    Element Roofing
We were recommended Element Roofing by my parents because they had done work on their roof and gutters. We bought a house that was a major "fixer upper" in terms of gutters. Jeremy came out and walked me through the things he saw which were problems. He let me send him a text about our decisions later after I had talked to my husband about it which was really helpful because I don't always have time to make calls with work. He listed out all the issues with pictures and pricing, and my husband and I were able to to choose exactly what we wanted done and wanted to wait on. Once we let him know we paid part of the total price and were scheduled for the work. They came out and did everything, we only needed to be out there briefly to open the garage for them (we were not living at the house at the time) and they handled everything else without us needing to be there. Once everything was done he took pics of the completed work so we could see a side-by-side with the pics he took before the work. Everything was mended beautifully. They were very friendly to work with, especially with Jeremy texting me info I needed to know. His explanations were easy to understand. We just paid the rest of the invoice. Would definitely work with them again.

Centennial Construction & Remodeling Services, Inc
We had some rotted siding and a storm door that had to be replaced followed by painting of the exterior of the house. The repair of the siding went fine. The storm door was replaced with a Larson door but they installed the old worn out door hardware onto the new door. They assumed I would want the old hardware on a new door. Why would anyone want old hardware on a brand new door? I had to tell them to put the new hardware on which they did. The plastic cover on top of the door covering the hydraulic door closed was also cracked. I have brought this to their attention and not replaced yet. We have hired many painters in the past. Very displeased with the conduct of this bunch. To start they knocked loose two of the deck balusters off the back deck. They left it. I repaired it. These painters was by far the sloppiest. I am still discovering new areas on my house where they left paint smudges and blobs of paint. They left paint on the brick, deck, plants, and gutter downspouts. I pressure washed these areas and removed the paint myself. I specifically asked that the crew take care around the landscaping and plants in front of the house. There was a lot of broken branches around the tree and also the rhododendrons. I came home after work and observed the paint crew was washing off all their equipment in the middle of my lawn. Now there is a nice brown dead spot to remind me. The contract I signed said one color of paint on the house. The paint crew used two. A separate color for trim. Their mistake not mine. They came back and said I owed an additional $700 after the fact. I paid it and am moving on.

Justin Webb managed our overall exterior project, of which had three stages. Their prices were middle of the road, about average for each part, but used quality materials. I had never had a project this costly done all at one time, so I was anxious until it was completed. all The carpentry crew did a great job. Cleanup was 99% perfect. The only minor issue was that the dumpster and excess material sat in our driveway a couple of days longer than I would have liked and we were therefore unable to use our garage a bit longer. Small nuisance. We couldn't tell much about how it would look until stage two, which was full exterior painting, but we were very pleased. Justin is businesslike and was generally very responsive to my questions, concerns, and scheduling. The exterior painting crew was fantastic. Zero complaints. Very meticulous. The chief painter had some awesome suggestions when I had a vision of how I wanted something done or needed to achieve a specific effect. If you get Polo, count yourself lucky. I recommend paying a little more for Duration paint instead of Super paint from Sherwin Williams. That was suggested by our local paint store. It's much better paint for just a little more cost. The gutter team took a while to get here after the paint was done, but I'm not sure if that was due to their schedule or when Justin ordered the gutters. They were here and gone in a few hours for our single level home. I was somewhat annoyed that they showed up and left unannounced. Maybe they are used to working when no one is home, but I was here and had not expected them. We had permanent leaf guard installed as well as drip edge, which our idiot roofers neglected to do several years ago. The new gutters are big 6" wide ones now instead of our old 4" ones that sagged terribly. The gutters drain properly and we have an almost complete exterior makeover. Our house looks beautiful. Voil! I am not the easiest person to please nor very trusting of contractors due to multiple bad experiences over a lifetime, sometimes with highly rated companies. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Aztec Homes for siding, painting, or gutters. They do use subs for some services, but that's how it's done these days. We saved a little money on the project by pressure washing the house, planning to install new faux shutters, and planning to paint two of the three exterior doors ourselves.

Justin was very professional and spent time discussing the work I wished to have completed. I received a list of referrals. Not only did I know one who gave them high ratings, but I could also go view their work at homes near me. The siding crew and painting crew were both very professional, prompt, worked full days to complete the job timely. I had a different contractor for other work on my home and they did a terrible clean up job. Aztec was attentive to clean up with both crews. I felt price was in line with that of the industry and competitors. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Robert Stevens Roofing
Following significant hail damage in our neighborhood, we obtained multiple quotes and decided on Stevens Roofing based on initial inspection/quote and reviews. First warning sign was that ownership was transferred. Communication between roofing company and insurance adjuster/agent was poor, we had to do most of the work just to get things moving and repairs approved. It was months before repairs on roof were even made. Stevens roofing decided it was a great idea to start repairs on time when rain was a possibility, well surprisingly after day 1 of replacing roof it rained and they failed to place tarp on uncovered roof which led to more damage in house. Following roof replacement we still had multiple more areas of damage to be addressed (gutters/window replacement/screen replacement/bay window roof replacement, etc). Months and months went on with no repairs. Stevens Roofing excuse was that never ending. Finally, we got in touch with insurance company/adjuster/agent and determined that Stevens Roofing failed to include additional damages on initial report and failed to provide insurance company with additional information when contacted directly. Ultimately, we were forced to hire new contractor and had all work completed in timely manner. Any evaluation or review on this company dating anything more than 1-2 years is worthless. If you would like to have mediocre repairs done that are incomplete and would like to wait a very long time, then this is the company for you.

    Project Melton
Project Melton has been my General Contractor for years. From replacing water heaters to 20K bathroom remodels the project total price is always listed along with details around installment payments based on project milestones. Defined processes exist for changes and he provides realistic project dates based on the situation to do the job correctly. As an amateur handyman, I have an understanding of what it takes to do the work, I choose Project Melton because they have the skill and years of experience to do the job correctly. Attached is a picture from recent project (2018) of a bathroom remodel for the kids.

The crew arrived on time and were very professional. The prep-work and the painting went really well. The stain work on the shutters and the front door made the house look like it did the day we moved in ten years ago. I was very pleased with the work that was done and would recommend them to others.

    Cochran Exteriors LLC
Our new roof from Cochran Exteriors looks great. Nathan Bussberg, the representative we dealt with from Cochran, was fantastic. He promptly and thoroughly answered all of our questions regardless of whether the question was sent during business hours. He also did a great job working with our insurance company and meeting with our adjuster to secure us the maximum possible coverage. Nathan also reviewed the work of the roofing crew to make sure everything was installed correctly and followed up with us a few days later to make sure we were satisfied. Once we had picked out the shingles for our new roof it took about 2 weeks for the roofing crew to come out and install the new roof. The roofing crew took from 645am to about 8pm to install our roof. They were determined to get it done in one day. All in all, Cochran provided great customer service and we were pleased that it only took one day to get the new roof installed.

Excellent! Owners carefully reviewed all work with us prior to starting. Highly visible ownership presence at the job site throughout. Work quality through clean up was top notch. All workers were courteous, kind and respectful allowing for our normal family life not being altered during the work.
