    Big Red Decorative Concrete
Beth was very responsive and knowledgable. We were lucky to get scheduled due to other's flood problems. The tiles were difficult and they did work hard to get everything up. Disappointed in the 'grind' marks in the concrete. We love the overall look, and the workers did their best to keep the area as clean as possible.

    Concrete Concepts
The stamped patio came out nice, but the brick edging did not last one season, The bricks have sunk and separated from the patio and have fallen off in multiple places. All the concrete area underneath the brick is crumbling and will continue to sink. I have repeatedly tried to contact the owner of Concrete Concepts. He assured me he will fix it, but he does not return my calls and texts and he does not come when he says he will. This has been going on for months. Now it is winter and it is too late to get it fixed this season. I got an estimate from another contractor of $1000 to get this fixed. This is very upsetting because we spent over 10K on the project. He told me he was coming the week of 11/12/2018. He did not come and did not call to cancel or explain. I gave a fair rating only because the stamped portion of the patio is okay.

    Aquatic Builders

We selected Aquatic Builders based on positive review we had seen online. Monty Hayes was the owner and designer. Monty is wildly creative and designed a terrific pool to fit our space and yard. This review is based on the difficult time we had working with the company and the quality of some of the work.

Unfortunately, we had paid the entire final payment at their request, prior to finishing or delivering the custom cover. Monty called one Sunday and asked for us to pay them as they had some bill due, and we did. Travis showed up at our house at 8:30pm that night to get the check. To get the pool finished took repeated emails, phone calls, and texts over several weeks. Either there was no response to daily contact, or there were promises not kept. To get the custom cover ordered and installed, which we had already paid for, was a similar effort. Not until we threatened escalating the problem did we get a response.

We believe the pool itself is well built. But when putting in the stained and stamped concrete patio, there was NO effort to not get the concrete or stain on the side of our house and windows. Just a damp cloth wiping the chunks off the siding and glass when it was installed would have been better than what we were left with; which was countless hours of scraping and repainting.

If it stopped there, we might have been more generous with our review, but when they brought in equipment to dig, they took down our neighbor's fence and then put it back up until we had a new fence installed. Somehow there was an issue with damaging our neighbor's landscaping. Our neighbors and Monty then discussed him planning and providing some type of tree. A hole was dug, and it is still there with no tree. Same situation for them in how hard it has been to contact the company.

Just one word... WOW!!! Even this word does not do justice to the quality of workmanship which Holliday Concrete Team delivered. They are thorough professionals with amazing skills. When we decided to replace our Driveway, as usual we took several bids and I will say that Holliday Concrete was not the lowest bid  BUT every penny spent has been worth it. In the last month and a half, we have received multiple compliments from neighbors and friends on how beautiful our driveway looks. The Border sure makes our Driveway stand out in the neighborhood.  In future, if we ever have to get concrete work done, we shall not think twice to call Holliday Concrete since they have exceeded all our expectations...... A BIG THANK YOU TO HOLLIDAY CONCRETE FOR A JOB WELL DONE !!!

I typically don't leave negative reviews, just look at my past reviews, but felt obligated to post about our experience with KC Lawn and will try to be as impartial as possible.
Starting with the estimate, Ken came out to see what we wanted done.   He showed up on time.  This was the third company we received an estimate from.  He immediately had much better ideas for our patio than the previous two companies, who wanted to pour just rectangle patios.  Ken's idea was much more fluid and decorative.  The price of estimate was about $500-1000 more than the other two bids, but Ken's creativity won the deal.
We set a date 2 months in advance for the work so it coordinated with the end of our exterior siding project.  But KC Lawn did have openings starting in 3 weeks is we wanted to move that fast.  I know it's not great to stack work infront of and behind contractors, but KC Lawn had a window of 3 days to complete the work.
Over the next 2 months we had a few questions about stain colors and stamp patterns, and Ken always got back to us with an answer within 24 hours.
Fast forward to the week of the project.  Our date got pushed one day because they wanted to stack projects in the same neighborhood to reduce travel costs and cement truck trips.  I understand that form a business standpoint, but it defeats the reason we planned 2 months in advance.
The day they arrived, we had a dumpster taking up 1 spot in our 3 car wide driveway.  I ran out before they got setup and said the dumpter company will be here in one hour to pick up the dumpster.    Door bell rings 90 minutes later, dumpter pickup driver can't get the dumpster because KC Lawn had dumped a truck load of gravel directly in front of the dumpster.  The foreman hadn't communicated my request to the workers.  Not too bad, it didn't cost us anything to reschedule dumpster pickup.
So then the cement is poured, we immediately notice the edge of the patio, where it meets a wall near the door, does not go the outside of the door, but the inside.  On the KC lawn provided drawing that we signed off on, the patio extended pass the door by 8-10", the width of the cobble stone pattern border.  KC lawn's response was 'the door was not drawn to scale or proper location in the drawing, but the patio is the correct length per drawings scale."
Then next issue occurred with the cobblestone border.  Looking at KC lawns website of pictures, we saw a patio they did that had stamped borders.  We sent this to Ken during our quote process and he added it to the drawing.  But after the cement had been poured and dried, we arrived home from work and there was no stamped borders.  KCLawn said 'this is how we do patios'.  After mentioning the quote and drawing, they did take a cement saw and cut lines every 8" to give a look of the cobblestone stamp we wanted, but way less polished the what the actual stamp would of looked like.  No apologies for the lower quality product.
We also requested conduit be run under each side of the patio, so we could run landscape lights and sprinklers in the future.  The workers only installed one conduit.  This resulted in us having to run an extra 150' of power cable for lighting to reach the other end of the patio.
One thing we didn't notice until weeks later is the cement stamp pattern is visible.  We did a random textured stamp pattern in the middle of the patio, but the worker did not rotate the stamp and pressed too h****** the outer edges.  So you can clearly see  a grid patter in the patio where the same texture occurs over and over and the edges are way darker.
Finally, since the house had brand new siding, we requested that plastic be taped to the walls all around where cement would be poured.  Foreman said yes.  After the cement was poured and stained, we found splatter all over the walls and stain in some places.  Foreman said his team claims they 'held' up plastic during the pour process.  I wasn't there to see that, but know it was not taped up like requested.  We had to repaint the 3 walls that were damaged, which we wanted deducted from our cost after all the other issues that had occured.  KC Lawn finally agreed after claiming we were ripping them off and then wanting to see quotes and invoices from the painters before deducting the cost.
We never got apologies or acknowledgement of the mistakes, but as the mistakes piled up the KC lawn contact got harder and harder to talk to.
I think if this company can give more time and attention from the foreman to his work sites, and seem less like a spread thin sub contracting group, their quality would improve.

