    AB May
I was extremely upset that I was charged $114.00 for a $2.73 Wye 1-and a half inch PVC Pipe sold in Plumbing Department at Home Depot/Lowes/ Menards. No one sells THIS part for over $3.00. I am a senior citizen and a Disabled American Veteran AND this is Absurd. I have been with AB May for well over 7-years and this is Horrendous and it is PRICE GAUGING. Also my Backup Battery was $509.99 and my M98 was $202.00. The WYE was $114.00 and the Alarm costed $136.00. This service ALL Together ran me over $1600.00. My technician Joe handed me my Alarm in a BOX, in MY hand and told me to read the Instructions ! AB May is not what it used to be and having a Service Contract means nothing if you add on. I paid over $600.00 for JUST LABOR! This was an ACT of God because we had so much rain that my Sump Pump couldnt keep up! Buyer Beware! This Company will milk you DRY!!!!

Mike was great. He was very courteous and professional, and took the time to explain everything he was doing in a way that was easy to understand. He was excellent to work with, and I would recommend him highly.

It was covered by insurance, so the cost was just our deductible.  We've been using them now for like eight years or so, before the system was replaced.  They've always been responsive to our requests of either a repair or just a service call for seasonal cleaning, or whatever.

Perfect. Jesse called to let me know he was on the way and when he got stuck behind a train, he called me again to tell me he might be a bit behind on his ETA. He was professional, kind and checked out our a/c system quickly and efficiently. After he checked out the system, he informed me that our system was running well and nothing additional needed to be done. Definitely would recommend them.

AB May sent Marshall out same day. He took care of the issue in a reasonable amount of time and explained what needed to be done and how much it would be before he started the work. Very pleasant and professional

For the first several years, service was great. However, in the past year, PM visits have occurred severely (pre-season A/C check in August and pre-season heating check in January), I became concerned. In addition, when I received diagnosis my heat exchanger was bad and they would need ~$2000 to replace, it kicked in my company's 2nd-opinion policy. I received a 2nd-opinion and 3rd-opinion that the heat exchanger did not need to be replaced, just some other minor work. When I brought these two issues up with the company, the owner Brian got offended and wrote this email back: Based on your disbelief of our diagnosis of your failed heat exchanger, we removed you from our schedule last year. We respect the fact you want to get a second opinion on failures such as this, however, finding a company that does not have the skill to properly inspect a unit so they will restore the unit into operation is a very poor decision. We provided images of the failure, yet, you obviously did not trust our diagnosis as our last phone conversation you indicated you had come out and they were not able to find any holes and indicated you did not need to replace the heat exchanger. ... The fact you dont trust our people is enough for me to never do business together again.

Great! Everything was completed on time and just as planned. We felt like the pricing was excellent. The installers were very professional and explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. Their office staff is great as well - always very responsive and helpful. We've used them for general heat/ac service calls for years prior to this install as well and never had a bad experience with this company - they've always been very reliable.

    Neal Harris Service Experts
Excellent. Quoted 10 HVAC firms. Neal Harris is the most informative, comprehensive, competitive, accurate and best presentation by far. NH "did what they promised from start, performance and closure." It began with Justin Turner. A pleasure from start to finish. Justin has been in the trenches. He brought that unique aspect, experience & knowledge to determine what would best fit my application, budget and needs. I ask many questions and Justin made sure all were answered completely. Made multiple trips to explain everything & finalize. Ryan Butler [plumber] did an outstanding job installing the propane line. Very helpful and patient with questions I had. Techs Jason #351 and Todd #34 brought decades of experience and know how to the installation. Innovative and flexible. Just a top-notch and comprehensive installation. No matter the challenge. Jordan also provided great help and quality as well. One may purchase the best HVAC system available but...without a full quality, comprehensive & appropriate ends up behind the eight ball from day one.

    MVP Electric, Heating & Cooling
In the ensuing 8.5 years, I have had MVP out 4 times for repairs on this York furnace. Besides the original $8,000 for the new furnace, over $1,100 in repairs including three episodes of leaked refrigerant roughly a year or two apart and one major part replacement. This is on the system, they installed. I recently found out that York is at the bottom of the list of Consumer Report's Brand Reliability with a 19% repair rate over twice the rate to the top three furnace makers. [*** Link removed ***] My 5th failure occurred on the 8th February 2017, with another failure of a major part, and the discovery that MVP did not install the furnace bottom plate correctly leaving a 2-inch open gap along the rear of the furnace (affecting the performance of the system for the last 8.5 years). This episode adds another $530 (by another company) to the repairs done by MVP. I now have over $1,700 in this relative new furnace. Additionally, we never know when it is going to leak or break down again. Before selecting the other company, I called MVP and asked to speak to someone in management. A person not in management returned my phone call almost immediately, took my information and told me she would ask Chip Gabbert to call me. Four days later I called again and left another message for Chip. Those calls were never returned. Here is my record of calls: Jan 31: 11:32 AM (I asked to speak to someone in upper management.) Jan 31: 11:35 AM (Someone called me just 3 minutes later. She stated she was not in management. I explained the problem. She stated she would forward the information to Chip.) Feb 03: 09:01 AM (I called again and left message for Chip) Feb 09: 11:42 AM & 12:53 PM (my last attempt to reach Chip) I do not know what motivated Chip to not return my calls, but I do know it is unprofessional. I will never trust this company nor Chip Gabbert personally again.

Brent, Jeff, and Jesse came out to do duct cleaning at my house. They did a great job, explained their process, took great care of my home with tarps/floor coverings, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. They worked hard from start to finish! I even got a microbial treatment to kill any germs in my duct work. Having allergy kiddos, I think having my ducts cleaned will make our spring a little more comfortable this year!
