    They seem to be honest, they're affordable, and they use the parts you bring them if you want to save money.  They're friendly.  We got to meet the owner and his wife and his daughter, they all work there, and everybody's nice to us.  We just feel like they treat us well.  They remember our names and we like going there.

    I think if you go in there for an oil change, if you want an oil change  the price is pretty high, I think if you buy a package of oil changes from them the price is pretty fair.

    I get very good service from them. They are very professional and when I call, they give me a time that meets my schedule. They have a shuttle service to take me back and forth to work and it works out very good.

    I've been using this shop for 12 to 15 years. They were previously known as Mission Tire and Service. They're very reasonable and they do good work. It's a small operation. They don't have the usual complexities of a large operation. They're very trustworthy. They've also recently done a diagnosis and repair of my wife's car that was not running right. This involved a computer issue.

    I felt like the sales rep wasted my time and kept me there to wear me down until I give in on the price haggling. I had a nice trade-in and the lease price was a flat price. The problem was the price kept creeping up from the advertised price. In the end I feel ripped off. They got the advertised price, plus $2500 at signing plus my trade-in. The salesman kept me for over 6 hrs until I just gave in. I liked my new car but within 3 months I started getting sales calls from Shawnee Mission Kia wanting to tell me about sales special on new cars. I asked they remove me from the call list. They said they would. Six mo later I got another sales call wanting to tell me about a special on new cars. I got p***** and asked they remove me from the list again. I probably won't go back to this dealership but I will return my leased Kia and get a new one in 2015 from another Kia dealership.

    I have been taking my car here for a few years and actively searched them out on Angie's list to give them a review because of the incredible service I receive there time after time. Wonderful customer service, pleasant waiting room, honest work done quickly. I would highly recommend them for any auto work!

    I bought the car there in January, 2013, and found that they did a fine job on the sale, and then on the routine maintenance which was scheduled for June of this year.  I got in and out on the schedule they had promised.

    They were prompt courteous and generally knowledgeable, but, on one problem they thought they had fixed it, but, in fact, they had not, and we had to take the vehicle to another shop to get the job done properly.  I cannot now recall the details of the event.

    Someoneat the curb holding sign says Oil Change $24.  No other customers there so I expect to get right in without wait.  It was a nice day so all three staff were standing outside.  I parked my  car, walked up to staff to ask what my price would be for basic oil change.  He quotes me $39.  I say, "ok thanks, that's more than I thought it would be.  I don?t want to spend that much". I thanked him and turned to head back to my car.   He didn't respond or try to stop me, he just watched me walk away and said nothing.  As I was pulling out I rolled my window down to ask him why the sign said 24 but he said 39?  He then tells me
    "because you didn't allow me to finish.  I was going to tell you that we normally charge 39 but we are running a special". 
    OK, I needed an oil change and I know there is no wait but I'm not feeling comfortable with all the price confusion.  Why didn?t he just quote me the $24 to begin with?  He had the opportunity to reply but he didn?t.   He could have stopped me from walking away but he didn?t.  He watched me walk away.  
    I went ahead and had it done but I watched them closely because I wasn't feeling comfortable given what just happened.   About halfway through, there is more confusion.  The computer says I need all kinds of service to my vehicle and they are trying to sell me these services.  I looked at the computer screen and noticed they had mis-keyed my mileage as 85,000 when it  should have been 8500.  
    After it was all finished, I was paying for my service, they went over all the things they claim they did; claiming they topped off all my fluids.  This was odd because I watched them like a hawk and never saw them checking my fluids.  I wasn?t even aware   that it was included until it showed up on the paperwork.   When I got home I checked the fluids.   Power steering and antifreeze
    were at their minimum level and the washer fluid didn?t even register at all.  It is obvious they didn?t top off fluids.  
    The three staff members working today were the least friendly staff I?ve experienced in long time.  Maybe they didn?t like me  watching them or asking to see the old oil filter.  Or maybe they didn?t like me pointing out that they had my mileage wrong on the computer.  Or maybe they just hate their job. 
    As a customer, I need to feel like I can trust the staff and trust what they do to my vehicle.  I didn?t feel this today.  I won?t be going back.

    I take 5 cars to Carl for maintenance. I've been taking cars to him for several years now. I know I can trust Carl. He lets me know what is required and what might be required in the future. He never tries to upsell me like the dealerships. He will tell me if something can wait, or if it is something that really needs to be addressed immediately. On tires, I used to go to Costco. Costco has great pricing, but it is such a hassle because you can't actually schedule an appointment for new tires, you just have to take it in and it is first come first serve, which was usually a 3 hour wait. And while Costco includes road hazard, if your tire has to be replaced they often don't have it in stock, and delivery time can often be about a week. Carl gives me similar pricing, with road hazard and he can usually replace the tire on the same day. Plus, they are regular Michelin tires instead of the ones produced just for Costco by Michelin. He has very fair pricing and they are a very professional and responsive shop. I give him the highest recommendation.
