Very smoothly. Ben and his team worked wonders. Our home had severe water damage and they came in after the remediation company had ripped out many of the surfaces and bottoms of the walls. His estimate was reasonable, he worked with us and the insurance adjuster and company to work on billing, and the work was first rate. Ben was very responsive to concerns and questions, responded promptly and professionally, and made a stressful situation far less overwhelming. We would absolutely use this company again.

Very quick response. Generated fair estimate within 5 days of contact. Sent an individual the day prior to painting to patch the walls, and a crew of 4 performed the work in one day. They moved furniture, sanded walls, and applied two coats of paint. They worked very carefully and left no mess behind. Looks great.

The job looks fantastic!  Because I couldn't find tile to match the old tile in the shower, I got a contrasting color, and the way they put it together, it looks like that's the way it was supposed to be.  They cleaned up after themselves and were very nice!

It took a while to get them scheduled to start the project. Once started they were there when they said they would be. Did a lot of work and did it well. They kept the drywall dust to a minimum and cleaned up after each day they worked.

Ben is a very professional contractor who also has excellent people skills.  I most appreciated that his team was punctual, friendly, and took great pride in their work, to include cleaning up each and every day.  Ben is very quick to respond both by phone call and emails and if additional attention was needed to any aspect of the project he sent his team out pronto.  He's a great guy with a great team.

We had a pipe break upstairs and everything flooded.  The ceilings were ruined, the walls were ruined and the floors were ruined.  We had to repaint the walls because the painter was so bad and we did it ourselves.  When he put the ceiling on he did a knock down ceiling and he put a plastic wrap, cleared down half way and then afterwards the ceiling dripping went on the wall that was down below and he painted right over those.  I told him I took the paper off and he went in and painted over everything in the hallway which had all the glue on it yet.  They seemed nice enough but Denis the head contractor was difficult to get a hold off at times.  Getting an estimate from him was rather difficult.  With our insurance company he just was very general with his estimate and they needed little more specifics.  The contractor that he got to work for him did a terrible job.  We had to repaint everything that he did ourselves.  They didn't finish it, when they fixed on of the walls they had some guys come out and do some drywall and he did an excellent job but then punctuality for him was terrible because he was on his way to Mexico for vacation.  They had to get somebody else to finish his work for him but the work that he did do, he did really well.  He didn't put underneath the laminates to get rid of the bumps so we can see every bump on the floor.  They didn't level anything out.  We were so upset with all the work that they did, it was terrible.

I walked in and met with a sales person in the store without an appointment. She was obviously busy but stopped and gave me her full, unhurried attention. I described the window that I wanted to cover 2nd to the sun blinding me at times when I am in the kitchen She show me several different options and styles. There was absolutely no pressure. A week late he came, measured the window and confirmed what I wanted to do and that my choice would work well. It was a custom made shade that was ready in a little over a week. The owner came and installed it until he felt it looked and worked correctly. I now have a well placed valance when I don't need it but lovely filtered light when I need it. It looks good, goes well with the room and I am very satisfied with both the quality of the service and product.

The people working for Ben Kitchens Painting Co. did an excellent job. We are very happy with the results. We spent just short of $50,000 for all the remodeling. We have a new kitchen with granite countertops, new cabinets, new lighting and a redesign on appliances placement and all new hardware. The bathrooms now have new ceramic tile floors, shower and bath surrounds, toilets, cabinets, glass sliding shower doors. The walls were repainted and the ceilings were textured and painted. We also have new windows throughout the house.

The contractor installed, taped, and mudded the drywall for my DIY basement project. Due to time constraints, I needed help with the drywall to stay on schedule. Mike did a great job, on time, and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend McKeeman.

Jim isn't pushy...very professional and like able. Met him at the Manhattan Home Show and he convinced me to make our screened in porch into a three season porch. My $5,000 investment added $17,000 of value to our home! Jim kept me informed of the process and stayed on budget and timeline.
I've since had Jim come back and install a pull down folding ladder to my garage. Great job there as well! I trust this guy and have referred several of my friends to him.
