I emailed them from their website on a Sunday and had an email response by Monday morning with the requested estimate and instructions to call if I wanted the work done. They were able to come that morning and did a great job. They installed the new deadbolt and re-keyed the existing lock to use the same key. In addition they made me a couple of extra spare keys. They had everything they needed with them and accepted payment by credit card. Cost was $165 plus $15 tax.

I'm a busy physician and recently had a tenant in my rental property who trashed the house and didn't return the keys. For fear of further damage, I had to get the locks re-keyed. I can't speak highly enough of Mark and his work!! Very professional, straight to work, efficient, and very reasonably priced. I called him at 10pm, to set up an appt for the next day, but he said that he could come and do the work right then. I was pleasantly surprised about how accommodating he was and his work ethic. If you need a locksmith, this is the man to call!!!

We got off to a rocky start.  The technician that was assigned to our project couldn't make it in to work.  After waiting an hour or so I called and the gentleman working at the shop said he would be out as soon as someone else made it in to work.  He had six exterior doors to re-key and repair.  He did as much as he could at the house but the original 1936 hardware needed some repair and he took it back to the shop.  He returned two hours later with everything clean, polished, and working as well as the day they were originally installed.  I learned a lot of history about our knobs and locks and how they worked and how to take care of them.  We are already planning to use them again for the next project.

I actually ordered the deadbolts from them and tried to install them myself. I tried to order them before Christmas and got back from Christmas vacation expecting the locks to be in and they actually hadn't ordered them yet. So they were very slow to order and then even slower for the locks to come in. I don't think that was their problem. I think it was who they were getting them from. Actually Daryl has been very helpful and giving me advice about how to install the stuff myself. He has been very helpful with explanations and today I was sending him pictures and he called me back to answer some of my questions. Daryl has been really good to work with.

The gentleman was truly just that. He was polite and professional. He was also very personable. He knew what he was doing and was able to come up with the combination fairly quickly. Very good work. Would use them again in a heart beat and refer them to friends.

I've used Kenton Bros. for various locksmith services for over a decade. Their prices are entirely reasonable, and their staff is not only extremely knowledgeable but also friendly and helpful at every turn.

Our condo. building had a broken front entry-door latch and a frozen exterior doorknob on a rear exit that prevented the door from opening.
Called Overland Lock and Key late one afternoon and was told to call back the next morning after 8am. They were able to come out the same day I called.
It turned out that the back door had a broken latch that was preventing the doorknob from turning. The technician disassembled the knob from the inside, and then was able to pry the latch open with special tools from the outside. The latch was an odd size (2-3/8and quot; backset) that is often hard to find, but he had the part on his truck and was able to fix it in about 45 minutes.
The front door latch was also broken. Unfortunately, he did not have one of those (2-3/4and quot; backset) but was able to swap hardware with another door that is not frequently used. He also tightened the hinges and got the door back to proper operating condition. This required about another 30-45 minutes to repair.

I had a security camera system and intercom system install. My house was nder remodeling but would have got they to came in earlier due to extensive wiring in house . Had a few issues with intercom and had to get a different model but they did not charge me for upgrade. Overall they did a good , professional job. A little pricey but good quality equipment.

Car ignition jammed on Friday about noon. Unable to get service scheduled that day but they gave me a tip that allowed me to get home. Took it in Monday AM. They worked on it outside on a very cold day. It took about an hour to open the steering column and repair lock. Very professional. B on punctuality is due to a phone call that they did not return.
