    Arrived on time, extremely hard working crew that worked in extremely cold temperatures. The crew was always supervised by project foreman. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The foreman kept me updated & informed on the progress & process throughout the project. They also reinstalled the landscape blocks that had to be removed for the pier work. I have used them twice before on other areas of my home with great reviews from the structural engineer that I hired to evaluate my home���s needs.

    Working with foundation 1 was a pleasant experience. They provided an excellent service, was conscious of my belongings and protected them with plastic, utilize sponges around their jack hammers to minimize dust, and were friendly. While they were here working i ended up adding two additional services at my request. The estimator was able to provide an estimate that day and we executed the change order on the spot. All work was completed to my satisfaction and they cleaned up after their work. Another pleasant surprise is the owner came out one day to check on the project and introduce himself. Many companies have forgotten the importance of being personable, but not Foundation 1. I will be recommending them to anyone in the Kansas City area.

    The install of the window and sump pump went fine. However, they ran out of time on the second day and could not pour the concrete to complete the job. Because of the weather it was a week before they came back to finish and had left a large pile of dirt that turned to mud with all the rain. When they finished they left a tremendous mess of mud in the back patio and tracked mud through the back patio to the garage and driveway. I called the office and spoke with Crystal who said she would speak with the foreman of the crew and get back with me. I sent her the pictures attached to the review and never heard back. We had to purchase a pressure washer and have spent over ten hours cleaning up the mess.

    Arrow Foundation Repair, Overland Park, KS area. My realtor arranged for this company to repair my basement, in preparation for sale. We are both stunned by their disturbingly unprofessional customer service. Their technician appeared to perform the work adequately, but overlooked another crack in plain view. Because I failed to specifically point it out, I have to accept a hit. It was obvious he did not look anywhere else for potential problems as another leak surfaced. He was a worker bee, but not a professional. As he was leaving, he asked ME what he should charge! I told him to have an invoice forwarded to my realtor. My realtor had to request one from them again. Nasty messages were received by him over this invisible invoice. Once it was finally received, my realtor forwarded it to me so I could electronically confirm receipt. It was immediately followed by an email addressed to my realtor, with threat of a lien on my home! I had promised cash payment but there was no bill at the time of service. They said I was lying about not receiving the invoice. When questioned about the clairvoyant billing practices, they claimed the price was predetermined - but they had never even seen the job to know the scope of work! We went from "we charge by the foot" to we routinely charge by the number of cracks - as identified in this case by the realtor. They finally admitted they had neither my phone number or email address to communicate their upset. They tried to blame my realtor for the entire mess. After we compared notes, I 100% believe the realtor. Even if this were all caused by my realtor, they were so belligerent with me, I could scarcely believe it. Let me emphasize that I was extremely calm and polite, despite the tenor of the conversation - they were at DEFCON 4. When I paid the cash in person, I got a qualified apology - for the "miscommunication" caused by my realtor. I am absolutely gobsmacked.

    They so far haven't honored the warranty but a day after posting this review on Angie's List they called and scheduled a service call in 10 days so hoping eventually for a good outcome.
    (Update:  They did come out to fix the cracks at the scheduled time.  I was not the one there at that appointment but they did find us in the computer system as they apologized about the time and said because of the negative review posted here they were willing to offer a discount on repair of another crack if we decided to have it fixed.)

    They did not honor the deal that I purchased which was $500 credit for work and they just offered me $50 as it was a big work to be done, I did not liked it and they should be clear about there deals.

    The engineer was professional and polite, however, the company that own's the engineering firm owns Dry Basement Foundation Repair.  The possible conflict of interest is addressed with a form you sign, but I would still likely have an independent engineering firm do the structural analysis next time.

    Contractor was recommended by another Angie's List provider (a plumber).  I thought I needed a sump pump to address an issue of water in the basement.  Andrew came to the house and listened to the description of my problem.  Instead of bidding a sump pump for me he recommended that I have the window wells dug out and replaced.  This saved me a considerable amount of money and has taken care of my issue. 
    The workman showed up and spent an afternoon digging in extremely hard clay soil.  He replaced the window wells and was even very friendly to my 5 year old son who wanted to watch the whole process.  I think they did a great job and were reasonable on the price. I like that they were able to assess my issue and provide a lower cost solution than I had anticipated.

    Dry Basement is a top notch company.  From the very beginning, when I met with Dick Clark, the salesman, I was very comfortable knowing that Dick had my best interest in mind.  He explained everything very thoroughly, and we decided on an installation date.  The people who did the work were on time, and polite.  They left my basement cleaner than they found it! They were efficient and conscientious.  They were extremely eager to know that I was satisfied, with great follow up.  I not only purchased a Basement System, but I purchased piece of mind--which is truly priceless when we experience torrential rains.  It is the best money I have spent in a long time!

    It went fine.  They gave me some ideas to remedy the water in my basement. It turned out to be a little more expensive and I plan on possibly contacting them for follow up in the future. The tech was at my home for about an hour. They were on time to my appointment and very professional.
