    Brogan Painting & Remodeling
Brogan Painting did an awesome job with Wood Rot Repair and Painting the Exterior of our home. Their crews were hard working and professional. They were obviously all very experienced and took pride in their work. They put in long hours and were able to finish the job in 3 days. All of our neighbors made a point of coming over to tell us how amazing our house looked and how impressed they were with Brogan's crews. Joe was great to work with and his crews were awesome, especially Jose and Jimmy who spent extra time on the last day to be sure everything was done to our satisfaction before they left. We will recommend them to our friends and would definitely use them again.

    AA Construction & Remodeling L.L.C.
Amazing. AA construction had previously completed remodeling of 3 bathrooms, entire basement, all interior doors, installed French doors and double exterior doors. They also installed remote blinds and customer crafted bathroom vanity and a cabinet. During the exterior job of demolishing a deck and patio, AA also supervised a new poured patio and installed a beautiful cedar deck with custom balusters. They removed a window and installed double doors to connect the deck. AA had tremendously innovative and welcomed ideas for details to the construction. They listen to the client. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would hire them again.

    Rapid Remodeling LLC
Was very professional. Worked with my schedule - was very accommodating. Came out on a Sunday to do the bid and I didnt have to take off work to be home. The painting was done very efficiently and they cleaned up everything. Put everything back that they moved. Very pleased and would hire again.

    Brogan Painting & Remodeling
The process went quite smoothly. The drywall repairs look very good, and the painters did a nice job. They worked 10 - 12 hour days and cleaned up nicely each day. We also had stair railings refinished and new iron spindles installed. The house looks new.

Everything went smoothly without a hitch. They came, assessed repairs, provided a timely quote and provided services in a timely manner without pushing to just get it done. Always acted professionally.

    Renovation Pros
I'm going to start this review by mentioning that we are very detail oriented people, and are very particular about the end result of a project like this, especially when involves an expense of this size. I will also say that most of our concerns were addressed and corrected, so that the end result looks fine. Communication throughout the process was satisfactory and responses were timely. In the interest of full disclosure, we were somewhat indecisive with the backsplash tile, which caused some complications with timing. With that said, if you are detail oriented be prepared to be frustrated. Throughout the process we were informed that we simply needed to wait until the end and our issues would be addressed or corrected on their own. We were told multiple times that what we asked had "never been asked before." Several times I was personally made to feel that my requests were unreasonable or that it was inconceivable that I would even be bringing up the issue. Here are some specific issues that came up (there were countless smaller ones): 1. We had agreed on a stain color via a sample that was provided to us before the project started, which we used to pick out our countertop. When the project began, the wrong color stain (too dark) was applied to the refacing material (veneer), which was then glued and stapled to the existing cabinetry while we were absent. It was only removed at my insistence that it did not match the sample, which was only acknowedged when I literally held up the sample to the newly refaced cabinets to prove the discrepancy. 2. The subcontracted plumber had to return to the house twice(!) to fix a leaking drain, and could not figure out how to service a reverse osmosis faucet. 3. We had to contact and arrange to work with a different plumber to correct the damaged reverse osmosis faucet. 4. The countertop was installed crooked and not flush with the pantry wall beside it, and was not corrected until we mentioned it. 5. The cabinets that were made new were mismeasured, so that the countertop edge sat flush with the cabinet below it, with no overhang. The countertop was actually installed onto the cabinet despite this issue, and was only corrected when we mentioned the complete lack of overhang. 6. One of the new cabinets was mounted 1.5" higher than the matching cabinet on the other side of the pantry, and I was told " do catch details" before it was corrected. 7. In one section, the refacing material (veneer) on one toekick was approximately one inch shorter than all others, exposing the lighter wood beneath, which you could see from across the living room. 8. The right-side pantry door was warped 1/4" from top to bottom (bowed). A new set of pantry doors were made to replace them... which also had a warped door, but on the left side instead. These new doors were also stained a darker shade than the cabinets around them (and the previous pantry doors), so we couldn't use them. When we pressed the issue (and since it was the last issue of the project) it was decided by both parties to complete the transaction and part ways without correcting the pantry door. We were told that " is natural wood, it's going to warp when the piece is that long." This pantry discussion did not go well; the contractor was visibly upset and made it quite clear that I was completely unreasonable. As far as the timeline goes... our project took 6 weeks (8, if you count the pantry doors), when it was originally slated to take 3. Additionally, I was regularly given notification that they would be at my home at a certain time or on a certain day, only to be notified shortly before (or just find out when they didn't show up) that the time had changed to later that day, or to another day entirely. We found ourselves doubting the schedule we were given because it had changed so many times. I began the renovation with the expectation that every part of the process would be taken care of, and that I would be in the hands of "Renovation Pros"... able to sit back and watch my kitchen be transformed. While my kitchen has indeed been transformed, it was necessary for me to become personally involved in virtually every portion of the project: from the measurement, installation, and stain color of the cabinets, to the countertop installation, to the plumbing, to the tile installation, and to the electric/outlet installation. The days where I was not personally home overseeing the project, I would walk in and find multiple mistakes. I felt it necessary to act as the project manager and mention each issue, lest they be worked around or left for the end result. On several occasions I had to communicate with the subcontractors directly, rather than go through the company I hired to do the job. In summary, if you're intending to use Renovation Pros, know that you must be very specific about your requirements at the beginning of the project, as shortcuts or mistakes will most likely be made throughout the process.

    Painting Innovations
We have been very pleased with their service the two separate times that they were used. For the interior kitchen cabinet painting, they were very efficient and kept us posted on their progress. For the exterior paint, we were very impressed with William and his buddy who worked in the crazy Kansas heat. They were very professional and cleaned up well after they were finished! Now we just need to find another area of our house to remodel so that we can use this company again! I highly recommend them!

    Jorge Jimenez Drywall
Jorge was amazing! I have never seen anyone work so fast. His work is beautiful and he managed to fit our job in within just 2 days of our estimate. I am so HAPPY! I wish we had met Jorge years ago. I'm actually calling him again today for another job.

    Marlon The Handyman
This is the second time we've hired Marlon and his assistant Chris to do work at our home. We didn't bother getting estimates from anyone else because we know that Marlon is fair and honest in his pricing and workmanship. He and Chris always get the job done right and in a timely manner. Scope of Work: 1).They repaired and reinforced our broken deck steps. 2).They built a new step from the side door of our garage where no step had previously existed in order to eliminate the 10 inch drop off from the garage to outside. 3). They tore out and replaced all the rotted landscape timbers around a raised flower bed that runs the entire length of the back of our home. 4).They installed a paver stone landing area at the bottom of the deck steps where the soil had eroded from our big dogs jumping down into the yard and wearing out all the turf (no more giant mud pit at the bottom of the steps!).
