture content and the products used by Paul should have been selected based on that information. As Paul didnt do that, I felt that he should fix the floor. When contacted, he stated I cant and wont absorb the entire cost of refinishing the floor. So, in order to get our floor back to presentable condition, we would have to pay several thousand more for someone that didnt do his homework. No thank you. So, your experience may vary here, but if you are trying to finish a concrete slab indoors, I would recommend getting a bid from someone that knows how to seal out moisture before shelling out good money to KC Artistic Concrete.

    Concrete Concepts
Final product was terrible... blotchy and discolored. I was hesitant to pay in full, but Jason (owner) told me to trust him and the problem would go away. I paid him in full. Ten months later the problem hasnt gone away and he wont return my calls. He is dishonest and I dont recommend Concrete Concepts.

    Concrete Concepts
The stamped patio came out nice, but the brick edging did not last one season, The bricks have sunk and separated from the patio and have fallen off in multiple places. All the concrete area underneath the brick is crumbling and will continue to sink. I have repeatedly tried to contact the owner of Concrete Concepts. He assured me he will fix it, but he does not return my calls and texts and he does not come when he says he will. This has been going on for months. Now it is winter and it is too late to get it fixed this season. I got an estimate from another contractor of $1000 to get this fixed. This is very upsetting because we spent over 10K on the project. He told me he was coming the week of 11/12/2018. He did not come and did not call to cancel or explain. I gave a fair rating only because the stamped portion of the patio is okay.

SealGreen - Concrete Cleaning, Sealing & Staining
I drove to Seal Green and picked up the paint and some other supplies. I repainted the stoop today. It looks wonderful. I'm grateful to Mike and Connie for helping me out and tutoring me along the way. This paint, called Smith's, isn't your normal paint. It's a fluid you've got to nurse onto the concrete. Mike told me what to do. I did it. And even my style-savvy daughter loves it. "100 percent better," she said.

    Walker Concrete
Darrell Walker did an excellent job tuckpointing and resurfacing our stone/concrete porches. He was consistently prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Darrell stands by his work, and can be counted on to get the job done correctly. I highly recommend Walker Concrete.

AWFUL. work was not performed as promise, uneven Flaking and crumbling already. drain ran uphill, ponding. looks worse than before done and will require complete tear out to repair. TERRIBLE I received a partial refund and therefore can not give them the F they deserve, can only give minimum C to be seen on reviews

    Modern Concrete, Inc.
Caleb came out promptly and as scheduled to look at what we wanted to have done. We also talked about a backyard patio/fire pit as well. He said he would send an estimate by email but never did. Has been 4 weeks now since he was here. I left several voicemail messages for him, also talked to the owner Juan twice, who assured me they'd get a bid to me....never heard back from either one of them and never received a bid for any of the work. Too bad, I was excited to work with them and am very disappointed in their lack of response.

    Modern Concrete, Inc.
The process went perfect! Caleb was very easy to work with, he was on time and professional. He explained everything they would be doing and explained it would be very difficult to match the color of my existing concrete, which I understood. The two guys that actually did the repairs were very meticulous in their work. They did a fantastic job and matched the color better than I had expected. Miguel even came back on a Friday evening to do more touch up then came back that Saturday to finish it. He was so conscientious about trying to match the color as best he could and make sure everything was perfect. He even gave me extra of the color in case I needed it in the future. These guys take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. I couldn't be happier!!

    Probuilt Patio Enclosures

They started with the patio room; then completed a new stamped concrete patio (20 X 13).  I had gotten 3 bids for my driveway, front porch and sidewalk on the side of the house.  They put stamped concrete steps and porch as well as the sidewalk on the side of the house going back to the patio room.  They then gave me a bid for a stone retaining wall for which I had already bought the stone (on 5 pallets) that I had sitting in my front yard.  I jumped at that bid, since I really did not have the expertise to do it myself, and their bid was excellent price wise and their quality of work surpassed anything I could have attempted.

I also had them build a new fence (replaced the piece-meal old one) of double sided cedar and got to watch them do probably 40 percent of the install (including digging the posthole and putting in concrete).

Once the work was done they were as well.  Very slow to respond and poor customer service post sale.  They spent more time defending and practically no time assisting.  They do not "own" what they sell or represent.
