    David's Moving
David showed up on time. He was kind, helpful, and he and his crew were respectful of the house and its contents. I didnt want to discard items of value. David found someone to help me pack, and he worked with a nearby charity to donate many items. His charge was reasonable, he helped me arrange a minor repair, and he left the home swept and ready for its new owners. I would recommend him for any household move.

    Kingdom Movers
I hired some movers off of craigslist. Kingdom Movers called later and I had already made the initial hire. The initial hire were the most irresponsible, rude, awful Movers/people that I had never met. They made me pay them initially through a cash app. They did not hire a truck for moving day. They finally found one off of Prospect and U-Haul requires a dollar per mile. The head guy lied to me. He told me he had to go speak with his boss and borrow a truck. He does not have a boss. He took pictures of another companys trucks and placed them on his craigslist site and named his company after the trucks. It took almost 2 hours to begin the move because of his in adequacy and renting a truck like he should have supposed to have done. I bought furniture off have next-door.com and gave him the address for every home he needed to go to. The addresses were in order. He yelled at me and told me they were not. He continually told me that I was taking advantage of him. He required that I pay him in cash. He would not except a credit card machine as he did not have one. Kingdom Movers called me after I spoke with this individual otherwise I would definitely have hired them. When the movie started to go south initially I am mediately contacted Kingdom Movers who were going to help me immediately because of the situation. They were respectful, helpful and wanted to do anything they could to help me. Kingdom Movers called me after I spoke with this individual otherwise I would definitely have hired them. When the move started to go south initially I am mediately contacted Kingdom Movers who were going to help me immediately because of the situation. They were respectful, helpful and wanted to do anything they could to help me. At this point the initial Mover had found a truck. He was furious because the U-Haul was off prospect and he had to pay a dollar per mile. I should have canceled the move immediately and called kingdom movers back immediately. I would definitely recommend that anybody hire Kingdom Movers. I most definitely well the next time I move.

    Nl Wilson Moving And Storage
It was awful from the start. They were supposed to be at the house between 8 an 8:30 am. There were supposed to be 4 guys. It was supposed to be loaded and unloaded the same day. When they hadnt showed up by 9 am my wife called me and said she had tried to reach them but it went into voicemail. When she tried to leave a message it hung up. I tried and our realtor tried, same result. I was at the new hose waiting for the cable man. Finally I had to drive down to south Olathe. They told me that the crew had to untold their truck cause another crew had not in loaded it over the weekend. The got there at 11:30 am. There were only 3 guys and for one of them it was the first day on the job. The truck wasnt loaded until 6 pm. The owners wanted to unload the truck that night into the garage of our new house. I told them no absolutely not. They had already wrecked the door on my 1800 dollar stainless steel refrigierator. Turns out they broke a leg on my wife's desk (which they fixed) and the door on an upright freezer (which they still haven't fixed). So the last thing I wanted was for them to move anything more that night. I told them bring the freezer, refrigerator and the bed. Put the first two in the garage and put the bed together. My wife had to go out and buy sheets and a blancket and toiletries. Next day I am over at the old house waiting for the plumber to come to move our reverse osmosis drinking water system and the soft water tank. My wife calls and says the movers wont unload the truck untill we paid in full. Plus they had additional charges. I told her the contract stated 1450, period. It was not to exceed that amount. They said that there were additional charges for moving a treadmill, freezer, and large refrigeratior. Plus an extra fuel charge for distance. It was 4 miles between the two houses. Also a long driveway charge. The couldn"t even get their 26 foot truck completely into our driveway. The cab blocked one side of the street. They saind unless we could produce a copy of the contract they were going to insist on the extra charges. I told my wife where the contract was and she paid and they unloaded our things...........eight hours late. Oh, did tell you they showed up the second day with only 2 people. 1 short of the previous day and 2 short of the contract. Finally, everything was unloaded and put away except for my desk which I had to take apart and my wife and I moved upstairs into my office. I told my realtor and she said she would call the owner. By Thursday I had not heard anything and my Realtor said she would call. I finally received a call from the owner Thursday night and we worked out a deal. He refunded me 800 dollars which did not cover the door. The appliance store we went to sad it probably wouldn't match the door. We bought a new refrigerator.......not from them. The moving company did fix the desk but I have given up on the freezer. What you should know is that Matt who wrote the contract and who we had dealt with in the past is no longer with the company. We found that out the day of the move that he had left.

