    Louie & Son Excavating
Excellent! I was in direct contact with Louie the whole time, he quoted a fair offer for the work to be done, only needed photos for the estimate, and answered all of my questions in excellent detail. He also got me in much sooner than any of the competition could even come out for a physical estimate.

    Foundation 1
The Foundation 1 crew was polite, respectful and worked diligently. They arrived on time, Cody, the foreman, explained the scope of project that day, and they cleaned up as much possible. I trusted the crew in my home when I left, and I trusted them to let themselves in and lock the door at the end of the day, when I was not available. I got 4 bids to do this work. I chose Foundation 1, because the bid made sense and they followed my structural engineers report. (One company tried to pressure sell me excessive repairs) When the project was almost completed, Foundation 1 hired the structural engineer Id originally hired, to make sure theyd followed the scope of work he suggested on the report. To me, that was impressive. Weve had no water in the basement since the above work was completed. What a relief!

We had been dealing with water problems in our unfinished basement for quite a while. Also, one wall was buckling and 3 other walls had moved in about an inch or so. It was past time to solve these problems. I contacted Foudation 1. Dave Zwickel came and did an thorough evaluation. I was impressed with his knowledge an expertise. At his suggestion, I contacted a structural engineer (Keith Boyd) who verified that we needed an interior drainage system with sump pumps to discharge the water and that our walls required structural supports to prevent further movement. I contracted Foundation 1 to do the work. The crew arrived on schedule and went to work installing a DuraDry waterproofing drain system along 3 sides of the basement and 2 sump pumps with battery powered backups. They also installed 28 steel beam wall supports. They work hard and did a fantastic job. The foreman, Ken, and project manager, Tom McNerney, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns promptly. When the project was finished Tom and the owner, Curt Clinkinbeard, came and looked over everything to make sure I was satisfied. I appreciated that. My basement is now dry as a bone and I'm confident it will remain that way. We now have much more usable space in our home. I am very pleased with the expertise and professionalism of Foundation 1 and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who needs foundation and drainage work.

    Foundation Recovery Systems
At this moment I do not know if it is a success. I will know more as the rains come. I can address the issues that I found while dealing with the company. ..Once the contract is signed to do the work, additional work to prepare the basement for installation begin to come to light. For me it was the removal of my bathroom, addition of two electrical outlets. Added about $5,000 to final cost (done by companies I had to hire) ..Work date was about 2.5 months from signing of contract. No follow through except the week before to double check date of install. ..Initial crew showed up to do install and refused to the install because they did not have enough room to work. The Sales Rep. assured me I would not have to move all basement items out. (not true). Plus this crew stated that mud would be all over the place once they began to work..(not true). Second crew showed up for install after I removed and stored basement contents in the garage. Issues ...Crew members being asked to leave and left in order to work on in house projects in the middle of mine. ...Crew complaining about dealing with rock basement and plumbing and gas lines that were attached to wall. ...Basement floor was painted and in relatively good shape, after install it is chipped, scarred and will need to be cleaned and repainted.... and there is concrete stuck to the floor and dust on the plastic walls and odor that permeates the house of wet concrete, and plastic even a week later. ...Removed utility sink, did not reinstall and tried to leave it in the yard...and now it is broken...and I have no access to water in order to clean. Not the quality I was expecting but I want others to know what to ask about before getting involved in the basement waterproofing work done by this company. Like I said , I do not know if this waterproofing job was done correctly or will work, I only know the facts that I have listed above. (not true)

    Dry Basement Foundation Repair
The guys were friendly enough. Arrived on time. The job itself looks a bit sloppy. Don't think that the cracks and leaks were actually fixed. A membrane was just put up on the wall. In a couple of places, it appears that the membrane may separate from the wall. Clean up was not done very well. I am still sweeping pieces of concrete rubble. As I was going through the final walk through, I noticed that an antique crockery urn had been busted into several pieces. Not sure how it could have been broken as I had placed it out of the way. If I had not noticed, I don't think anything would have been said about it.

    Foundation 1
We were in the process of finishing our basement and wanted to prevent future water damage - Foundation 1 KC impressed us from the initial consult. They took their time looking through the interior and exterior of our house looking for anything that could be a future problem. They were incredibly honest with their work plan and did not do more than they truly felt was necessary. I can not recommend them more highly. Great work - honest people. We are grateful for their service. Jack Monahan

    Foundation 1
Arrived on time, extremely hard working crew that worked in extremely cold temperatures. The crew was always supervised by project foreman. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The foreman kept me updated & informed on the progress & process throughout the project. They also reinstalled the landscape blocks that had to be removed for the pier work. I have used them twice before on other areas of my home with great reviews from the structural engineer that I hired to evaluate my homes needs.

    Foundation King
The install of the window and sump pump went fine. However, they ran out of time on the second day and could not pour the concrete to complete the job. Because of the weather it was a week before they came back to finish and had left a large pile of dirt that turned to mud with all the rain. When they finished they left a tremendous mess of mud in the back patio and tracked mud through the back patio to the garage and driveway. I called the office and spoke with Crystal who said she would speak with the foreman of the crew and get back with me. I sent her the pictures attached to the review and never heard back. We had to purchase a pressure washer and have spent over ten hours cleaning up the mess.
