    Kirby, Dr. Holly F.
The doctor was friendly and efficient. She answered all my questions and made me feel absolutely confident in her thorough examination and responses. I finally found a dermatologist that is trustworthy and not focused solely on cosmetics. I only had to pay co-pay; everything else was covered by insurance.

I talked with a nurse who took all of my information. The doctor came in looked over all of my skin and removed several growths with liquid nitrogen. I have a follow up appointment to remove a cyst on my back.

The waiting room was packed. Every chair taken! I got there early to fill out paper work. So I got in about 15 minutes after I filled it out...not too bad. I needed some laser work so needed to wait until winter...couldn't do it the beginning of summer. They gave me some topical meds that are working good. So I may put off the laser for a few years.

Had to wait in line to check in.  Front staff was effective.  Was called back after a brief wait.  Nurse/Assistant who brought me back (don't know her name as she didn't introduce herself) was not warm or friendly, never smiled.  Sfter answering her questions and disrobing for the exam, Dr Neubauer came in fairly quickly.  She was warm and explained what she was doing and froze a few spots that I wanted removed.  She told me the cost up front as she said insurance would not pay for it as they deemed it cosmetic.  We then discussed what she would do for my Botox and Juvaderm treatment.    Made my follow up appt. for my treatment with Dr. Neubauer's scheduling nurse, she was warm and friendly.  Checked out at the front desk after a brief wait and she was very friendly and gave me directions that I asked for as I am new to the area.  Overall experience was fine.  i really did like the DR.

    Carol Foulds MD
The very first appointment, she looked at my daughter and asked what we had tried. She immediately prescribed Accutane. For those who do not know, this is a medication for acne that is has now been shown to cause horrible side affects and is not removed from the system as soon as they had thought. My daughters hair still falls out, she has very thin skin, and has struggled in other areas including depression. Not to mention, she still has acne. I know that doctors can not always predict a medication's side affects, however, she was supposed to have regular blood tests according to the law for this med. This was a fight constantly to get done, because the Dr. would not fill out the paper work on time. Also, every time I went in with her for any appointment, Foulds would try to sell me something. She wanted to perform cosmetic procedures on me that not only did I not ask about and had no interest in doing, but specifically told her no every time. This went on for the duration of the Accutane medication that was given to my daughter (it can only be given for a short amount of time). The last appointment, I sent my teenage daughter by herself. There was frequently a wait, but this time it was absolutely absurd. After sitting there for 2 hours, she told the secretary she was going to leave. She was asked if she wanted to make another appointment, and at that time she said NO. She was very upset with how the treatment was going and the wait pushed her over the edge. I was upset also, and decided to switch Dermatologist. Later, we were called to say we owed money for the appointment that was apparently made without prior authorization and knowledge. After complaining, Foulds told us she would not charge us for the appointment and it was a mistake. However, when she discovered we were not coming back, she started hounding us for payment. This is STILL going on. Of course, it has more than tripled the original cost, because she wants late fees. Her treatment of my daughter was ineffective and uncaring for her personal well being. She is unprofessional and a liar.

Dermatology & Skin Cancer - Leawood

I find their written payment policy, which I confirmed by phone, to be unacceptable and also unusual. I have not encountered this type of policy before. Therefore, I never was able to meet the doctor I had chosen.

I have been going to Linley Stevens for a few years now and I am impressed with her professionalism and positive outlook. She is also a skilled diagnostician who has found skin cancers I did not see. Her treatments have had successful outcomes. Her sunny outgoing personality is also great with teens.

I was impressed with the efficiency of the office from the first phone call. The receptionist was friendly and answered all my questions. The information sent out with the forms was very helpful in planning the day. There was not much waiting for my appointment and the areas were comfortable and pleasant. The medical staff was kind and professional in both pre-op and post-op. Dr. Parker did a great job and got all the cancer on the first go and the scarring has been minimal. I appreciated the follow up call the next day also.

    O'Connell, Dr. David M
He has excellent bedside manner, very personable. He clearly explained all of the options to me. He removed the Cist and had it biopsied. When the biopsy came back, he referred me to another specialist for further treatment.

She knows her specialty well and I would not hesitate to refer her to anyone in need of a dermatologist. It can take a while to get an appointment with her, however, that is the norm for specialists so I don't consider that to be unusual or something within her control as she is only one person.