    Always Helpful Movers & Storage
Our 95 year old father decided to move back to Michigan from Kansas City. We went with Always Helpful Movers & Storage. They were very professional right from the beginning. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. They were very prompt, arriving when they said they would. At the other end, everything delivered to our dad's new place without a problem. They were very helpful and respectful to my dad. I would recommend Always Helpful Movers to anyone. By the way, the cost of this move was very good too.

    Rent A Vet Movers
Overall, it went well. PROS: Our 3-man crew worked very **** ** their requested Sunday February 18 move day. They took apart and put together our beds, took the mirrors off and put the mirrors back on our dressers, took down our wall-mounted flatscreen TV, capped our washer water lines when the water could not be shut off with the valve, and were all very friendly and helpful. The move took several more hours than my Angie's List deal and required a second small trip, but they stuck with it until we were 100% done. CONS: Rent A Vet did not come to our house to do an in-person estimate but did do an informal estimate over the phone and said 4 hours should be fine. It ended up taking 6.5 hours and I had to pay for the extra two hours. (The final price was very reasonable for six hours of moving services moving from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment in a secured building .) All my calls before and after confirming service were not answered so I left a message each time - it took 1-3 days to get a call back each time. As I began to unpack and put things away, I noted the movers had re-broken a leg on our antique dresser (it had been repaired once already) but simply wrapped it with plastic and did not tell me about it. I also noted a few minor scuffs and scratches on several pieces of furniture and on our front-loading dryer door that they didn't tell me about either. Overall, I was satisfied with the moving services we received and even with the extra time added on the cost was still less than I had originally thought our move would be.

    Precision Piano Moving
Greg and Craig were very professional. Texted me to let me know they were on the way, they came prepared with all necessary equipment, sized up the job and did an outstanding job executing the work. Very knowledgeable, clearly had a lot of experience, took care to protect the piano and the floor and surroundings. Great choice for piano or other moving.

    N L Wilson Moving & Transfer
Things actually started off on the wrong foot for the day of my move. But here is the rest of the story... One of the NL Wilson owners met me at the storage facility in Merriam, and we had a very good conversation about the challenges we were facing. Bottom line... the owner immediately corrected all of the challenges on the spot! The rest of the day was an A+++! I think it is important that I share that were some challenges as a company, like NL Wilson, chose to display their company values in both their words and their actions with this VERY satisfied customer. I HIGHLY recommend NL Wilson Moving & Storage for ALL of your customized moving needs, as they are a company that practices what they say they will deliver!

    You Move Me
I had an appointment with an email confirmation that Josh would be at my house between 2:30 and 4:30. I waited all afternoon and he was a no-show. Not a good quality in a moving service. I will be looking elsewhere.

    Rent A Vet Movers
The movers were great. I can't speak highly enough of them. They worked harder than I expected and performed admirably on the hottest day of the year. The only reason the scores are not at least a grade lower or two is because of the movers. We tried to confirm the day before our move, and once before that I believe, that everything was in order with the moving company. We had everything packed and ready to move. We wanted to make sure they knew just how much there was. When the movers arrived, just two of them, they quickly realized the bind they were put in and called around for help. They left to pickup another guy and restarted the clock when they came back and started again. After that it was a long day of moving and it took 2 trips with their 26' truck. At the end of the day Rent-A-Vet helped with the price for the lack of communication but I'm not sure I'd use them again for a whole house move. It's already a stressful time and the moving company shouldn't add to that. If I could get the movers again I would.
