The company did NOT attempt to contact me via phone or email to schedule the appt, and, as a busy professional also taking care of my 87 year old mother and raising 2 children, I have not contacted them either until a few weeks ago. It is my understanding that while the promotion expired, the money paid to that company does not expire i.e. they may charge more to do that exact work that they were going to do for less during the promotion.
Since the work I needed to have done was ONLY a repair of the garage's dry wall damage ( 23X30 inches), I thought that they could still do the work at this time for the $119 that I had already paid.
Per Angie's list emails an appt was sched for 11/7/13 with 8-8:30 arrival time. I changed my schedule to have this work done.
At 7:40 on 11/7/13 I was called by the Company and was told that the deal expired and I lost the money and they will NOT do the work. Since no work was done by the company and no effort was made by the company to contact me via phone or email, it seems to me that the fair thing to do at this time is to have my $ 119 refunded to me.
