ATopeka Landscape, IncWe purchased a home with an irrigation system, I've never had or used such a thing and needed some lessons. Dave came out and went over the whole system with me, showed me how to use the controller, helped figure out the zones, showed me some things that needed fixed, explained which could be done on my own and which I should have a professional do. He did a great job and did some small repairs while he was there (he encouraged me to make use of the time I was paying for). While he did those repairs, he showed me the appropriate tools and was not at all frustrated when I was "that guy" hanging over his shoulder watching what he was doing. He did a great job helping me out and teaching me about the system that was already installed. He was a few minutes early and I was not, he waited around until I arrived even though no one answered the door when he knocked. He was on time to the appointment. Because I called and set up the work order at a weird time of year, I expected to wait for an appointment, and while I did wait a little it wasn't exorbitant, and I got a call to set it up the same day that the appointment actually occurred. Knowing how to repair the sprinkler heads came in handy a few days later when my husband broke a couple (one we didn't even know was there) with the lawn mower).- Rebecca G.

AWillowridge Landscape IncThe personnel of Willowridge are courteous, professional and concerned about doing the best job possible. We appreciate Maria, our telephone contact, who accepts our calls and follows through in a friendly, efficient manner. Our sprinkler system is quite old and has been in need of repairs. When called, Mike responds quickly and does his magic to keep our system working in the best manner. Rachel and Curtis and their associates have done an excellent job on our lawn. They also took care of snow removal which was a tremendous effort last year. When it snowed they arrived early and had our steep drive open. Since we are elderly and cannot do our own shoveling, it was a relief to know that we were not trapped for even a part of a day. Our biggest venture with Willowridge was a landscaping project which required removing old plants and replacing them with a new, attractive design. We were impressed with the efforts of Steve and his crew to be sure that each item was properly treated with necessary fertilizers, etc. At the same time we had a crew that cleaned out all our existing beds, trimmed shrubs and laid sod. Our yard looked fantastic when they were through. Although Willowridge is often pricier than their competition, we are willing to pay that price in return for high quality services. We must note that every bill from Willowridge is itemized and described. You know exactly what you are paying for. We will continue to work with Ron and his company and would recommend them to those needing their services.- Colene B.

AMAIN STREAM LAWN SPRINKLER SVCWe are very pleased with Main Stream Lawn Service. They put it in when they said they will put it in. And we had minor problem with one of the pump and we had a line buried that went out towards the street rather than directly from our house and it's separated, they were out immediately to fix it. And we also had a sprinkler head that we wanted moved that was too close to our mailbox, and they came out right away and fixed that. We have to replace our fire hydrant and the water people cut two of the lines, so he had to fix that as well. The price is very reasonable, the majority of the expenses came from what the water department broke. I think they did a very good job, anything that we've needed they have been just right out to fix it and very pleasant. Sean, I believe is the owner, very pleasant and professional, I would highly recommend Sean and his crew.- Gene J.

AWe had let our backyard go, and it was full of tall weeds. They came in and cleared out all the weeds, and put down new mulch to prevent future weeds. They also added mulch to our front yard areas. The gave a quote and performed the work just as we expected. I asked for a few more areas to be mulched after they left, and they gladly came back and touched up those areas for me. Very professional.

Recent Review:
ACharlotte Cox, our landscape designer and project manager met with us on two initial occasions to get our ideas and present her design. Further follow up meetings took place to review the type of pots we wanted to make the fountain. Once all the decisions were made and final scheduling completed the project was completed in one day with follow up on two occasions so far to adjust the fountain and check the new plantings. We are fully satisfied and thrilled with results. Visitors to the yard are, as well, very impressed with what we have.
