    C & S Body Shop
Steve was great to work with.  He was helpful, honest and upfront.  He gave a clear explanations and evaluation of the damage to my vehicle.  I hope I don't require body work on a vehicle anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely call C & S.

    DALE COLLISION
This has been the worst customer service experience we have ever experienced, and we would never recommend them to anyone who values their vehicle.
On Feb. 25, my husband dropped off our Mustang for repair following an incident on black ice involving our vehicle only. Our insurance company estimated the repair should take approximately 4 weeks to complete from start to finish ... that was ten weeks ago!
Five weeks into the repair, my husband contacted Dale Collision Center manager, Matt Johnson, to check on the status of our vehicle's repair. Matt hemmed and hawed, but would not give him a straight answer as to when our vehicle would be completed. The following week, I stopped by Dale's to check on the status in person. Much to my SHOCK, they had not started the repair! Matt blamed the people providing the parts saying they sent the wrong part 4 times! We contacted our insurance agent who met my husband at Dale's later that afternoon. Matt assured my husband and our insurance agent that our car would be completed within the next 3 weeks. Last week, Matt had told my husband the repair would be finished by Thurs., Apr. 30. On Wed., Apr. 29, Matt pushed the completion date to Fri., May 1. My husband rerouted his business trip to be available Fri., for the final inspection. Our son stopped by Dale's on Thurs., and was told it would be ready today, Mon., May 4. Today, Matt called my husband this afternoon to inform him our car would not be ready until Wed., May 6. Apparently his auto painter went home sick today.
We have heard excuse after excuse as deadlines are repeatedly missed with little or no regard for the inconvenience their inefficiencies have caused us. I am dismayed to see the comments associated with the review dated 2012 highlighting Dale's timeliness and professionalism. Our experience with Dale's has been ALL NEGATIVE, and is likely the reason there are few cars being repaired at this facility. There are dozens of better options for repairing your vehicle ... do not risk enduring what we have been through with Dale's over the past several months. We are holding our breathe the repair will be done properly.

    Eveland Brothers Collision Repair Center
First visit for estimate went well. They said they would call later with appointment but did not. When I called, I got a reasonable appointment time. The repair took a few days longer than anticipated, they said a part was late and would arrive soon, which it did. They also said the insurer did not authorize payment sufficient to replace the bumper but that it looked bad due to accident related damage and prior unrelated curb scrape damage. They sent pictures. We resolved this situation as they agreed to paint over the damaged areas. This they but when I got home with the car the bright light of day revealed some prominent unpainted spots. I called, took the car back and they covered them, a satisfactory result but not what I had expected based on previous experience with this provider.

    CARSTAR Metcalf

Carstar repaired minor damage to bumper in 2012. In less than a year, a section of the paint started to peel off. Took it in, and the manager (Reese) said it was not their fault, as there were scratches on the bumper nearby. While there were some scratches, they didn't line up exactly with the peeling sections, and the paint appeared to be peeling, not scratched. He insisted the scratches were the cause of the paint peeling. I finally agreed to pay half of a repaint. I got a 2nd opinion from another body shop before the repaint was done, they said the scratches were not related. In all fairness, perhaps body shop #2 just wanted the business, but in my experience, the paint job was not prepped correctly the first time. Receptionist is great, but many layers of administration (estimators, etc).

    RANDY'S BODYSHOP
Daughter's car damaged by falling branch, near back window. We did 3 estimates and Randy's was the lowest ($1000 less than highest bid). Randy could also fit us in the fastest, which was impt as daughter had to drive back to college. Randy did an excellent job, would never know there was rust and a ding in the car body. Only criticism is it took one day longer than planned, no big deal as car wasn't needed for a few more days.

    C & S Body Shop
Perfect.  Steve Schwartz, proprietor,  ordered the necessary parts, called me the day they came in, and did the work that same day, for the quoted price.
I have dealt with Steve on a few other occasions (no, I don't have a lot of auto accidents). Each time, he has done the work at exactly the price he quoted, at a time convenient for me, and has always delivered high quality work.
Steve is very easy to work with, and appreciates the customer's point of view.  He is well accepted by all major insurers, so getting reimbursed by insurance is never a problem.
I would recommend Steve to all who need auto body repair work.

The front of my Mercedes was hit and needed repair.  The owner, Steve,  is extremely honest and friendly.  He goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the customer is happy.  His prices are more reasonable than any other company.  He has repaired our cars in the past  and has always done a great job.  The car was repaired in a timely manner and looks like new.   Do yourself a favor and try  C & S Body Shop.  You will be very pleased.

Everything from first call to pickup went perfectly.  Steve and his team are professional and do beautiful work.  In this case it was for about half what the dealer wanted.  Additionally, there was one piece on the bottom that was nicked but not that visible and expensive to replace.  Steve said he could sand off the rough edges and touch it up rather than buy a new piece.  I liked that and he did it and it came out great.  I will go nowhere else!

I found C and S on Angie's List and contacted Steve.  After some basic questions,he asked if I could bring the car by for a dent specialist (Marty) to look at.  Steve and Marty looked at the damage and gave me an estimate and said they could do the work that same afternoon,  if I could leave the car.  I left the car and 4 hours later Steve called and said the work was completed.  I picked the car up- the repairs were done and exceeded my expectations.  The amount was just as quoted.

    HOWARD AUTOMOTIVE
Car just stopped running as though it was out of gas. Towed to local Infinity dealer as I assumed they would have the equipment to diagnose the problem. I was wrong! They tried a fuel sensor, which didn't work. They said they couldn't diagnose because of the aftermarket high efficiency air intake filter on the car wouldn't allow there equipment to function.(??)) I paid them$135.00 and had car towed to Howard at a friend's suggestion. Howard immediately diagnosed problem as anti freeze leaking into the gas intake body, and fixed it...Should have gone there to begin with..
