    GREG BAKER PAINTING
Greg Baker Painting did an excellent job. The crew power washed the house, taped up the windows, repaired any rotten shingles, etc., that they encountered. The house was painted in just over two days and the area was completely cleaned up. We had them paint our house back in 2004, and that job was so good, and looked good for so long, that we wanted to make sure we got them back.

    Matthew M Stieg Painting
Matthew was great to work with; he submitted a bid and we made a few mutually agreed upon additions. His crew was punctual, courteous, and professional. He was on the job personally at least once each day and he and the crew were very responsive to any suggestions which we made.

    Platinum Painting Inc.

From the very first day I could see that the  Platinum Painters were a well organized and experienced group of professionals. Their attention to prepping our home was so detailed. The results are reflected in the finished product.

My wife and I both were so impressed with the courteous and friendly nature of all the crew. You knew they wanted us to be satisfied with their performance. They left each day with everything picked up, equipment, trash, etc.  just like you would want it.

They completed the job earlier  than expected.  My wife and I did a final walk around and both agreed it looked spectacular.  we did not find any areas of concern that would have them to return.

Based on their job performance on the house, I have contracted Platinum to restore my large deck to a finish that will compliment the work they did on our residence.

It was our pleasure having Charlie and the Platinum crew around for a few days.  If you are considering a company to perform to the highest standard, you need to seriously talk to Charlie Gates.  You will not be disappointed.

    Partners N Painting LLC
Kris was fantastic. He's a very personable guy. He showed up on time every day and got right to work.
I had 16 hours to use his skills. I altered my original plan several times and Kris adapted easily.
He went above and beyond...when power washing the garage doors and front entry, he also washed the front entry floor and a big portion of my driveway.  Loved that!
The painting and repairs we're very well done and he always cleaned up at the end of the day.
If I ever need any more painting, Kris is the one I'd call.

    Kevin Turner Painting
    Excellent.  Highly recommended. Great value.
Kevin and his crew (4 others, with whom he works regularly) were punctual, considerate, professional.  He did several repairs on damaged shingles, a screen, and a rotten board on the screened porch, which turned out to have a larger rotted board underneath.  He did a fine job of seamlessly replacing them both, including having to shave one board down, as they don't make that size board anymore (our house was built in 1942).  He did other minor repairs as needed, and when a couple of our shutters were found damaged, he found where I could get replacements (custom was needed), and is painting them at home, before bringing them to install.  He was a helpful consultant when I was trying to decide several things, even advising me to not do certain things, as it was not worth the cost.
Also quick.  They power-washed the week before, then took only 4 days to complete the painting.
    A pleasure to work with.

    Renew Crew of Johnson County
I cannot thank these guys enough; I was in a pickle, and they really pulled through. Like many, I decided I wanted to refinish my 20 x 20 cedar deck by myself. Read up on it, chose a cleaner and a solid stain at Home Depot, blocked off a weekend, and did the work. Despite there being "enough" drying time (according to the directions), heavy rainfall days after the application of the solid stain really mucked up the deck. Peeling, bubbling, and just general nastiness within a week. I was at a loss. Some of the stain took, but a large majority didn't. I called around to several places I found on Angie's List, and sent out a handful of emails also. Most of them thought I would be S.O.L. as far as getting the stain off, and being able to re-stain. I had another deck company coming out to look at my situation two days after I contacted providers, but Wayne from Renew Crew called before that visit happened. I told him the frustrating story, and he affirmed that if the old stain was going to come off, it had to happen ASAP. That very afternoon, he sent out Philip and one of their techs with their power washer/cleaner gear just to "test" how much the stain had set in. At first, Philip said they'd be able to get it off, but I'd have to go with a solid stain afterwards. He explained WHY the solid stain that I purchased didn't hold (and surprisingly, it largely was not my fault. . . just the product's formulation). Phillip and I worked through the pricing/color details, he gave me a quote, and promised that no matter how much of a pain in the a$$ it would be to do the job, the price would not budge. I went back to work, and they were STILL THERE when I got home finishing up the washing, even Philip himself was making sure that every single spot was free of old stain. I was amazed. The best part was that they were able to get enough off that I could have a semi-transparent stain in the end. And, sure enough, a mere TWO DAYS later they came out and finished up the job beautifully with a semi-transparent cedar. Since then, the stain looks better and better every week. It's been raining randomly with all sorts of temperature fluctuations in Johnson County this summer. . . and the job still looks magnificent. Now, if I could only prevent the squirrels from chucking black walnuts onto the deck, I'd be a happy man. Stellar service, delivered with amazing confidence, knowledge, and care. I'm just going to use these guys from now on when it comes to a refresh on the non-vertical surfaces (every 2 years) and vertical surfaces (3-4 years).

    Crestwood Painting
This spring I was impressed with the work of Crestwood Painting on a house that was on a remodeling tour. I called Mike for an estimate on painting my house exterior. He came out promptly and was very professional. He listened to my concerns about the serious paint failure on my house, and carefully explained to me the level of preparation that he would recommend. He provided a reasonable price considering the amount of powerwashing and scrapping that would need to occur. Mike and his crew shortly began work and completed the work on time. I was very impressed with the powerwashing and scrapping that removed virtually all of the loose paint that could reasonably be removed. Primer was applied one day and the body coat and trim were painted the next day. Cleanup was very good as well. Now my house looks better than it ever has. I would highly recommend Mike and his crew.

    Bates Painting Co
Excellent results. One of the higher estimates for the work, but it was cheap at twice the price. We contracted for the house to be painted prior to the sale of our home. I gave the company very short notice and Doug Bates arranged their schedule to meet our needs. The workman were punctual and diligent every day for the 4 days it took to paint the house. Doug came by every day to make sure we were pleased with the progress and results. The workmen were friendly and responsive to my husband who likes to chat. The foreman also helped my husband to remove a wrought iron post on the porch and replace it with a classy column which was outside the scope of the contract. Repairs were made beautifully and the painting perfect. Care was taken to protect new decking. Our home is now the best-looking house on the block and has great curb appeal. We feel that the increase in market price more than justified the cost.

    Jameson Remodeling & Home Repair
I have had this company work at my house for over a year doing many different jobs. Some as small as replacing outside lights and as large as completely rebuilding my kitchen after extensive water and mold damage. I would not think of calling anyone else.
