Perfectly. Nuckles Tree Care showed up on time and did a beautiful job with cleanup and trimming. My yard looks better than it has in years with the trees shaped up and I no longer have to worry about the dangerous dead limbs hanging above my garage. The crew was professional and respectful.

They removed the old wall, and backfilled the dirt and gravel needed to have the wall stay strong. They didn't expect payment until the work was finished.  Cory took the
time with me to explain what the details of the project.  Once they
started they finished the project, and didn't stop until it was done.

Excellent work - I can't believe how much better the trees and my backyard look!  I like that they brought an entire team of workers, not just one guy working by himself. The team was very professional, and worked quickly and efficiently. They removed all tree waste and cleaned up quite well after the service.

It went really well.  They cleaned up leaves from the fall, and mowed, trimmed bushed, removed a handful of old bush stumps, weeded, removed numerous saplings and even removed an unwanted post.   They did close to a full day's worth of work for an affordable price.  As an added bonus, I got some free mulch for which I was very appreciative.  I'm very happy with the results.

Smashingly! This guy is great! I pretty much got same day service for the lowest price I could find. He no longer removes trees but can direct you to someone that can for a great price! He is absolutely reasonable and professional!!

Terrible. From start to finish, communication between us and Master Landscape was troubled at best. From our initial meeting, it seemed we were on the same page about what we wanted done and how it would be handled. Al, the company President, seemed to understand and point out where the issues were around the house and how they needed to be fixed. He said he had been doing grading jobs for quite some time, so we thought we were in the great shape to get our issue fixed. On the first attempt at completing the job, no swale was dug and it appeared from looking at our yard that in the area of our yard that was supposed be flatted out and a swale dug out that the sod had just been scraped off the surface and that layer had been used to add dirt around the foundation. It rained that day and water still pooled under the deck and around the house because nothing had actually been done to grade the ground. We contacted Master Landscape about our concerns and they did respond promptly by coming over to the house to view the water pooling. The explanation we received about the work done was fraught with excuses that danced around the issue that the job was simply not done to the standard agreed upon. We told them they needed to come back and try again.
After the second time, the swale was still not dug out and the explanation given was that there were root structures left over from bushes that were planted where the swale would be so it was too difficult to dig. We saw and still have not seen evidence of this ourselves, but if that was the case, this should have been communicated to us while the workers were on site, instead of us having to ask about it after the fact. We communicated our issues with the job to Master Landscape and told them that we did not want them to come and try to fix it again. We just wanted to be done with them so we could hire someone who knew what needed to be done. We were extremely frustrated with the lack of communication between what we wanted and the guys on site doing the work. It was clear that there was a major disconnect. After all was said and done, we still have drainage problems, we wound up with a broken fence we had to replace due to the Bobcat scoop breaking the fence gate, and we were sent a bill for the full amount quoted initially, without taking into account the fact that the job was very much incomplete. We paid Master Landscape for the work they completed and deducted from their bill the fence repairs and an estimate to finish the job.
Although Master Landscape may be excellent at creating nice landscapes with grass and plants, excavating/grading is not their forte and I would discourage anyone seeking to enlist these services from utilizing this company for this purpose. We sought the opinion of a foundation specialist from Kansas Basement and Foundation after a major rain sent water coming over the edge of the foundation in the basement (on the side Master Landscape added dirt too high up on the siding) and through some fissures in the concrete and his opinion was a drainage issue, which lends credence to the fact that nothing was fixed by Master Landscape. During this meeting, he too recommended a swale. We have enlisted the help of an excavating/grading specialist to tune of another $2,000. Although Master Landscape could not meet our expectations with the job performed, our main issue with them was the communication with us about the job and the way our dissatisfaction was handled when it came time to settle up. Had our concerns been taken into account and honest effort made to assuage our issues with what contracted versus what was delivered, this review might have had a few more positives notes. Unfortunately for all involved, this was not the case.

These people are remarkable. Shad Hufnagel who designed our yard is outstanding. We wanted a "zero scaped" yard and we got it. We have worked with Shad for several years to create a front yard that is beautiful and easy care. Everyone comments on its beauty. Shad is extremely knowledgeable and gracious. They have replaced plants that didn't thrive the first season at no cost. They are reasonable and thorough. They are also creative. Shad thinks outside the box to meet a customer's wishes.
We love our yard. I give them my highest recommendation.I would never use anyone else in town.

I had used Charlie Portoff years ago for the removal of two trees that had Dutch Elm disease. These were two black locusts, one that had died several years ago, another that had a lot of dead limbs. Both were near/overhang the house and electrical wires. They removed all debris, even took a large pile of limbs at no extra charge. Only took a few hours. The tree was removed about a week after I contracted with them. Charlie's daughter runs the business. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

They do a lot of different stuff. Actually, initially I just called them for the leave removal and it was a smaller job. I did not have them do my whole yard, and the fact that they were willing to come out and just do what I needed done was good. While they were here, I asked them about the shrubs and they said yes we can do that. It was nice to have somebody who was willing to do what I needed. They were responsive to my phone calls.

In early October 2013, Lawn and Landscape Solutions (LLS) responded to my phone call request for a bid on repair work to our flagstone paver patio. LLS kept their appointed time for the bid, and I heard back from them within the week. The bid was for patching the grout work between the flagstone pavers in an area approx. 25'x 15' and required that some of the paver stones be leveled up with sand and replacement stones. The primary repair material was a polymer/sand mixture known as "gator dust" The bid came in at 1650.00.  |After several weather related delays, the work started in mid November. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up the work area when they finish.  |After about a week, it was very apparent that the gator dust was not holding well. I found several spots that had come open and were quickly eroding away. I called and posted pictures to LLS asking for them to make this right. They did. With flying colors. Ray, the project manager came back, accessed the situation and determined that the only way to "make it right" and to do the repair in a way that would actually hold was to basically start over. Ray and his crew then worked 1 1/2 days to remove all the flagstone, piece by piece from the patio, clean up and level the space and then reapply the gator dust properly. This company really stood behind their work! I was very pleased with Ray, the work his crew completed and I would definitely recommend this company to folks who are looking for repair work that they can trust. These guys went above and beyond to make my project whole. I'd gladly work with them again.
