  • Dr. Burch's staff is always friendly, professional and punctual. My family has been a patient of Dr. Burch for years. When you find a dentist who is painless it's easy to feel confident to recommend his office to friends and professional acquaintances.

  • The partial fractured my upper teeth and knocked two of them out of my mouth at the gumline. Dr. Shortell said I would be best served with extraction of all my remaining upper teeth and construction of a denture. During subsequent appointments, I experienced very long waiting times. The worst was a scheduled appointment for a three-minute try-in. I heard him greet and treat three patients. After 40 minutes I got up to leave and he came galloping out of a patient room and had me back in the chair, had me bite down on a partly complete denture. I was out of there in less than a minute...He could treat me with benign neglect because he had me where he wanted, I was stuck with him 'til this was done. I was not going to be able to chew food until he got around to finishing my denture and I am a heart patient with dangerously low weight. I also had problems with his office staff. I had dental insurance and received a bill from Shortell's office with a note that said to call them with any concerns about insurance. I did and they said the insurance company had not paid them. I called the insurance company who said they hadn't received a bill. I called the dentist office back and repeated what I was told at which point the staffer exploded and yelled, "That's crap! Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap." I have never been addressed in this manner before when trying to resolve an insurance problem. For reasons I never fathomed, the insurance paid my oral surgeon who removed my teeth but did not pay Dr.Shortell for any work. I paid his bills in full out of pocket.

  • Bad. They oversell work that needs to be done. This is a five year old review with some hindsight. The dentist proclaimed that I had advanced gum disease and needed three crowns. He acted like this needed to be done quickly or all my teeth would fall out. I did there intense cleaning, and floride treatments that were covered by my insurance $1300. I went to another dentist for a second opinion on the crowns. He found no evidence of advanced gum disease. As for the crowns, he mentioned one should be "watched" the other two teeth were fine. This was over five years ago now. I have since had crowns placed on two of the teeth . The latest just this March. The third tooth is still fine after 5 plus years. This office has no interest in your well being, just your money.

  • I hate going to the dentist.  However, Dr. Petersen makes the visit so much less stressful.  She is the most gentle dentist.  Others make it seem like a truck has gone through your mouth.  I hate to think of the day when Dr. Petersen retires.

  • The staff and dentists are all great - going to the dentist, especially one that you haven't met before is nerve racking but I cannot say enough good things about this group.  Not only were they extremely thorough but they also made a point to explain why they were recommending things instead of just saying that I had to do something.  They looked about both preventative dental care as well as if I had any cavities (None!  yeah!).  They were clearly interested in taking care of me and my teeth, not just making money like some dentists I have used before.

  • It was great!  They're friendly, efficient, and very good at what they do.  There's nothing at all bad to say about the interaction; despite the fact that it's a dentist's office, I never dread my appointments there.

  • All my life I have struggled with dental appointments - even just cleanings - due to anxiety and extreme gagging reflex. But with Dr. Blair Edgington and the staff at Dr. Mingos & Assoc, I have no worries. My first encounter with Dr. Edgington was for a badly done crown. She was so gentle and thorough that I immediately knew I had found "my dentist". She understood my dental issues from the start; she is gentle; she and the assistants explain what they are doing. I had never used nitrous oxide and they explained the process, how I would feel, etc, then monitored me carefully during the process. What a difference a caring dental staff makes!
This appointment was no different - the hygienist was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She was very careful to allow me time to relax and swallow throughout the cleaning process. Dr. Edgington came in to check on me and recommend future care.
I strongly recommend this dentist group, especially to anyone with anxiety about going to the dentist.

  • Everything was fine. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and I had a very pleasant experience there. The actual Dentist (unfortunately, I have forgotten his name) was quite cheerful and comforting. I will be going back again. :)

  • The office environment and the staff members are very friendly and efficient. Dr. Sutton is also friendly and efficient. He's very personable as well. I go back to him mostly because of the location. He's a block and a half away from my work. If I have a emergency, he will come in on a Saturday as well. His punctuality is excellent. There's no bed there but it's all good. His communication is good and the effectiveness of his treatment seems to be fine. The billing and administration is efficient.

  • Everything went well from beginning to end.  The front office and billing staff are very nice and professional.  All charges are reviewed prior to service.  The actual procedure was quick and relatively pain free.
