Joyce Delviscovo- the director of this facility allowed my grand daughter to be jailed in a pen for over four hours, which is against Kansas law To everyone else visiting the reviews of this facility, my grand daughter was placed in a pen ALL DAY! An employee who confirmed this to my daughter was fired for being a whistle blower. This facility is deplorable and should not be in business. The facility is under investigation my the state.

    Dickson-Diveley Midwest Orthopaedic Clinic
I met with Dr. Shriwise seeking a second opinion for a diagnosis of needing a full hip replacement. At the age of 47, I was not excited about the thought of this procedure so I sought a second opinion at the Dickson Diveley Center. I was happy when Dr. Shriwise told me I had several options on the table before a full replacement. I've not made a decision on what procedure I will have done yet. But, I will have it done by Dr. Shriwise. Great bed side manner, and seemed to really care about my health.

    Mary Zhang
I love Dr. Mary. I tried several acupuncturists before I found her, and she is head and shoulders above the rest. I was suffering severe morning sickness, and after visiting her, she cured my nausea. My blood pressure dropped and acupuncture really helped me relax and feel better overall during my pregnancy. I have several friends who went for fertility acupuncture, and she helped everyone get (and more importantly for some, she helped them keep pregnant). She also helped a friend with pain management. I highly recommend her!

Kansas City, MO 0 friends 2 reviews Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 1.0 star rating 5/6/2017 had foot surgery last july , staff was fine ; reviewed my medical records; from the dr who perfomed my surgery. found a noted dated the day of surgery that he gave me an RX for pain meds (narcotic) while at the surgicenter.. Unfortunately , I was not given an RX on that day, As I am an RN this is a problem for me as I don't know the whereabouts of the narcotic RX . I received my rx weeks before at the dr's office. When I brought it to the attention of the hospital, they felt no kind of responsibility to me because it wasn't written in my hospital chart. Since the podiatrist won't talk, I at least thought the hospital would at least tell me if the RX was handwritten or generated off a computer.and what the procedure is when giving RX's to a pt before discharge. Had to go file a police report and go to the DEA ; also asked to put certain documentation in my medical records at the surgicenter, They never responded to my letter. I have no trust in either the Surgicenter or the podiatrist. Would never select another HCA facility to have care at.

I worked with Greg Hollenbeck. I am very pleased with my results and highly recommend Greg. He has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is very knowledgeable about body mechanics. He is an excellent listener he changed up my exercises often based on my feedback. He is very forthright about expectations. Easy to work with and always encouraging and fun to boot. Two specific high points worthy of mention appts w/Greg were always one-on-one and I didnt feel like I was given an off-the-shelf program. He paid close attention that the muscles that were supposed to be working were actually working. If I wasnt doing an exercise correctly, he stuck with me until he was sure I was getting the intended benefit. OR if he determined I didnt have the strength to do an exercise correctly, he scrapped it for the time being. The personal attention made all the difference. I did 5 mo of therapy initially 2x wk, then 1x wk and finally every other wk. The nerve pain I was experiencing is completely gone, I have great range of motion, much improved strength and for the most part dont think about my injured shoulder. I feel like Im pretty much back to life as I knew it before injury/surgeries. Even though Ive been released I continue to work on strength building by doing my regimen daily.

Since I had successful PT with Danny five years ago after my right hip replacement, I didn't hesitate to return this time after my left hip needed replacement. His measured and individualized approach worked wonders both times. It helped to build up strength and mobility and I am totally pain-free. Between both surgeries I also returned several times for personal training and will continue to do so. Danny gives me several sets of exercises I can do at my local gym or at home, and it is fun to notice so much progress.

Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic
They operate like a medical practice should. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, having had x-rays, a good exam and discussion with P.A. Ann Coppage, a cortisone shot and a referral for physical therapy. Cannot say enough good things about the overall experience.

    Zen Massage
The place is small, clean, well furnished. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. I've had several good therapists there, and two who cater to my very tight neck/shoulder/back muscles. The price is affordable and they are busy, but I hardly ever have too much trouble getting an appointment in the next day or two.

    Fulk Chiropractic
Given "an assessment" that was BS. Totally superficial and irrelevant. Irrelevant being reflex testing was the assessment- nothing else with no Xray. When Dr. Fulk adjusted my back, he adjusted my spine, but not my lumbar where my problem was. My Sacro Illiac was not adjusted. I was told repeatedly that I was adjusted well and come back tomorrow, though I knew I was not fixed nor feeling better after 4 days of the same adjustment. My comments and complaints were ignored.

    Sherry B Massage
I fell and had some bulged disks in my back. The doctor gave me pain meds and over 2 months recommended acupuncture, chiropractic and pain shots. After 3 months the pain was less but still very much present. A friend gave me Sherry?s name and after just about 5 sessions I finally got relief from the pain in my back, hips, and leg. Most massages I had ever had were glorified back rubs. NOT Sherry?s ?..She has done wonders in relieving the pain. Her knowledge of muscles, joints and how they relate to each other is astounding. I consider her essential to my overall health. Sherry is a people person and really listens to you, to make sure she understands exactly what areas are trouble. By the end of your massage, you will leave feeling much better. I highly recommend Sherry, you won?t be disappointed!