The work was supposed to be done in June but it didn't end up getting poured until August. They completed the work in three full work days. We worked primarily with the owner but his crew did the physical work. The work they did is really good.

    All Weather Decks
Cass is a great guy to work with. He has a very "can do" attitude. Received other bids and no one would bid the entire project in total. They would bid tear out, new deck, etc. But wanted to see how much excavation needed done before would bid on concrete patio, walls, etc. Cass was able to bid entire project, made multiple changes when I would change my mind, and had excellent craftsman. He is very flexible with changes in design as the project progressed. He is very responsive, returns calls promptly, and kept me informed. There were some unanticipated added work that he did without charge. He stuck to his bid and did beautiful work for the price agreed upon. I was very particular how I wanted some things done, and he came through. Of course your lawn gets torn up with a project like this and he had to go through part of my neighbors lawn. His workers repaired my neighbors lawn as promised and mine also which was not expected. His crew manager, Alex, is a great guy who really cares about his work. My questions or concerns during the process were respected and any problems addressed no matter how small. Cass really does care about his customers and works for your complete satisfaction. This was a large project and it came out beautiful for what I found to be a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

He did the work, then the concrete developed chotes, I called him, he came out, and he told me that they would be back to do some touch-up work.  I have called him over 5 times and he tells me that they will come out to fix the problem. It has been over 7 months of consistent contact and they still have not fixed the problem.

After my complaint, John sent someone to repair the defect and it is repaired to the best of their ability and as well as could be expected.

There are some issues however Rick has pledged to make it right.

I took down my original review and posted the one above after Rick expressed to me that he felt my review was unfair. Since that time Rick has made minimal effort to make sure that everything was properly taken care of. He has never bothered to check in to make sure everything is completed properly. I received ONE phone call from Rick since that time. There were several holes on the surface of the patio that needed repair. They came back and repaired some and left others. I had to call again about that and they did repair those. There is a crack in the step off of the patio that still exists along with some faint red chalk and unexplained dark spots all over a light gray patio. There is also sealer that ran off of the patio and left a trail down the step. If it's not pointed out by me the customer there is no effort to make it right. No final walk though nor follow up. Rick was very upset with my original review yet there is no regard for me as the customer. He believes it looks great. I am re-posting my original review. It is factual and accurate.

It started out great. The guys showed up on time
and worked very hard and fast. I was surprised to see how quickly they were
able to do the work. What I realized is that they are in a hurry at the expense
of everything including quality. Their goal is to get it done quick and to get
out. They are fine with the rough work. Unfortunately there is no regard for
anything else. The project required some grading however in the process they
blasted through the sprinkler line, covered up numerous sprinkler heads and
control boxes even though I warned them and asked them to just let me know
where they were so I could locate and repair. I was assured that was no
problem. Prior to doing the work Rick the owner assured me they would repair
any damage done. Now I cant even get them to help me find them. Before the
project was even finished the owner showed up requesting a check. Against
my better judgement I paid him because he said he thought it was already
completed and gave me his word that everything would be completed the next
working day. The remaining work was the finish work including their promise to
locate my torn sprinkler line, and sprinkler heads. When they did show up they
proceeded to seal the dirty concrete. They even sealed in the red chalk that
was used to mark the saw cuts. When we asked about it the said he hope it would
look OK and that he couldn't get it off with the power washer. The sealer
was sloppily applied with some spots getting missed. The owner said he
that maybe they could apply an additional coat of sealer. When asked about the
red chalk he said they had to use that color so they could see to make the saw
cuts. One of the guys came back to work on it. He did apply a second coat of
sealer to one area which was improved were it not for the fact that they sealed
in brown dirt on the grey patio. They attempted to use a wire brush on the red
chalk only to leave large red scratched up patches on the patio. He said he
would have to wait until the owner returned so they could try to find out what
would remove the chalk. The original estimate was for $12,900. We added some
work and knew the cost would be higher. Rick the owner said it would be and quot;a
littleand quot; more. When I realized how quickly the work was happening I called
him for a final cost. He said he hadn't gotten a chance to look at it but it
would probably total around $14,000. So I was surprised when he showed up early
requesting a check for nearly $16,000. Nonetheless I thought that it could be
worth it if the project was finished as agreed. Very dumb move on my
part. I will be finishing the work myself because I don't trust them to do
    anything further.

One final note, the business is owned and run by
a guy and his two sons. The father bids the work and the two sons do the work. All of the guys on the crew are very nice guys.
They seem like very nice hard working people however their communication is poor
and professionalism sub-standard. They are probably an OK option if you need some basic concrete work.
