Joyce Delviscovo- the director of this facility allowed my grand daughter to be jailed in a pen for over four hours, which is against Kansas law To everyone else visiting the reviews of this facility, my grand daughter was placed in a pen ALL DAY! An employee who confirmed this to my daughter was fired for being a whistle blower. This facility is deplorable and should not be in business. The facility is under investigation my the state.

Everything was great. After going to several other doctors and being misdiagnosed or simply dismissed and told to continue to wait, Dr. Bembynista was recommended by our chiropractor. He immediately pinpointed the issues with my son's foot. He put a cast on and within weeks my son was fully healed and back to normal activities. Could not be more pleased with the care we received.

Massage from 2 different therapists was fine but when I got comfortable with one they'd be gone after a few visits. Staff turnover is obviously a problem. The counter staff is often changing too. Makes me wonder about management.

The place is small, clean, well furnished. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. I've had several good therapists there, and two who cater to my very tight neck/shoulder/back muscles. The price is affordable and they are busy, but I hardly ever have too much trouble getting an appointment in the next day or two.

Dr. Koreckij is a very caring, compassionate and skilled surgeon. While he rightly is conservative regarding treatment alternatives (e.g., trying physical therapy and/or injections), he possesses a great deal of common sense when it is obvious that a structural defect can only be repaired surgically.  This is precisely what happened in my case.
This was my third(!) cervical surgery, so it presented Dr. Koreckij with a quite challenging (his words) bit of scar tissue to contend with. That said, the surgery was a success and he has been very attentive and caring in following up as I have recovered.
His care staff (supporting nurse, etc.) is quite empathetic. My only complaint is with the attitude of the reception staff, who always seem to be bothered when people check in or ask questions. That is a Dickson-Dively issue, not Dr. Koreckij's. There's no reason for them to act that way; if they don't want to be bothered by "customers" (patients), they should not have jobs that require them to interact with those patients.

I have been going to Dr. Cobb for years. Dr. Cobb, who initially treated me for stiff neck muscles that were only partially released by a physical therapist, restored the full range of motion in my neck. Dr. Cobb is consistently professional and competently provides appropriate medical treatment to remedy chronic complaints and injuries. Dr. Cobb's staff is wonderful, courteous and caring.

The laminectomy went well. I had immediate pain relief in the sciatic nerve. The pain afterward from the surgery itself was terrible, but I was warned to expect that. (It's one of those surgeries that you have to feel worse to get better.) I was not allowed to do much of anything for the next 8 weeks after surgery, except lie in bed and sit in a chair if I could stand it. In order to minimize scar tissue forming, I was not allowed to work, ride in a car or walk on uneven ground. The prescribed pain pills made me feel crazy in the head, so I just took ibuprofen and watched a lot of TV on my side. There was a lot of pain during healing. However, people who can take pain pills well would not suffer a great deal of pain. When I went back to Dr. Romito for followup visits, my healing progressed nicely. He eventually sent me to physical therapy, which helped strengthen muscles and regain fuctioning beyond words. (Never skip physical therapy if your insurance will cover it.) Total time off work and physical therapy was 8 weeks. I was able to experience my first pain-free day approximately 7 months after initial onset of the problem. That seems like a long time, but when you consider the degree of severity and the healing process for that type of surgery (cutting through all those muscles in the back and fixing the problem), that timeframe is acceptable to me. Now, 18 years later I am fine and pain free. I was not able to regain all of the feeling in my left calf and foot, but I'm okay with that. My back is good and I'm just careful how I walk since there is limited feeling.  Yes. I would recommend Dr. Romito in a heartbeat. I hope I don't ever have another back problem, But if I did I go back to him. He's got to be getting up in years, but as long as he's in practice, I'd see him. His physician's assistant (I forget her name) is nice also. Hope this review helps anyone who is considering him.

This is an excellent organization, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. My physical therapist (Chris) worked with me to get my range of motion well beyond my surgeon's goal. (Pre-op I had 100° range of motion. My surgeon's goal was to increase that to 110°. Working with Chris, we got it to 118° -- which allows me to again ride a bicycle.) All milestones for each patient are computerized, so that if another therapist works with you for a given exercise, he or she knows exactly what you've been doing and what your goals and limits are. An option, if you want it, is to have your joint iced down after your workout. Do it! I feels great and is very relaxing.

These guys are awesome. This is the needle in the haystack of Kansas City area chiropractors. Its a moderately sized practice, but not too small. They know me by name. Highly skilled. Great bedside manner. Phenomenal results. I know what its like to search and search for the best chiropractors in town, stopping looking, these are your guys.

Still being pretty active and working out regularly seems to cause a number of issues the closer to 50 I get.  Therefore, I often need\want massages and generally prefer them to be firm or specifically more the deep tissue variety.  I only add that context as I'm possibly a little picker than your average person looking for a basic Swedish massage. That being said, the massage was very average overall, and I had to laugh to myself when the masseuse actually stated that they normally weren't that good.  Again, very very nice overall but the massage really didn't live up to what I'd hoped for that day.  Still looking to find that great place that doesn't cost a fortune to regularly visit.
